- Structure Name: The Tower
- Classification: Main HQ
- Location: Central District, Eve, Scintilla
- Affiliation: Agents of Chaos
- Accessibility:
Though anyone within the city proper of Eve can see the Tower from many different spots, the Tower itself is not easily accessible. There is a lobby into which almost anyone may enter, and an elevator that permits those with permission into the restaurant at the top of the Tower, but beyond that it is a question of clearances, security, and connections. Those who are not part of the Agents of Chaos will never be granted access unless summoned for a meeting or invited to the restaurant area, and even the Agents of Chaos' movement within the Tower is restricted unless they are in sufficiently high positions.
- Description:
The Tower is the tallest building on Eve, and can be seen for miles around the capital city. The Tower has a single large base that splits into two towers after a hundred or so levels, yet it is referred to as singular. Though its base is a rectangle and not a perfect square, the middle point of the rectangle is the precise middle point of the disc of Eve (more explanation on this can be found here). Around the structure are giant vines that were initially added for decoration, yet have since turned into something that extreme sports lovers enjoy sliding down on, despite the obvious dangers. The lobby of the Tower is open for almost all, but to gain entry to the parts inside the actual building, one must either have special clearance or be an invited guest for whom the paperwork was dealt with in advance. The bureaucracy is handled by a small army of office droids, which are the reason that despite the security measures in place, the Tower is usually bustling with people. At the top of the Tower, where bridges from both ends meet in the middle, is a five star restaurant that caters only to the wealthy, the privileged, and their guests. During times of celebration, the Tower's vines light up with fairy lights, their colors adjusted for the occasion.
Observation Deck
The two tops of the Tower after its split serve as observation decks, where those who've received entrance to the Tower can enjoy the view of Eve. Although Eve is a sphere and not a city on an actual planet, the inside of it has been designed and crafted to look and feel like standing on a true planet, successfully working on all those who have human and near-human like senses aside for a very few species, and droids.
The Restaurant
Although there are many eating facilities in the Tower, there is but one that is called The Restaurant, and that is the one that resides on top, with a bridge from every split part of the Tower leading to it. The Restaurant is considered to be on par with some of the greatest restaurants in the 'verse, and a team of marketers are currently working on getting intergalactic recognition as such. Despite this, however, the Restaurant is closed off to most people, and even among those who regularly frequent the Tower, only a few have access to it, as the Restaurant is only open to those with special clearance (Discordia (who is the head of Agents of Chaos), Agents of Chaos Firsts, Agents of Chaos Heads of Division, and a few more) and their guests.
Lavish SuitesThe Tower is not a place of residence, and yet there are two areas specifically for special guests or special occasions. Twelve grand suites exist, all with personal kitchens, Jacuzzis, beds large enough to house several Hutts and still have ample space for each, living rooms, working rooms, dining rooms, and more. These suites are intended for very special guests of the Agents of Chaos, though there are rumors that they have also been used to keep prisoners in. The suites are located near the top of the Tower's buildings, and for safety concerns, their windows do not open. The Agents of Chaos themselves are not permitted to lodge there, unless they are the guests of the guests.
Capsule Suites
To say that these are 'suites' would be misleading, for each section truly is just a capsule in which people up to a certain size can sleep in. These are not meant as permanent residences, and are mostly used by the workers of the Tower who work around the clock and sometimes need a place to crash between shifts.
Discordia's Wing
No one is quite certain in which of the Tower's parts it is, but it is rumored that a specific floor is entirely sanctioned off because it is the Wing of Discordia, the place where Discordia, the head of the Agents of Chaos, resides. No one has ever seen her eat, drink, or sleep, and only a handful have actually seen her at all and not as an aloof visage from a distance.
Entertainment Areas
The Tower includes a theater hall for stage performances, a few cantinas, high end boutiques, and many different restaurants at varying levels.
Division HQ's
At present, the main offices for each of the Agents of Chaos vision, can be found in the Tower. Different Division HQ's are on different levels, and each division has at least a dozen or so levels of its own which include training rooms, mess halls, libraries, study areas, meeting halls, armories, and more.
Maximum
Lobby- Armed guards, both droid and organic
- Various different kinds of scanners for visitor.
- Wall mounted and hidden inside the walls turrets.
- Controlled Demolitions Charges on load bearing columns for self-destruction.
- The building is literally full of combatants with clearance to carry their own weapons inside.
The Tower, placed in the exact center of Eve, is proof how quickly Discordia, the leader of the Agents of Chaos, can get certain projects done. All agree that something of the scope of this building ought to have taken a year if not more than that, yet Discordia had managed to move the correct people and found the balance for the marginal revenue of the constructors to not drop so that the Tower was completed within months. Paid workers, slaves, external experts, not a single coin was saved on building the Tower and all that it holds.
Visitors who arrive at the Tower, however, would find themselves extremely disappointed, for unless they are invited, they will never see more than the lobby, which, while very nicely decorated, pales in what the rest of the building has to offer.
At present, there are still portions of the Tower that are empty, but will fill as the Agents of Chaos grow and continue to expand.
The base of the building, before it splits, is mostly dedicated to the Eve city workers; clerks, council people, daily workers, secretaries, and everything else that is needed on the civilian municipality side to keep the city running, because while ideas are a dime a dozen, it takes many skilled hands to run such a large and magnificent city without running it financially into the ground.
After the building technically split into two though, is almost entirely Agents of Chaos territory. From the division HQ's to other services and facilities they might require, the Tower has made the attempt to cater to them all. True, in some instances this is not enough, yet it served as a strong base while other buildings and locations were being created.
And while the history of the Tower is incredibly short, no one is hoping that its future will be long – instead, they are working hard to ensure that it is.
