The time has come, to push the button

PM for the Invite. I've spoken to a few people already, y'all are good.

The setting? A shadowport, but not just any shadowport, one of the ones that the Underground personally constructed. The location? Out beyond the Mid-Rim at a station in deep space, beyond Ryoone but not anywhere near Skye, not yet. Flight plans had been transmitted and hyperspace jumps for a variety of vessels were planned, and with no real broadcasts coming from the shadowport, and no gravity well to speak of, it was the only way to get there. The ships would be arriving in a variety of paths but as soon as they showed up? The Port would welcome them and open up the hangars.

The man in charge wasn’t aware of how many people he’d get to show up. All he knew was that he was hoping for a showing. It was time to affect some change in the galaxy. There were plans in his head, what needed to be done, and how they could go about it. How to best fix the situation in the galaxy. Why did he care? The man that was looking out across the blackness of space was one of the people that lived in the galaxy. That was why he was working to fix it.

Part of him had his own personal vendetta to worry about, and that was what sparked this. The other? Well, it was a matter of principle. For the beings in this galaxy to keep going on how they did? Tey needed to stand tall, they needed to stand together. And what he really needed from them was to put their bickering aside. Sure, he was working with a group of beings he didn’t exactly care for, but he needed the help. He’d figure out what to do with step two next.

For now? It was amassing teams. It was pulling together people and it was giving them tasks. It was making lines in the sand and following them up. It was turning the tide.

It was creating the storm.

When people arrived, they’d be brought through the shadowport, which would change its location after this meeting, to the main conference hall. Most people may not know the man in charge of this meeting, and for him? That meant he was doing his job right. Still, he needed to put his face out there. Things needed to change.

Aela stiffened slightly as she was sent through the shadowport.

The odd “guards” around her seemed to eye her, as if they didn't quite believe what they saw. Aela watched back, no hint of smile, joy, or any other emotion playing across her face. She simply walked, lightsaber hanging at her hip and hands closed into gently curled fists, her lips thin.

She had barely attended this.

Many times in the galaxy there had been organization that had tried to band together, many times there had been people who had attempted to renew old ties, and they had all failed. That was the point of the Covenant, to wipe away the old and bring forth the new. An idealistic standpoint, a foolish standpoint for some, but it was what Aela and the others believed, what they would bring about.

Aela had no doubt in that. Yet by the urging of the others, she had decided to attend this meeting. She would watch, wait, listen, and give her opinion when asked. As with all things there would be no guarantees, and as with all things she would not be the only on that held this attitude.

Slowly the doors before her opened, and she stepped into the Conference room.

Silent steps would follow [member="Aela Talith"], a shadow hidden in the Force as well as sight and out of mind. The elder Talith may aquicese to the meeting, but she would not be doing it alone. Whether she knew it or not. Besides, intrigue would glitter behind the dark tinted visor of the Phrik mask.

One with the melting of the shadows, a critical gaze would pan throughout the conference room. Manipulations of the Force would ensure an unnoticeable presence, and that suited fine. If this was a trap, it was best to remain hidden until nevcesary. Soundless steps would bring a suitable vantage point on one corner to perch.

Now one simply had to wait.

Chastity Lunelle, Silver Jedi Padawan had heard it. The call made by [member="Coren Starchaser"] over covert channels, encrypted digital spaces, and whispered through word of mouth. A group of Jedi from various different orders across the galaxy were meeting at a Mid Rim Shadowport under the banner of change.

She didn’t have much to give, save for her burgeoning skills as a warrior-in-training and a fresh, unjaded eye that wanted to watch over the galaxy. Chastity wanted to help those who could not help themselves. She made her way through the shadowport, looking for anyone who might be a Jedi or somehow connected with the movement.

Chastity’s Master [member="Connor Harrison"] was currently tied up with Silver Jedi business, but would be sure to check up on her later. He never let her wander too far from his protection, especially after what happened on Belgaroth. Although the Padawan had gotten in over her head on the now Sith-controlled world, the excursion gave Chastity a front row seat to the kind of destruction the Sith could cause, as well as their cold, callous disregard for life. Inexperienced or not, the young woman could not sit by idly while they continued to destroy the galaxy. A storm was coming, and the Jedi could either be the winds of change, or left in the aftermath, kneeling, with hands to the sky. One thing was for sure, Chastity was ready to be right in the eye of the hurricane.

It wasn't like they had been apart for much since the return of [member="Xander Carrick"] to the galaxy that seem to need his own battle skills more and more. Maya being the one trying to figure out where she fit in the mix of it all. Always being that of the peace not wanting to involved herself into any conflicts at all. Standing now at the top of the ship that brought them to this meeting place. In Xander personal ship did they travel, it wasn't as if she had a bad ship. It was just that as her beloved put it a old pile of junk that needed to be updated badly or even to fix her up with a new ship. Either way she knew him to be right in this matter.

Looking out before stepping of the ramp. Feeling the strong arms come around her slender waist. Today like many others she still keep with her dress. Something she had came to take a liking to more then having to put on her warrior armor. In it all she had long flowing sliver robes that mark the symbol of not only of the Sliver Jedi Order but of the Sage.

Knowing what this meeting was about, still would other come in the past it seem all had different idea of how to handle the sith problem. Even she thought differently way back. Today was how every a different story, just maybe it was her own self being a mother that wanted to have her children grow up in a galaxy not so flood with the darkness that seem to be open its mouth to snuff out the light of the force. To have good in one self was coming more hard to find or see in others in this galaxy.

Even so she stood by one of the most noble of man. Nothing would keep him from protecting those he care for so deeply. As she took a step down towards the gathering, she let her one hand rest upon Xander arm not in a away that look to be one of those seeing a couple so deeply in love with each other but one that held a respect something be on just the surface of a relationship. Even those it deep come to pass that there was a soft kiss place upon her cheek, like wise return.

It wasn't every day one would see a Zeltron in the way Maya had presented herself, as much more then what her race was known for the having fun, enjoying life. Sure she like to do that but she was raised differently. It was that set her a part from her fellow Zeltron at less most of them. Sure she started out as a smuggler but she had a code that it didn't get broken. To much respect for herself, sure she showed compassion to everyone and that love would flow out of her but not in ways that most would think of how a Zeltron empathy no it came out in her work and how she shared around her but giving of oneself in the healing arts, deeper then how she was rooted deeply to the planet of Voss to the very force itself she had the ability that most could't understand or reach with nature itself. That was where in laid her power, that deeply flow inside of her like a fountain. That was where the warrior waited as if herself being the mother protector of those that was good, to the force itself, to drive the darkness away.

Let it be known, for the use of this thread, that Coren Starchaser was using contacts from the Underground. That was what lead him to the Silver Jedi, members of the Omega Protectorate, like [member="Aeron Kreelan"], who he was hoping was going to show, and even found his way down the Mandalorian grapevine. The fact that his call brought this one person whom he could not identify with any of the groups excited it. It meant there were groups out there that were in the same mind set as he was.

Turning as the first few people entered the room, he smiled. The first arrivals were here. “Welcome, welcome. You’re first here, but I’m hoping for a few more to arrive. Please.” He waved at the table. “There was a bit of a donation from another group…” Yeah, he was looking at the Levantine Sanctum, still hoping some of them would arrive, like @Jericho. “To help these proceedings carry on.”

He took a second to watch the group, and as more would inevitably assemble, he nodded. “Right. So, I’ve called you all here for this meeting. There is a lot to discuss, but we’ll first start with names. If you’re from a group, I’d like to know who on the galactic dejarik board is with us. Against the Sith. Remember that, ladies and gentlemen. We’re here to change the galaxy.

“Right. Name’s Coren Starchaser, formerly of the Fringe Federation. Currently working on assembling this little group.” Were they mentioning the Underground? Not yet.

Better keep them secret. Keep them safe.

He was figuring more would come, and they could start with introductions. Coren was excited and he wasn't going to keep his people waiting, but he wasn't going to rush the guest list.

Rekha was almost a ghost at this function she was usually very open very chatty. She wasn't about to let Coren go into his lets destroy all Sith mode without her there. Rekha turned when she heard Corens voice, emerald green eyes showed how proud she was of him and his determination to eradicate the galaxy of evil. He was planning to go monster hunting and she was bringing a gun to bring them down with.

Security here was in place there shouldn't be any surprises additionally this meeting was only spoken of to the select few, the ones that shared Corens dream of a freeing the galaxy. Now. Would all these brave souls be able to provide what it took to reach that lofty goal.

Rekha began walking towards Coren.

Ana was always felt uneasy at this sort of thing. She felt out of place and negotiating wasn't really her thing. She liked action not sitting around chatting about it though she supposed that did come first. This conference of sorts had been called to bring those together whom would take action against the Forces of darkness. Ana was lucky to have her husband [member="Orick T'ane"] by her side here supporting her and this cause. They did much together but with a bigger group and more resources the possibilities were endless. She would love to see something become of this group but she had doubts as she was sure others did as well but she was here to observe and see what was proposed out of all of this.

As she entered the conference room she looked to all those gathered whom were mostly Jedi and a few smugglers. She stoodAna wasn't trying to intimidate anyone here just wearing her armor because she was a Mando. She also did like pretty dresses but not for this meeting, those she liked saving for date nights or vacations. This was important, this was business. Ana had clipped to her helmet to her belt so she could more easily talk to others if need be. Sighing she leaned back against the wall as [member="Coren Starchaser"] began to talk.

Before introducing herself Ana was going to wait for a few more people to show up. She knew that he was just excited to get started and so was she. The Sith needed to be as Prime whom had just taken one of the Mandalorian worlds.

Heavy boots would normally relay her entry; but sound dampeners were the kriffing chit. The black and gunmetal grey of her phrik and leather uniform made no mistake of the Pyre representative. She came alone; Omega Pyre might be a Private Mercenary Group but their wanderings throughout the galaxy were normal.

Seeing another wouldn't stir curiosity.

Some were permanent hires. Others were freelancers. At a first glance she could very well be either. Yet for those who knew her -- once she took off the black tee visor helmet -- they would recognize her two toned umber and blonde hair. The bright blue eyes. The scattering of blue ink celestial geometric tattoos at her neck.

It was Aeron Kreelan, Prex of Omega Pyre.

She came in the back, just as Starchaser was making his speell about wanting to change the galaxy. The snort that came out of her could not be helped. She heard that time and again in several other meetings. Internally, she would mull as she set her sights on the rest of those gathered here how long it will take before the arguments started.

Aela stayed silent.

She wasn't the most sociable person in the galaxy, nor was she one to introduce herself. It wasn't because she was shy, it was mostly because she preferred to watch and listen, observe. It made sense to her. Ninety percent of all talk was either useless or simple pleasantries. Aela had discovered that at an early age, and she had learned that staying silent held its rewards.

Now that was especially true.

Her eyes swept over those around her, orange suns staring at several of the figures. She didn't know any of them, probably didn't care to do so. Most of them were Jedi of some sort, all of them were lightsiders. That fact alone meant she tolerated them, and she had no doubt in her mind that if she got to know them, she would even like a few of them.

Yet it was important to hold her reservations. Aela was not here to make friends, she was not here to be nice. She was here as a representative of the Covenant, of a group of people trying to make a difference in the galaxy.

She had to remember that.

The Silver Jedi Padawan's grey-blue eyes scanned the room, taking in the sight of Jedi from all different sects filing in. As Coren talked about change, Chastity heard a disdainful snort. Tough crowd. Apparently there were some Jedi among them who held a more jaded world view. Chastity herself viewed the galaxy through the mist of youth and inexperience. There was no time to be jaded while genocide was being committed. Was it a naive way to think? Undoubtedly, but she would hold true to her convictions until she experienced otherwise.

She noticed that no one was speaking, so to break the awkward silence, Chastity piped up.

"My name is Chastity Lunelle and I come to you from the Silver Jedi of Voss." she said. When all eyes in the room turned to her, the young woman swallowed audibly, clearly intimidated by the spotlight. Eep. Those were alot of people looking at her. Clearing her throat, she hastily muttered out the rest of her words.

"Master Starchaser, I am just a Padawan so I cannot speak for the rest of my Order, but you have my lightsaber in this fight."

It was meeting time, and while Orick didn't know the full gist of the meeting, he knew enough to know that everyone there was one of those crazy force users. That fact that he was here was an interesting one, something he had been rolling around in his head since he had gotten the invite. Asking [member="Anastasia Rade"] made sense, she was a well connected Mandalorian, she was also powerful in her own right.

He stepped into the room and listened to the few people as they introduced themselves, it was an interesting group of people. He knew [member="Coren Starchaser"], had worked with him before, but the rest of the group was unknown, and judging by the way they were acting they all wanted to keep it that way.

He wasn't sure what to expect from the meeting, or who he was going to meet so he decided that 'tramp captain' was the look to he wanted to impart. Study but well worn clothes and his trusty spacer's boots. he stood just behind Ana as she entered, allowing her to block him from everyone else just a bit more. Caution was the key to this meeting succeeding and the overall tone of the room seemed rather mysterious, everyone sitting back and waiting for the other shoe to drop. He was never one to miss out on the chance to stare uncomfortably at others in a room full of tension, so he leaned against the wall and waited for something to happen.

Right. Good job, Coren Starchaser. You assembled a group in front of you. A silent group, but there were people who were coming from different walks of life. A Silver Jedi Padawan, defintitely some BAMF from the Omega Protectorate (maybe you’ll have to talk to her more, after), and at least a pair of Mandalorians. This was a good start. Then there was the silent first arrival and the Zeltron. Had a lot of people here. Had a lot of people that might not get along with their views. It didn’t matter if their dogma got along. Nothing like that mattered.

The Force was strong here, it was varied. It was light. They were all here on that side of the Force. Sure, Coren might not even agree, but he needed these people. The galaxy needed this group.

“Alright. I’ll get started then. I’ve reached out to all your groups, not to try to even unite the Light Side. No, I’ve heard reports on how well that’s gone ove ri the past.” Yeah, he did his research. The man looked between the members here, the ones that were screaming Force training and the ones that weren’t. “What I’m proposing, is a joint coalition. Against the Sith and their allies.” He looked over at his friend, Orick and then over to Chastity, the Padawan.

“Everyone can do something, from the people who might live within certain borders. To the ones who are still learning the Force’s plan for them.” Did he believe that the Force had a plan? No. “Its not even a battle of the balance of the Force. It’s a battle of survival. I’ve been on the ground at several worlds, I’ve seen what the Sith can do. They need to be stopped.

“Their allies are around the galaxy, if we can sow discord, that’s a good step, that’s something everyone can do. I’ve got plans of guerilla tactics. What I need are people who aren’t going to back down against the Sith. I need people who can help assemble fleets. The galaxy needs this.” Not him.

The galaxy needed the Sith destroyed.

There it is all laid out, they were going to start out small and work their way up. How did she feel about this? Hmmm.

She felt.

Antsy.

Determined.

“So you want to do some hit and run on the Sith to upset them? And then you’re hoping that later we’ve got them off balance enough to attack them as a combined fleet.” Her summation of what he had said, well at least the what she thought she heard.

That is what it sounded like.

“I’m in” She smiled he had to know she was in on this after all she was equally as crazy as the other June bugs running around. She could just be one more. Maybe she’d earn some real wings…maybe it was time for a new tattoo.

She nodded to Coren, now would others also follow, would they question, or would they do as many were doing, listen.

Coran Starchaser.

The name was quickly taken down, mentally dissected and given a critical eye. Who was Coren Starchaser? That was something that would need to be investigated. Still cloaked, a datapad with an encrypted holonet uplink would appear between armored hands.

What does the holonet have to say about him?

Let's find out.

Coming to a stop just before the meeting started looking at Xander as his commlink went off, listening in before kissing her on the lips. Knowing what every message he had gotten been important enough to have to go back to his ship. Knowing then that she was flying solo on this one. Also that the some on the jedi Councils [member="Coci Heavenshield"] knew that she was coming, would any others be there. More importantly then anything that she get there no more wasting time. Entering into the place to see a few already there. It seem that the meeting already had started. Seeing that Chastity was already that not that she knew a lot about her if anything. Giving her a bright smile. Before finding an empty seat.

Clearing her throat as it seem all eyes was upon her now. Not what she like to have was eyes on her. Giving off that peacefulness but how brightly she shined in the force itself. "Forgive me Ladies and Gentlemen I was held up, I'm Master Whightlight of the Sliver Jedi Order." as she then took her seat as she crossed her hands, more then anything speaking up. "What have I miss if someone would please, if I have missed anything." knowing that must be odd to see one like herself fully dress being that one could clearly see her being a Zeltron.
