The Toshiba is a ship based on the various space ships constructed for hutts during history. It started out as a caravel model but over the years it has been reconstructed into a far larger and much more bulky ship.
While resembling a Minstrel class yacht the ship has a lower combat profile then its cousins. The Toshiba is Sempra the Hutts personal yacht and serves as his mobile base of operations when he is in need of one. Inside the Toshiba is filled with compartments more resembling a cantina milieu then a war ship and it more often then not carries many guests seeking the hutts audience to strike a deal or offer their services.
This is simply a VIP flagship meant to carry an important hutt, initially meant to effectively serving as Sempras command ship. However, since his dreams about a huge hutt fleet under his command has been diminished over the years the ships purpose has undergone a change and the tactical deck has been rebuilt to serve as an office where he can meet his contacts and still uphold the classical hutt palace milieu that he has grown fond off. The most notable feature would be the luxury observation deck that also serves as Sempras throne room in the ship. Here food and beverage is served to all who has the good eye of the hutt. The air is heavy with smoke from the various spice pipes and other drugs that is a common feature on the ship.
The Throne is a modified hover sledge that can carry the hutt around most of the the ships interior. It si an open ship with very few narrow corridors leaving little true privacy to those aboard except for a few quarters meant for Sempras close associates and the ship captain. The observation itself deck is located on the top of the ship and its front can be opened leaving a huge panorama window offering a fantastic view of space when the hutt so desires.
The Toshiba is not made for war fare but now and then a casual pirate hit against less fortunate merchant ships is utilized. For that purpose she carries a squadron of fighters and two boarding shuttles.
Due to her heavy reconstruction she makes a poor flight in the atmosphere and is more or less a sitting duck while not in space.
The Toshibas secret weapon is her speed. While the armament was forced to see draw backs due to the hutts cheap sense of mind no expenses has been spared to offer the ship a quick getaway should the need arise.
