Darth Voracitos
Chaos-God of Gluttony
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
[*]Accessibility: As to be expected, the central entrance to the first vault is guarded deep in the catacombs of the Sith Lord's Palatial Bastion on the surface of Lorrd, exiled to a private and artificial lake just outside of the capital city. With both technological and alchemical mechanisms of gaining entrance to even this first of many vaults, it would take no small miracle and the will of the force itself to gain legitimate entrance into the Vaults of Gluttony. To gain entry by force into the Vaults, however, presents its own challenges that often become lethal, and with rapidity. It is expected that no one but the Lord of Gluttony himself, and perhaps, a construct of his will, is to gain direct access to the Vaults of Gluttony.
[*]Description: To describe the Vaults of Gluttony, is to describe its contents, which are so varied and arcane as to be practically unknowable by anyone except its notorious owner, who is not privy to expose his own secrets. The doors which mark the beginning of one vault and the entrance to the next, however, are the very products of opulence and wealth, sometimes even worth more than the contents they contain... to certain untrained eyes. The vaults stretch for kilometers, with dangers both inherently designed, while others merely 'happy little accidents' that come as a by-product of each Vaults contents. It would take many generations of dungeoneers to delve into its deepest vault, and by the time they got there, they may have wished they never started the journey at all...
NEXUS EFFECTS
Hunger and fullness, poverty and opulence, those who walk the city streets above the heavy darkness below will sense in themselves an attraction to their own tendencies. The hungry shall be the hungrier, the desperate more desperate still, and the depraved shall see no end to their twisted desires. Likewise, the comfortable shall find the means to greater comfort, and the wealthy will seek more wealth still, at the expense of everything else. The Vaults attract in the living their own exaggerated behaviors until those behaviors are all that define them. The darkness that pervades the capital city of Lorrd and its surrounding villages and towns is one of insidious infiltration, which twists all behaviors to ones of ever-increasing consumption, in whatever form it may take.

SECURITY
Overall Security Rating - Maximum
With biographical keys, alchemical ciphers, both technological and alchemical guards, to any number of dangers that could arise from the varied and unpredictable contents of each Vault, and nigh-indestructible enclosures, to enter the Vaults of Gluttony by force is to invite punishment and death. Even to those who are given explicit permission to enter, may not see the light of day for weeks or months, and with no guarantee of finding food or water, they may never see the light of day at all.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Vaults of Gluttony, are something of an emergent phenomenon. In the youth of Darth Voracitos in the wake of the 400 years darkness and the rise of the First Sith Empire since the Gulag Plague lifted itself from the galaxy, the Sith Lord came to control the planet of Lorrd as the capital of his sector of authority. This appointment was continued with his rise to prominence, becoming the Pillar of Knowledge. The Sith Lord appropriated the vast libraries and universities of Lorrd, and studied its long history, enslaving the population almost wholesale across the planet for any of his most basic desires. Even as the Lord of Gluttony rose to greater Imperial Authority as the Sith Emperor, his wealth accrued to such heights he needed some place to keep it safe and secure in his own hands.
Lorrd was a natural choice, and below his own Palatial District, at least one generation of people were sent into the depths of Lorrd, digging and constructing a network of Vaults exclusive to the use of their Master. As one workforce completed one vault, Voracitos would devour them in the force, leaving no one to witness its direct construction. As slaves lived and died beneath the surface of Lorrd city, the Sith Lord began to move on to more technological, and alchemical methods of labor for his secret Vaults. Automating the process to continue on its own without the need for intervention for many years to come. Locking the Palatial Vault upon becoming Emperor, it came as a stroke of fate that the stores of the Sith Emperor would not be plundered upon his death and deposition, try as many would.
Upon returning to life, and founding the Coven of Gluttony, construction (which had stalled for lack of resources) would resume once again under his discretion, and become filled little by little by the trinkets and artifacts of all his servants scavenging the galaxy for every iota of dark side energy or lore. Whatever was significant, was to be placed in the vault. His stores grew out of proportion to the point, even Voracitos was not wholly aware of its exacts contents.
Over time, even as his Coven faithfully served him and the empire, the presence of the Sith Lord became progressively muted, delving deeper into his own shadow, until the only hint of his touch on the galaxy, is the mysterious vile caverns below the surface of Lorrd City...
- Intent: To use up a reward acquired earlier this year before it expires (again, heh). Also as a semi-quasi means of explaining where Voracitos might be hiding now that I am not actively roleplaying any more (foreseeably indefinitely).

Medium (An area that can be renewed/realigned but not destroyed, can be expansive and powerful.) - Untold riches, inscrutable objects of power, unknowable relics of forbidden knowledge, are only the footnotes to the total collection the Sith Lord Darth Voracitos has amassed over two lifetimes and decades of time. With his network of servants and spies in the form of the Coven of Gluttony, his stores have triplicated since returning from death, and the choking darkness that follows him has stuck to the walls of these many vaults. Starting within the Palace of Lorrd digging deep and wide across the city, and extending beyond it for some measure of distance, the Vaults leave a dreary presence upon the surface dwellers.

POINTS OF INTEREST
- The Palatial Vault - The first Vault of Gluttony, hidden and guarded, within the most secluded and most guarded structure on Lorrd, containing all of the collected wealth and treasures that Lord Voracitos could not have the heart to be rid of. This vault of all the vaults, is the one of least importance to the Dark Lord, containing only the wealth of his material existence. That, however, should not make one dismissive of its security, as the first vault to all of his treasures, artifacts, and secrets, it is among the most secure.
- The "Core" Vault - Deep below the Palatial Vault in the center of the spidery structure of the Vaults of Gluttony, the Core is a truly massive dungeon, larger than even the Palace itself above it. Within it is neither riches nor artifacts, but truly monstrous nightmares of the darkside. From Terentatek to captured Leviathan youths, the literal beasts below the surface of Lorrd's capital city are something to be fearful of should the Core ever be breached.
- The Penultimate Vault - The last vault before the Final Vault, this is a dungeon which holds within it the most dangerous artifacts Voracitos has ever come into possession of, some within this collection even he himself fears, and dares not to touch them again.
- The Final Vault - The very last structure built in the entire network of the Vaults of Gluttony, from which the dark nexus of the force pulsates from like a beating heart. It is speculated that this final structure, is the work of Voracitos himself to breach into the netherworld of the force through arcane artifacts, either collected or constructed by himself and his sorcery. Or, it may be some form of a vessel to tether his existence to the material world even in death (this time for sure!). Whatever the source of it is, the only certainty is that it is left unfinished, yearning for completion that may never come.
