The mysterious castaways who crash-landed over five years ago on Croa, have found powerful sanctuary and the means of survival amongst the primitive, and superstitious Croatans. With the thirst to return to the stars, restlessness led to darkness, which sparked the events of the First Great War. The First Great War marked the first outbreak of hostilities between the clans. The First of the Dark Jedi, and progenitor of Clan Sadow sought to subjugate the superstitious Croatans in an effort to install himself and his fellow survivors as ruthless overlords. This drove the off-worlders into a civil war, with different Clans rising up and warring on one another for the sake of civilization
While the exact details pertaining to the conflict may have all been lost to time, it is known that a treaty was established which brought the Lost Tribe to life. The three Clans would coexist, as they each saw a nearly unending supply of converts, and the continued ability to protect their world. Though the motivations of the Dark Jedi were suspect, it is still unknown on whether they all thought it possible to congregate their rival Clans in one place before annihilating them, or perhaps desired a foil with which to weed out weaker Clans.
Since then, the Tribe has survived...until now

5 years Later, the Tribe has come together and established the Tribunal; they govern from Karakoa Abbey. Still in recovery mode after their initial bout, they are suddenly hit with a deadly virus that has caused their numbers to dwindle even further. The Croa tell the tale of the ancient Shaman, Tetsuba, who placed a curse on his burial site. If it were to ever be disturbed, the curse would be unleashed upon the inhabitants of Croa as punishment.
There a few members of the larger tribe who have been miraculously unaffected by this disease. The Tribunal calls on those few from each Clan to ban together and travel to The Tomb of Tetsuba and find evidence of whatever may be causing the sickness to spread.
