The Time has come...for Round 2.

HK-42 was tasked to find any Jedi to kill...simple as that. His Master told him those exact words...Find and Kill as many Jedi as possible. He was currently on Ilum to do just that, knowing that Jedi would come flocking here for new lightsaber crystals. He landed on the planet during night fall, and melted the entrance into the Crystal Caverns, just to find and take a lightsaber crystal. No, this wasn't for himself to upgrade his sabers built into his wrist, but to fool Jedi who are wanting an easy way through the caverns to find a crystal and try to take it, only for HK-42 to ambush them and kill them during their moments of shock and confusion. It was a fool proof plan, as the Less Jedi there were, the more of a successful chance the First Order had to wiping out the Galactic Alliance from the Galaxy...maybe even the Jedi Order as well.

The stage had been set, as the crystal was perched on a small, carved podium, and was completely surrounded by a icy cliff, with only one way in and out of that area. He sat atop the cliff side, just far enough away to where people couldn't see him, but to where he could see them. He was ready to strike and kill any Jedi foolish enough to think they'd find a crystal that easily.

It had been playing on her mind for a while now, her reliance on the one blade she had in a fight. There wasn't any one situaion that she could pinpoint as a trigger, that droid she'd disarmed, the rogue Jedi who was looking to build a lightsaber, not just as a way to define himself but to have one more arrow to his bow. It had made the Padawan realise that she only had the two arrows, the force, and her lightsaber. She didn't think building another lightsaber would add too much to her arsenal but it was a start. So she had requested a leave, catching the first transport she could to Ilum, most of the parts for a saber were readily available to her, but a crystal, that took a little more effort.

Which was how she found herself through the icy landscape, her senses thrown out as she searched through the caves with her mind. She could feel the crystals surrounding her, buried deep within the caves but none of them were ready to be used, she didn't need a special crystal, not for an alternate saber but...she did need something she could use. Something like that, the crystal set on its plinth, separate from the rest of the crystals, sitting alone in that cavern, almost as if it had been placed there. This was too suspicious too fortunate but then, she wasn't really going to look a gift-horse in the mouth like that.

HK-42 was still waiting, not seeing any Jedi arrive for hours, before a Shuttle landed on the planet nearby. He could hear it from where he was, but he couldn't see it. It didn't concern him, except for how many Jedi were on the shuttle, and who would fall for his trap. Soon, He saw her...[member="Asaraa Vaashe"]. The Jedi who disarmed him before on Nar Shaddaa, and made him resort to another Meatbag to fix him. At this point, he knew she wasn't going to be peaceful with him this time. He knew that once she saw him, she'd go right on the offensive. The crystal was still there, the ice sort of forming around the crystal, making it look like it formed there. He couldn't ask for anything better than that for his trap; A Jedi he wants to kill, and a crystal that she can see, and most likely wants to grab.

HK-42 waited for her to go for it, to be right next to the crystal before he made his move, for if he struck too late, He'd miss her, and she'd escape. If he struck too early, she'd be able to run from him before he could trap her in the cliffside area He perched himself on. So for now, he had to wait for the right moment to strike at her.

There was something wrong with this situation, something not quite right since she'd learned to peer into the future she'd been getting glimpses, premonitions and intuitions about what might come. Not a clear picture, but a vague premonition but then...the crystal was right there and what was the worst that could happen? She could handle pretty much anything that came at her, and what she couldn't well it wasn't like no-one knew she was here, if she didn't report in a few hours then they'd come looking for her.

Taking a deep breath the young woman stepped forward, slipping through the whole towards the crystal. It was so small, the crystal, but so important to the lightsaber. There was perhaps a philosophical lesson in there somewhere but there were other things on her mind right now as she stalked forward, her fist clenching around it. THere, that wasn't so bad then, was it?

He now saw his chance to strike. [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] Had stepped into the area, and reached out for the crystal. He quickly made his move, using his jetpack to jump over to the only entrance into the cliff side. He split his arms and activated his light sabers, ready to strike her down.

"Statement: Jedi. You will Die."

"Taunting Remark: This is what you get for trusting your eyes and gut, Jedi"

His torso began to spin, not giving her a true chance to prepare to run, as he wanted to make sure she was absolutely unable to escape.

It was the thrum of lightsabers that set the Togruta's already tense nerves off as she threw herself forward, her shoulder dropping down as she came up in a crouch, her hand opening as the lightsaber attached to her belt flew out, snapping into her hand. The light of the blue blade cast her features with a purple tint as she instinctively angled the blade across her body, the tip pointed away from her as she looked past her blade at her opponent. The Togruta's lips curled up into something that generously could be seen as a smile, in the same way that a shark baring his teeth could be seen as a grin.

"You! I was hoping that we'd meet again...I owe you for last time."

Her blue eyes fastened on the droid opposing her, that familiar form of [member="HK-42"] lightsabers sprouting from his hands...his split hands.

"Got an upgrade I see, it's not gonna help you this time."

The Jedi straightened, raising her arms above her head as she tilted her blade down in a high guard.

"Two or four, you're not getting away this time."

"Statement: I allowed you to live. I gave you back your credits."

"Threatening Statement: I will not make that mistake again."

He knew what she was going to do. She was most likely expecting HK-42 to step forward, moving himself away from his position at the entrance, giving her a chance to escape. He decided not to move from his position, his baldes now at high speed, making it look like an Orange ring around him. He wasn't going to let [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] Escape this time...Not again.

Asaraa's blue eyes locked onto the droid, a part of her mind tracking his movement, a count of the spinning blades and their patterns as she circled around him slowly. The Padawan had hoped that hed step forward, stepping out of the doorway to close with her but...it didn't look like he was going to do that. Instead he stood there, in the entrance like some kind of ancient gatekeeper.

"I guess if you won't come to me,"

Slowly she advanced, counting the paces between then as she stayed out of the reach of his blades as he twirled them at his sides. Reaching into the force the Togruta shifted her blade, pressing her blade against one of his with a loud crack, the smell of ozone reaching her nostrils as she stepped to the side, spinning her blade around as she drove them against his again.

[member="HK-42"]

As [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] got closer and closer, HK-42 spun the blades faster and faster, before her blade hit his. With that, he knew she was going to die. She started making movements to avoid the spinning of his blades, but that didn't stop him from doing a few extra moves of his own. He tried as best he could to stay where he was, to prevent her from escaping the trap he set. He did anything he could to break her concentration; Using unorthodox attacks, changing the direction of his spinning, and even lunging the blades in a stabbing fasion.

"Statement: Resistance is Futile. You will die here, Jedi."

The padawan took a step backwards, her blue blade dancing in front of her as she fended off the robot's attacks. Left, right, up and right against, the harsh sound of lightsabers clashing filled the little cave. She could feel the droid's strength behind the blows, battering at her guard as she forced herself to hold up, to match him strike for strike before she took a step back and then another, resettling her guard, presenting her profile to the droid as she shifted her blade to a one-handed grip. This was why she'd learned Makashi, the possibility having to face a saber-wielding opponent.

The Togruta let a shark's smile touch her lips as she waggled her blade at him. "I've heard that before but...well you can't really hit me if you're going to stay there in the doorway can you? You can just stand there till the search party comes, and then you'll be coming with me to answer for your crimes."

[member="HK-42"]

"Explaination: You are attempting to fool me."

"Statement: That will not work the way you think."

He did come to the realization that she would be with others, and they would be looking for her. He looked to the cliff wall of ice that was next to him, as he decided to use that as a barricade. First, he pointed all of his lightsabers down into the snow and spun them, creating a mist to keep her from timing her escape via sight. Once there was a thick and large enough cloud of snowy mist, he cut out a large chunk of the Ice Wall to his right, making a barricade that was just as tall as he was. As the Ice fell, He used his Jet pace to lunge at her, torso spinning again to make sort of a spinning top effect.

Well, that didn't work out quite how she thought that it would...The girl had been hoping that she could enrage him and lure him into charging away from the doorway. Only she hadn't been expecting him to seal the doorway like that, but then maybe she should have thought that plan through a little more. Droids wouldn't react in the same way as a living being, they were rather more logical than that. Which left her with a little problem, or rather a major one. A giant droid jetpacking towards her.

Luckily Aaraa had seen this before, had been hoping for this reaction from the droid. she span away to the side, her lightsaber just pressing against his, parrying his strike as she pirouetted in place. The clash of their lightsaber's sent a jarring shock down her arm as he cut at the air she'd just occupied, the girl dancing away from him as she narrowed her eyes at the droid, throwing herself forward, blade stretched out in front of her in a thrust.

HK-42 missed with his lunge, as he had momentarily forgotten he tried this before with her, with the same result. As he landed back on his feet, [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] had lunged at him with her lightsaber to attempt to either stab him, or cut off his arms again. He knew the upgrades he received would prevent the latter from happening, but he didn't have anything ready for the former. He did attempt to block her attack, but He was too late. She got a small hole cut into his body, but it wasn't in a critical area, but more of his side.

"It appears you learned like me from our last encounter. Perhaps you could of been an expert Knight of the Dark Side, where you were an ally, not an enemy."

He then made a strange move, where he shut off one of his sabers, and grabbed her lightsaber by the hilt. He started pulling at it, planning to either force her to let go of her saber, or lose her arm to force her to drop it. Either way, If she wasn't going to die today, He was going to at least claim a prize this time, it being her lightsaber. The Other three lightsabers started closing to her arm to cut it off, moving as if he was purposely wanting her to run, once she let go of her lightsaber.

She had almost forgotten how strong the droid was, each strike of his blades against her send a reverberation up her arm nearly tearing her arms from their sockets. All she could do was dance away from him before the closed against, her blade lashing against the side of his blades, parrying his attacks desperately to the side as she tried to stay one step, two steps ahead of the droid’s nearly relentless assault.

“Oh, you know how it is, you stand still and you’re dead. But then, you join the darkside and you might as well be dead too, so if it’s all the same, I think I’ll pass.”

Taking a deep breath Asaraa pressed forward, her blade clashing against his as she took one step forward, pivoting on her left foot as she swung around, using her bodies momentum to carry his blades away from her body as she completed a complete spin. A predator’s grin lit up her face as she took hold of her lightsaber with both hands, taking a step forward as she thrust it straight at him.

The smile on her face flickered out as she saw him move, her strike not proving to the lethal strike he’d been hoping for. The Togruta’s eyes opened in surprise as his lightsabers shut off, his hand grasping at her own blade. If he’d been a human she imagined she could see a smile on his face as she threw herself backwards, hearing the thrum of the blade just passing in front of her face as she fell back into the snow, her hands outstretched as she saw him grasp the silver hilt of her blade. Reaching past him with the force the girl reached into the snow banks behind him and pulled, tendrils of the force worming through the wall behind him as it shifted.

HK-42 had what he wanted. He had her lightsaber, the first in his collection. He shut it off and took a good look at the hilt, examining his prize before he heard something behind him. The wall was beginning to move towards him. He activated his Jetpack once more, but instead of charging towards [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] like before, this time he flew back to where he jumped from originally, her lightsaber in hand.

HK-42 happened to listen to multiple recordings of the Original General Grievous' voice, the cough included. He decided that from now on, with each lightsaber he collected, he'd play a certain audio track from his memory banks of the General stating a new addition to his original collection, an amount of items that HK-42 wanted himself.

"This will make a fine addition to My Collection."

Before HK-42 walked away, He placed the blade on his hip, and activated his lightsabers again. He spun his torso and cut a few bits of ice off of the wall he was standing on, causing a small avalanche of ice before he walked away from the area, back to his ship.

The sliding, shifting avalanche of ice made an almost roaring sound at it swept down to fill the chamber, washing over the girl leaving her buried beneath it. She’d barely been able to throw up a barrier as the soft snow surrounded her, threatening to crush her beneath it’s weight. She could feel the reverberations of the droid’s footsteps as he paced away, her eyes screwed shut as she desperately held up the shield. She knew someone would come looking for her eventually, but not yet, and she didn’t intend to let them find her like this.

The Togruta reached out with her mind, tendrils of the force threading through the snow around her, drawing in the energy, what little heat it had, pulling it into her form as she felt it hardening around her, a sheet of ice with a little sphere of her own where the barrier had been. Ater that it was easier to crac the ice, shattering up in a geyser of icy shards as she floated up out of the hole, glaring at the footsteps in the snow. Today he’d gotten the better of her but next time…next time she’d take him.
