----------------------------------------------------------

Greetings, pilgrims, travelers, and freedom seekers alike! We here are the Seekers of the Route to M4-78. A world born in legend, we lay claim to the legacy of such a world, where organic and droid alike can recieve the benefits and virtues of a free and proper state. As such, we work to ensure a free and safe place within our own little slice of the galaxy. Please look to this educational pamphlet to note some of our services.

----Freehold Governing Body------

The city of Freehold is our pride and joy, the center of our movement, and a free city for both droid and organic to rest and prosper. A portion of your purchases made as taxes and duty fees in the city will go to the Temple from the following services:

  • Refilling cells or ships at one of our conveniently located power stations.
  • Renting retail space at our great bazaar, known for its exotic and unusual droid and starship parts.
  • Reserving hangar space at the south end spaceport.
  • A small fee on drinks sold at the Asylum Inn.
  • Any fines paid for minor criminal and civil offenses to the Freehold Security Forces.

In addition to this, the Temple also accepts donations from like-minded individuals who believe that our work contributes to the greater good of Ord Cestus and the galaxy at large. If you would like to donate to the temple, please contact one of our docents via the enclosed hotline.

----------Non-Profit Operations------
The primary responsibility of the Temple, aside form the governance of Freehold and the protection of its people, is to promote good works across Ord Cestus and the galaxy at large. In this capacity, we existed as a non-profit organization, providing aid and assistance to those in need.

  • Refugee assistance and placement--while our organization is not prone to purely political alignments, we still stand against tyranny and slavery, and will do our utmost to assist in the movement of refugees and runaway slaves, as well as droids seeking manumission.
  • Medical aid--The Freehold temples runs two separate clinics, one specializing in organic medicine and one droid repair. Both are free. We hope to expand our services to allow Mission trips for medical and material aid to other planets in the near future.
  • Military aid--The people of Freehold are still citizens of Ord Cestus, and will provide some level of military assistance to its people to prevent the spread of tyrannical reign or oppression in its myriad forms. We will not begin a war, but if we are compelled to fight for righteousness, we shall do so without hesitation.
  • Speaking tours--50H31, our lead prophet, offers regular lessons and seminars at no cost, although donations are encouraged. If you would like him or other teachers of the Temple to speak at your event, a gift in kind donation to cover travel expenses and provide some extra money for the temple is preferred, so that our work may continue with resources while our monks travel abroad.

-----Droid Designs-----

As a temple founded by a Manumissed droid with a mission of proving that free droids can integrate into the galaxy at large, we occasionally expend resources on the creation of independent droids. It is worth noting that these droids are not for sale--they exist independently of their own volition. Here is a list of some of the droids that have been produced in the temple, and their approximate numbers. These droids exist as proofs of concept--the concept being that droids, like organics, can functions as free citizens in this world.

  • Ashigaru, the self-sustaining explorers (1300cr to Manufacture per unit)
  • Docent, the PR-minded Priestly droids (4,200cr to manufacture per unit)

These units are not available for purchase. However, if a donation is ear-marked for the cost of a specific model's production, The sponsor will be sent a holographic card detailing the creation and naming of said droids, shipped to the donor at no expense.
