The Totally Very Legal Acquirement of a Ship (PM if you wish to join)

Seeing [member="Atin Vendet"] take his leave Cawrion nodded at the other two and left the room as well, trusting that they would show up the day after. Just as he imagined the others would, he also would be preparing for tomorrows job, going back to the room he had booked under a false name he disassembled and assembled his guns cleaning them and making sure they worked at optimal efficiency. It was getting dark now so he went out to just get some routine practice and perfection with his slicer tools, just making sure that all his equipment was on the up and up for the next day. After he finished he went back to his room and put in place his normal own security measures so that he wouldn’t be disturbed on the wildly unsafe planet. And he was reminded of his youth on Tatooine and how in a couple of days he would have his own ship where he could be sure of his safety through the nights, and true freedom.

Kes En'jusek

Cold Blooded Assassin.
Kes had sat in a small quiet area of the bar. Dressed in all black, armed to the teeth, the beautiful looking assassin was none of that on the inside. She had come here in search for a ship. Just a small one with room for one pilot and some cargo would be sufficient. Kes however already owned two ships. A Mandalorian Kom'rk-class fighter/transport and a rare Sajnen Starfighter R. So one would ask why she wanted yet another ship. To her the answer was simple, to others not quite, as it would be something she would never discus either way. But to put it mildly, she served and lived aboard a ship known as the MXS Morihei Ueshiba, and although it's captain the Jedi Knight Kixi Rajki was hardly ever there, it had been captained by its first officer Mako Zaneca. Kes couldn't stand either. In-fact if it weren't for her overall long term objectives, she would have killed both of them my now as she hated the both of them. Kixi believed Kes was her friend, something Kes would exploit to her benefit. Much of Kes' criminal activities which she committed behind the Jedi's back, she would do it during her shore leave. The problem was Kes wouldn't really ever go on shore leave. Instead she would go out to commit crimes of murder, espionage, and so forth. The problem with her two existing ships was that they had tracking devices. Removing them was no option either as that would attract immediate suspicion. So the solution was to acquire another ship in which no one would know about, keep it in one location, fly there in one of her other ships, and then go to wherever her criminal business would take her in the other ship.

As everyone was leaving the bar, Kes would get up from her seat and approach [member="Cawrion Chyrox"] just as he was about to leave too.

"Hi there, I'm interested in stealing the YX-1224 Bearclaw. I'm a highly trained assassin. I can do the job you require with 100% success as anyone that stands in the way, well lets say I can make sure they don't continue to bother me anymore permanently."

Kes was straight to the point. She didn't care if Cawrion thought nothing of her, as she could easily prove her worth and abilities if need be.

Azalyn left the bar quietly. She didn't mind that she'd been recorded, in fact she always made a point of giving her contractors the upper hand - it was the only way she could complete her missions without a pistol behind her very step of the way. She also didn't mind that she was only barely trusted; her career and reputation were built around fear and mystery and if she was immediately trusted every time she showed up for a job offer, she would never have earned her place in the black market. The only thing she hadn't liked was the idea that she ever acted like anything other than a professional, as her job was the only thing in her life and she didn't like others thinking that she was anything but what she was - a deadly assassin and criminal. Still, there would be time to prove that she had earned her reputation. Sighing with fatigue, she entered her ship and went straight to her weapons room.

Before Cawrion could leave he was approached by a woman in black, she was obviously armed. He cursed under his breath for he already knew why she was here, she was here for the job, just as the other two had found him. He reminded himself that he should have a somewhat different approach to setting up a job like this in the future. He would line up targets in the same matter as he had done now. However, instead of meeting people the night before the actual stealing happened he would set up a team some time before, to ensure that no last minute changes would be likely. Cawrion didn’t like surprises, but as the women came closer he looked up and smiled waiting for her to say her piece.

Cawrion looked at her for a bit as she finished, thinking over what the other would think of this last minute change, but then again who cared, a little extra backup never hurt and even with the new 5 way split the profit would still be high enough to afford his own ship with everything he had saved up. “Well, you obviously have contacts in good places. But let me ask you this. I already have two people on the Bearclaw, why should I add a third?”

Kes En'jusek

Cold Blooded Assassin.
Kes eyed Cawrion for a good long minute. His question was perfectly valid. He didn't know her, he knew nothing about her, her potential, her skill. She would just be like anyone else to him, boasting about their abilies with no proof to back up their claims.

"Because if things go wrong, I'm the one who can make you the difference. I'm quick, very quick and skilful, and...... I'm capable of killing Jedi. Infact I know of one, I've seduced her and controlled her many times, the only reason why I haven't killed her yet is because it doesn't suit me. If I can kill Jedi, I should be able to handle anything your job can throw at me don't you think?

Again there would be some silence. Cawrion had his doubts, which was perfectly normal.

"I see you doubt me, how can I prove it to you? I could kill someone at random for you, but well that might attract too much unwanted attention, however name the task, and I'll prove to you my worth."

[member="Cawrion Chyrox"]

Cawrion liked this one, he was happy to hear that she was more than willing to prove herself, this showed professionalism, many could learn from her when it came to first impressions and introductions. He looked around the bar, it wasn’t entirely necessary for her to prove herself, he did believe what she had told him. The claim that she had seduced a Jedi and could kill one was pretty high, but he had not seen any sign that she had been lying. But she had offered and he would gladly see how she operated, and if in fact she was as quick as she said. “So you claim you can slay a Jedi, then you must be very quick, agile and nimble to pull that off. Let’s test that shall we. The test is simple, you either pull it off and you get the job or you fail and it is quite likely that you end up in a gutter somewhere, thoughts?”

His plan was simple, as she would answer, he would interrupt her mid-sentence by throwing his dagger at her head. It was a simple trick, so that the other would be at least a little occupied, and since she had no reason to believe that this would be the test, she would be caught off guard. However, it didn’t really matter, because if she were as good as she said she was she would have no trouble either catching, avoiding or just dealing with the dagger flying at her.

Cawrion was indeed prepared to give her a go. As he spoke of his proposed test, Kes woiuld nod to acknowledge him. As he finished Kes would begin to answer his question. However Kes' peripheral vision was already fully stretched. From the moment she had approach Cawrion, she wasn't prepared to take any chances. As she was mid sentence she saw the slight movement of his arm and then hand. The concealed knife. Kes moved at lightening speed towards Cawrion. By the time he had retrieved the knife, Kes had moved in behind him with her strangling cord on his neck. Of course she wasn't going to kill him. After all this was supposed to be just a test to prove her worth. She whispered into his ear while still holding the cord to his neck.

"This is my favourite killing tool. I love to kill my victims up close and feel their life force drain away slowly. It gives me satisfaction and pleasure. A lot of pleasure actually."

She then gently kissed him on the side of the head, near the temple before releasing the cord form his neck and moving away from his back, and back around where she could face him again. She cranked her neck and spoke in a somewhat very low gentle but deadly sounding voice.

"So did I pass?"

[member="Cawrion Chyrox"]

Cawrion had barely cleared his knife when she already was holding him figuratively by his balls. Feeling a slight tingle as she talked and kissed the side of his head, for she was truly beautiful. He gave a slight cough as she removed the cord, then smiled at her, he was impressed, she may as well be the fastest one among them.

“Well you know how to have a good time, and if you are this good all the time, I will be wanting your number. I’m sure I’ll have more jobs in future where we can have one hell of a time” He thought of his last job at the Little Cabana Dive where he worked with wonderful people… and the women in front of him was sure to be just as entertaining to work with, ruthless, professional and efficient, just the way he liked it. “You of course passed with flying colours, you are very much hired, but before I go take care of some other business. What is your name, or what should I call you?”

[member="Kes En'jusek"]

Kes En'jusek

Cold Blooded Assassin.
Kes would smile and nod in acknowledgement as Cawrion would praise her skill. Her beauty would really show now, one almost finding it unimaginable how such a figure of beauty could be such a deadly killer.

"My name is Kes En'jusek, but you may call me just Kes. And I should probably know what your name is too, or at least what I should be calling you by?"

Kes would then put both her hands together and crack her fingers. She enjoyed hearing the sound that made, more because it reminded her of the sound of cracking bone when she would simply break someone's neck to kill them slowly.

"So for the job, where do I meet you tomorrow, and do you require that I bring anything else other than the obvious?"

[member="Cawrion Chyrox"]

As Cawrion praised her he saw that she turned even more beautiful, she reminded him of certain flowers like the Adenium Obesum that if handled incorrectly would take down even the strongest of men.

He smiles as she cracked her fingers, he had a small flash back to the man’s skull he had broken to pieces not long ago, good memories, fun times. Shrugging away the memory he looked Kes in her eyes and said “Alright then Kes, my name is Cawrion and you can call me what you like, if a nickname should occur to you feel free, make it a good one though” he winked at her “When it somes to the job, bring what you feel will aid you, some extra slicing equipment may be handy but other than that everyone should be good”

He threw her an earpiece “You, me and the Mandalorian that will be on your team have one of these, when me and my friend take our ship, fly out and meet you as you steal your ship, not sure how far you will have gotten, but we’ll be there if you need us. This has limited range, but when we get close, around a kilometre or two, we’ll be able to talk so that we’ll be aware as to where you’ll need us to be.”

He looked at her and smiled again “I’ll see you tomorrow then, I’m looking forward to work with you and I’ll make sure the others know of your involvement, they shouldn’t be to unhappy that ¼ just became 1/5 the profit from selling the ships”

"Pleased to meet you then Cawrion".

Kes would extend her hand out to shake his. Her hand would feel cold as he shook it. The same coldness that naturally surrounded her whole body. As he continued to speak he also handed Kes an earpiece and explained to her what it would be needed for. Kes would nod to confirm she understood everything.

"Okay then Cawrion. Umm Caw-ri-on". She then said his name slowly by the syllable.

"Your name has a nice ring to it. No need for any nicknames. Well not yet. I like the sound of Cawrion. Oh and just one last thing. I would like to keep the ship I steal. The Bearclaw. It will mean I get less credits if any in the end, but I need the ship."

She would then give her new boss a look that revealed a facial expression of pure hatred and evil.

"I need another ship because that Jedi tramp who thinks I'm her friend, and that I promise I will kill her slowly and painfully one day when I'm no longer in need of her services, keeps a tracker log on my current ships. If I can have the other ship, I can solve a great many problems. Anyway no need to bore you any further with my problems. I will see you tomorrow at the rendezvous point as planned. And one last thing, who is that Mando that will be on my team? I don't mind working with a Mando. They're type, especially their bounty hunters I admire."

[member="Cawrion Chyrox"]

Cawrion smiled again, he did like his name but he looked forward to the day someone gave him a good nickname, for one does not give that to yourself, a name is given, it is earned.

As she told him her true intention with ferocity his smile wavered, but returned quickly and bigger. He looked at her “You keeping the ship won’t be a problem, I’ll take the lost profit out of my share to give to the other. In return I only ask one thing, you have skills and power of great use in areas where I am somewhat lacking. So in return you will owe me a favour, to be called upon at my leisure, you will get plenty of time in advance of said favour I might add so it won’t interfere with your behavioural pattern with your Jedi “friend”, deal? The Mando is called Verd Skirata, from the very short background check I ran he is a good pilot and a good shot, not much I know about his previous jobs, but you’ll get to ask him questions when you are on your way to you target”

Kes En'jusek

Cold Blooded Assassin.
Kes listened attentively as Cawrion would allow Kes to keep one of the ships they intended to steal, but with a certain condition. Kes would nod in approval and acceptance.

"That my friend is an acceptable deal. As long as you give me advance notice, then it will not be a problem at all."

Kes would then form a fist with her left hand and squeeze it angrily with a similar facial expression that followed.

"I foresee that they will involve permantly silencing people as well, thus I look forward to any future jobs or favours you may ask of me."

She then nodded to Cawrion as gesture of thanks before leaving.

"I will see you tomorrow, as well as Ver d Skirata. I'm greatly looking forward to it as well."

[member="Cawrion Chyrox"]

Cawrion nodded “I will see you tomorrow then, and I also look forward to working with you some time in the future”

Cawrion sighed as she left, this had been a longer day then expected, but very worth it so far, now the only thing that remained was the actual job. It shouldn’t be hard but there could always be kinks in his plan. He pulled out a communicator and gave the other three a heads up about the small change in plans, including the ship change and that it wouldn’t make any difference to their profit from the job. Smiling to himself he left the bar and went to his room, finally.

[member="Kes En'jusek"]

In the morning Cawrion woke early, the purpose of doing this in daylight was that the space ports would be full of activity and at the private hanger the guards would be relaxed, having their main attention on the main entries of the hanger, because usually the threat of theft was at night, not in the morning. So they wouldn’t expect a thing, and that would give them a nice advantage. He sat down at the same booth at the same bar, it was a sad sight at this early hour, there were a few patrons, people with mediocre problems and mediocre lives. There Cawrion sat waiting for the others to arrive.

Dressed in all black and with a mask covering all but her eyes, Azalyn left her ship early in the morning. Her jacket was lined with knives and other small weapons of infinite variety, and her favourite pistol was strapped to her leg.

"Good morning," she said quietly as she approached [member="Cawrion Chyrox"] discreetly. "I see I'm early. That's fine." Although she had certainly made an impression on the team the night before, she was not sure it had been a good impression as such. She'd decided to ensure that today she left with not only several thousand credits, but promise of more jobs in the future.

Kes En'jusek

Cold Blooded Assassin.
Kes woke up early. She had slept in a small rented apartment for the night as the ship she had ventured in had been safely parked in a high security space port in a nearby world. She had hitched a ride here as she didn't want her movements tracked by a certain individuals in which she greatly despised. Her intent was to get her new ship and keep that stationed at that very same space port her other one was currently in now. That would then become her new point of where she wound go to to change ships and go about her own criminal activity and unsuspecting to others in her circle of acquaintances.

She didn't take long to get changed and arm herself. She wore all black, with long black boots. However she choose not to wear any mask, nor gloves. She preferred not to, as if she decided to kill anyone up close, she preferred them see her face as the last person they would see, and she found it a lot easier to strangle her victims as well with her bare hands. However she would still be like a walking armoury once she was ready. Blaster on one leg, another on her belt, plus several other weapons had been attached to her belt. A knife, several poisonous darts, her favourite strangling cord and a couple of thermal grenades. Lastly on her back, she would attach her katana and be on her way back to the bar to meet [member="Cawrion Chyrox"].

As she made her way there, she would get the occasional stares and glances from others, a perfectly normal circumstance given her attire. Finally she arrived and would greet her boss. She noticed someone else there already too. It was Azalyn, someone else from the team Kes would presume by the way she was dressed.

"Hi there, I'm Kes and I guess I'll be working with you."

Kes would extend a cold hand at her. They would be after all on the same team, so she thought better to get off to a good start rather than a bad one. However she would watch her carefully. She knew too well that she couldn't trust anyone.

[member="Atin Vendet"], [member="Verd Skirata"], [member="Azalyn Falconer"]

Azalyn regarded the newcomer curiously and shook her hand. "I also have a name but to you I'm Raven. Pleased to meet you." She turned to [member="Cawrion Chyrox"]. "In fact, I don't think we ever even exchanged names - or codenames - last night. Anyway, I see we have a new teammate. I'm guessing the pay is lower, but it'll keep me fed for a month or two and fix my ship so I can't complain." All the same, she was interested to know how [member="Kes En'jusek"] had made it onto the team. Judging by the way the pair were acknowledging each other, it hadn't been as eventful as her own recruitment - Azalyn's best guess was seduction, as she knew it to be a powerful tactic that had worked for her several times and with her face showing it seemed like Kes could do a pretty good job of it. Given the intel she'd received last night - a whole ship being given to the newest member of the team just like that - she knew that whatever the assassin had done, she'd done it well. Very interesting. She would have to keep an eye on the woman.
