- Unique Fighting Style: With its unique design, Abaddon enters combat with a specialized combat style named Luyasr' Delsa (Lovers' Dance), fighting with a myriad of Force empowered combo attacks of strength and speed, feigns to throw off his foes, and so on to not only defeat his enemies but utterly destroy them and break them down on a spiritual and confidence level.
- Force Imbued Blade: An ancient weapon of Heavensteel imbued with both the Light Side and the Dark Side, The Twilight Sun possesses preternatural cutting abilities and damage resistances. As is typical with Force imbued weapons, The Twilight Sun is capable of slaying Force Spirits while the preternatural cutting ability allows them to slice through and pierce most known materials with one attack. Alongside these standard traits of the Light Side, the Dark Side of the Force permeates this blade to such an extent that strikes create a flaming shockwave effect similar to thermal detonators.
- Adaptability: Due to their unique design, the spear can be used for either CQC dueling or throwing attacks. With his immense power and dexterity, Abaddon is capable of using the blade to clash against the most impeccable weapons his enemies have at their disposal or even throw it at perfect accuracy to take down a speeding TIE fighter in the skies.
- Conflict and Overload: To wield and channel the blade's dual alignments simultaneously requires a great deal of physical strength and mental fortitude to handle the immense strain of spirit and body. The unorthodox and overpowering amalgam places great pressure upon the stability of Abaddon's sanity and body, forcing him to utilize greater restraint and self-empowerment to keep himself from falling to the chaos. The effects of this pairing, if not resisted safely and successfully, can often leave Abaddon out of action for days, sometimes weeks on end due to the damage sustained.
- Ranged Weaponry: Due to its design, The Twilight Sun is utterly incapable of blocking ranged weaponry, forcing Abaddon to have to constantly close the gap to avoid sustaining persistent ranged assaults.
- Voidstone: As the weapon is imbued with the Force, it is highly susceptible to the effects of Voidstone which can cancel out its effects and render it a simple weapon with no special bonuses.
- Collateral Damage Risk: The flaming shockwave effect of the blade has an innate risk of damaging both wielder and ally, making it dangerous to even use, which means that Abaddon must frequently choose to keep a distance from his allies so as to avoid hurting and possibly killing them.
Discovered in his vault of ancient weapons, armor, and artifacts, The Twilight Sun currently serves as Abaddon's primary weapon following the loss of his vibrolance to Irveric Tavlar during their brief but impactful duel. The power and perpetually sharp edges of the blade proved useful in helping Abaddon establish his Consortium, eradicating any and all opponents with ease and brutality. With its sleek spear design and exuding a visible aura whenever in use, The Twilight Sun has thus far proven to be Abaddon's most dangerous weapon next to Vuain Sefas, capable of wiping out entire squads in a matter of seconds.
Curiously, upon fully studying this blade during his rare free time, Abaddon discovered that it was not only empowered with both sides of the Force (an immensely difficult feat that very few had ever accomplished) but was crafted out of Heavensteel, which only exists on his homeworld of Noxis.
Traveling to this planet for the first time in decades, Abaddon discussed the blade with the scholars of his people and it was quickly revealed that a man by the name of Dayair Laiul had visited the planet some millennia prior and crafted it solely for the purpose of locking it away. It was at this moment that the first memories of his past life came to the light, the mere mentioning of his prior name sparking to light a journey to remember what he was before being named Kascalion Giedfield. And so, in that respect, this weapon thus far serves as Abaddon's most important weapons to date.
