- Affiliation: House Haskler of Anaxes and by extension, New Imperial Order [x] [x]
- Classification: Paratrooper infantry
- Description: The TodHusars are clad in a pitch black suit, reinforced by an armoured chestplate and an enclosed helmet, and decorated by the Iron Fist rosette tipically worn on the right shoulder, the whole attire forming the HK-01 "Steelfist" Jumpsuit. The TodHusars serve as the fighting force of the anaxsi House, and are comprised of the most capable warriors the Hasklers can field. Trained since their youth to become brutal and highly motivated combattants, the TodHusars are also educated to perpetuate the imperial-anxasi culture, and as such have no discomfort in having company of anaxsi and imperial citizens. - Combat Function: The TodHusars are an elite force of aerotransported mechanised infantry. Their versatile combat abilities allow them to be deployed during ground operations, but they are commonly assigned to security duties aboard the Azure Hammer Command, and more rarely, to boarding parties during which said Azure Hammer Command is engaged. They are a unique force as they are comprised only of anaxsi exiled and imperials devoted to the Hasklers's cause.
Outside of this capacity, the TodHusars are a rarity to see throughout the Empire, apart from diplomatic escort missions. Compared to the larger forces of the New Imperial Order, TodHusars are a rarity in New Imperial space. Outside of their niche aboard anaxsi vessels, these elite troops are barely found.
Strengths:- Hardened Combattants : Bathed in the militaristic culture of the imperial-anaxsi exiles, the future soldiers begin training at a young age. Their regular training includes, but is not limited to tactical exercises, precision shooting drills, close-combat training, and parachute management. At the age of eight, they know how to deassemble and reassemble a standard blaster rifle. At the age of ten, they manage to take out a close-combat opponent, and by thirteen, they can accompany older TodHusars on the battlefield. After this age, their training continues for seven years and is pushed to high standards before they integrate the TodHusars Corps at the age of twenty.
- Tactical Insertion : As per their nature, the TodHusars are specialised in parachuted operations, and are confident with the fact of jumping from heights to surprise the enemy by a fast deployment. Moreover, the anaxsi vessels provide tactical support in the form of light gunships and boarding crafts designed to carry the TodHusars safely across a space battle or a ground battlefield. As such, the TodHusars are able to insert themselves on a battlefield easily, avoiding the difficulties another, less-specialised unit would face.
- Weaknesses:
- Lightly Equipped : As an aerotransported unit, the TodHusars are unable to field heavy walkers or to have access to a plentiful of supplies. They rely on speed and surprise to overwhelm their enemy, supported on some occasions by AT-MPT Light Walkers [x]. The lack of supplies make them unfitted for attrition wars and motionless brawls. If the TodHusars cannot capitalise on speed and surprise to win a fight, then they will not be more effective than a lightly equipped militia unsuited for large scale engagements.
- Hotheaded : It is a common trait for anaxsi soldiers to be overconfident or arrogant, because they embody the new military pride of the planet. However, the nature of the TodHusars Corps shape its members into impassioned warriors, sometimes crazed about the orbital insertions they experience. As such, the paratroopers of the Corps are likely to follow their emotions and pride over the tactical common sense, espcially in tense situations where many TodHusars adopt a rash and suicidal behaviour.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Founded when the imperial-anasxi left Anaxes, the TodHusars Corps quickly grew in an effective fighting force capable of defending the assets of the noble house. After the Hasklers were officially backed by the New Imperial Order, the TodHusars managed to keep their independance but opened the recruitement to motivated imperials soldiers, devoted to the anaxsi's cause. Assigned to the protection of the Azure Hammer Command, the TodHusars shined during skirmishes against the Sith Empire, bringing some Force Users to their knees. After having made a reputation as a merciless fighting force, the TodHusars were reorganised into two regiments, in the Anaxsi Exiled Division roster force.
Since Gallius Orcana has taken command of the Azure Hammer Command, the TodHusars have accompanied him on the battlefield of Serenno, proving time and again their worth in the eyes of elite units such as the CompForce or the Stossjägers.
