[The Underworld]We are all brothers and sisters in the Darkness (Children of Korriban recruitment.)

Nar Shaddaa

The time for set up was over. The experiment had been an success, and without any curious eyes noticing his brainwashed and absolutely loyal followers had mixed back into the population. At first only a handful listed to them, but over time more and more flocked to the organisation that officially claimed to be just another religion. From the outside it was hard to tell otherwise, as Abyss and his men had made sure to leave barely any trace of what had happened in that warehouse in the lower levels of the smuggler moon.

They made the same promises any cult made: safety, equality, and happiness. The promise of being more than just another name in the galaxy, being part of something larger than live. The lost souls always were easy to persuade by these kinds of things, in hopes of actually finding them. And with any day they did spend with other children, the ideas and rules burned more into their minds, with any day of isolation from their past lives, they became more and more alike those that actually had been brainwashed. They have their money to them, their lives, their influence until all belonged to Darth Abyss and not to them.

Yet an operation like this couldn't be run by one man alone. Also not by two, by Abyss and his apprentice. Not by his team of ex intelligence agents. They all where assets so valuable that Abyss would take them with him on his missions, instead of wasting their talents by governing his organisation when he was not around. For that task others would be needed.

The bar was run down, shabby and dirty, like most on nar shaddaa. It was also a wells known place for criminals looking for hire. One of Abyss men had taken place on a table in the edge of the room. It wasn't common knowledge what they were doing, but Abyss contacts in the underworld made sure that word was passed to the right candidates. They were looking for those individuals with special talents. Those gifted, with the force or something else. Those smart enough to understand that the children weren't about territories, about open power and conflict. Those who knew that to survive a group like the children had to live deep under the surface, even more than most other criminal groups.
