"Sometimes, you just play with your food."

The man stood in the hotel shower, as the clear water from above him turned crimson when washing the blood of his skin. The victim was foolish, a happy young rich woman going on a bunch of dates in upper echelon restaurants of coruscant. She really was at the height of her happiness, all the way to their room they hired, before the man's silky skin turned into a mix of claws, fangs and teeth, eating away slowly, maximizing the pain, lashing away the skin, flaying the muscle away from the bone while the victim was alive. Oh her pain was so delicious. He always chose excessively happy people, because their fall was so much more steep, and their suffering grater as he dismantled their body and soul, and ate the essence.

He exited as a clean outfit basically formed on his body as he stood in the mirror with a cold face, as his red eyes turned yellow, and then the golden honey that was his war amber eye color. He adjusted his hair with the cold look, and then smiled, and started changing expressions. It was training, as he picked up every detail that seemed non genuine, molding himself back into the suave man. His feeding had made him stable, as he looked young, near flawless skin and fit body, like a man in his twenties at the peak of his physicality.

After that he was already on the streets of the uppermost level of coruscant, among the elite. His force signature, concealed completely. The owners of the place he had his little dinner with would find the corpse soon, but they had no memory of anyine being with the woman, nor the people in the restaurant they dined in. He had made sure noone remembered him, all records were wiped, and there is no way to trace it back to him.

His clothing was sleek as he would go to one of the highest end restaurants for his breakfast - one even senators were often guests to in the tops of the city, right beside the senate district. He needed to travel soon, but he would enjoy the luxuries of the city for one more day.

On a rare outing without Darth Solipsis Darth Solipsis she leaned her head back and inhaled deeply. The air at this level was not as tainted and choking as any below. And the sky was intriguing.

Laevus had remained aboard the ship. What he was doing, she had no idea. Nor did she question him. Such was not her place.

Tonight, she wore plain dusty grey robes beneath a plain brown hooded cloak. Her hands were hidden, folded within the depths of her sleeves. Her hood down, all could see her red skinned Twi'Lek face, as well as the black tattoos that wrapped around her Lekku. Her eyes were a smoldering yellow, that appeared in deep thought. On her lips was a wistful smile.

Ahead of her, in the midst of a small crowd, one form stood out among the rest. Or better to say, stood among the rest. Hayden Umbra was a big man indeed. And quite the snappy dresser. For the briefest of moments, Maestus reached out with the Force. But she sensed no Force signature within him. A second later, and she herself in the safety the Force offered, allowing her signature to be hidden.

A pity she thought to herself. Still, she could sense things about him as she drew near. He was attractive, that was not in doubt. It was his charisma, the sensuality to him. He could probably charm anyone out of anything. Probably used to always getting his way. Her wistful smile curled into a smirk as she moved closer to him.

She lowered her head slightly. With carefully measured steps, she strode up to him and fell into step alongside. She raised her head, her gaze on the plebians moving to and fro.

If you are attempting to blend in, even with your smart dress and confident air, you stand out. Whether or not it's in a bad manner, remains to be seen.

As she walked next to him, her hands disappeared into her sleeves. Loosely clasp together. Her cloak billowed in the night breeze, opening as they walked. Were he to look, Hayden would see only a bit of the front of her dusty grey robes that swept along the ground.

She maintained her gaze forward, but kept her senses aware of him. Listening to his steps. And any words he may choose to speak.

Her reaching out with the force was an almost immediate giveaway, even as she hid it immediately it was enough to notice, and he was not happy to notice her, as his eyes barely glimpsed at her he caught all the details he needed - this force sensitive was barely trying to hide themselves. Were they foolish, confident or both, it irked him as he felt that this slopy behavior would be trouble. She approached him directly, although he doubted she had sniffed him out.

He calmed down his annoyance, as he would outwardly raise his brow sarcastically as he would assume his role. He sarcastically smirked, slightly in a condescending manner.

"And why would I want to blend in? Standing out, and making those big wigs jealous is what I do. I didn't get dressed up tp NOT make everyone in the room feel ugly. Judging by your outfit, you had the opposite idea."

His fingers tangled toger as he has crossed his legs still sitting having that confident, condescending smirk a rich person had when they had someone poor beside them. He stood out yes, intentionally, always just enough, as when someone was trying too hard to blend in was suspicious. Letting yourself stand out, to become one thing in people's eyes, a stereotype, they rarely take as something esle but their preconceived notions. It was a strategy that worked.

Via studied Hayden Umbra as he spoke. She had learned much of patience in the recent months. So she simply let him speak for as long as he needed. While he did, she looked him over very slowly from head to toe. Her gaze weighed heavily on his eyes. That was where you truly learned what a person was made of.

His eyes intrigued her. There was something....almost.....no, not almost......definitely arrogant. Yes, he was. Or was it a mask to hide deeper, perhaps darker character traits? The ones that stung deeply if mentioned. And were one to be faced with all their hidden traits, Via could imagine the overload.

But she digressed. Her thoughts needed to be focused. Controlled. So, she gave him the slightest smirk in return. Either way, blending in or standing out, can be quite useful. Depending on what the overall goal is. As you have elaborated on your desire to stand out, I feel equally resolute in my desire to blend in.

She sat down in a chair. She attempted to relax. But even beneath the cloak and robes, the tension in her face and neck, even her hands, was obvious. Tighter than a spring, this one was. She folded her hands into her lap, letting them disappear within the sleeves. A faint smile crossed her face, before she looked up to Hayden once more. He had her curious to know more. And she would bear him until she knew.
