The Crow
Character
Carwion sat waiting in a bar on Nar Kreeta in its capital city. He had made a deal with a somewhat unknown person to acquire a ship by almost legal means, he chuckled to himself, of course it wasn’t legal. Why else would he need his newly bought slicer equipment, Flex-armor, interface visor and two ear-comlinks. He was really looking forward to getting going but he was still waiting for his partner. His partner was not yet late of course because Cawrion had arrived early to get the layout of the place in case his new “friend” was not trustworthy, although he was not worried about it, he had gotten in contact with though good and reliable sources, sources he didn’t necessarily trust but knew they didn’t want to betray him.
Cawrion had found 4 ships that would be good for what he had in mind, but they all had different levels of security and therefore also different levels of usefulness. But this decision was not only up to him, he had after all a partner this time, and if all went well they would probably end up working together for some time. Not usually his style but he missed to be able to actually trust anyone, never truly knowing that at least one person had his back around him. He hoped that this person could be him. But this had to wait, first the ship, then he would find out his partner’s trustworthiness. Cawrion leaned back in his chair in the dark corner of the bar and held his casually on the silenced Death Hammer just in case the guy meeting him was trouble or that he himself or the other had other enemies around looking to kill him. He had decided that even though he didn’t yet know the guy, he would at least try to keep him alive if anyone were to try anything. For that was after all the best way of starting a friendship.
