  • Duramesh, Molytex, and Duravlex used for the construction of the body suit, or armorweave portions of the suit. Namely being in places such as the armpits, neck, behind the knees, and other joints.
  • Reinforced Duraplast and Quadranium used in conjunction with one another for the armor plating itself. With the addition of Laser reflective coating.
  • Flexisteel and Flex-bronze were mostly used as a top layer of the Fiber body suit, as well as the ornaments of the armor.
  • Thermal Gel incorporated into the armor inner layers for large kinetic impacts, as well as regulating body heat within, and outside of the armor.

STRENGTHS

• Namesake: As is the namesake of the armor, "Defender," the armors main purpose is defensive measures against enemies. Providing superior protection against the most conventional weaponry. As they tend to be the easiest to defend against, as well as being the most common in use of the larger factions within the galaxy. While also providing good protection against Radiation based weaponry. Namely due to the materials used. Secondly, with a multitude of Shielding systems that have been provided to Kale, The armor can easily be used in the form of a Wall to defend those around himself. Taking upon himself the legacy of not just the Jedi, but also the Paladins of Adamite Tower.
• Never without Tools: As with any Jedi who would prepare for the situation ahead of them, the armor comes with many utilites that a Jedi could need. Even secondary communication devices, an aquatic breather, compass, and beacon transceiver.

WEAKNESSES

• Taxing System: Due to the usage of such shield systems, their biggest weaknesses, is that they can only be used in defense of one specific type of weaponry. While it can defend against many different types of weaponry, in order to change such types, the shield will need to be deactivated, then put back into place. While there is an overcharge where upon Kale can use the shielding systems to protect against more than one damage type, he can only do so for a short time, and will then have to wait for the shields to recharge.
• The Wall Doesn't Move: As with any armor that affords greater protection against a multitude of weaponry, they tend to be on the heavier side. While the armor does not limit or prohibit movements, it can be tiresome in wearing the armor for long periods of time, or for extended battles. Sure, one could wear this armor all the time. Much akin to how Mandalorians would. However, the armor is heavy enough that prolonged fights can tire the user.
• Cracks in Defense: There are some types of weaponry that cannot be defended against. Namely the usage of exotic types of weaponry. Sonic, Biological, Acidic, and some portions of the natural elements can be rather destructive, or hampering upon the user. Of course they can offer better protection than without, but not by much.

DESCRIPTION
Kale over the entirety of his training, has focused his efforts in protecting people. Rescuing Individual people, Rescue Slaves, and even Aid a Rebellion that he was turned away from. Kale's time as a Jedi has always been about aiding those around him, Defending those who need it, as well as following the Jedi codes that have been presented before him. Ever the man with a heart big enough for more than himself. While his previous set of armor was mainly built for the general purpose of war or combat, this armor is expanded to be so much more. Aiding in anything related to Defense, or to just be the Line in the Sand. A defender that doesn't move for anything.

Providing the armors namesake. Sentinel Defender. More over, the usage of thorns is not quite the typical one. Unique to some Jedi is the aspect of spikes upon armor. As many could consider it unnecessary or even detrimental. However, for Kale, its the opposite. As with any Rose, a beautiful thing needs to be protected. A defensive mechanism of the rose, is the thorns growing upon it. As such, the armor's name, comes with the territory. Being the thorn, for the rose it is upon.
