The red and yellow starfighter soared over the cold world of Rhen Var. Below was a wilderness of ice and snow, with a few structures that had been abandoned eons ago. The starfighter turned on its floodlights and landed near a faciltitu, the ground of thick snow hiding rocky terrain below that caused the landing gear to scrap and alarms to sound. Aleem switched the alarm off and stepped out on to the ramp. His red robes were bright in backdrop of the white world about. He stepped into the ice, and his feet sank to his knee caps. He felt the chill and marched to the facility that was brass metal shelters. He opened the heavy door, inside nothing but shadow. Igniting his crimson saber, the room flooded with light. Inside was cans and refuse, some blankets soiled by a leak of water on the roof. Aleem looked around, searching. There was nothing. All the structure afforded was some shelter from the elements. Aleem stepped outside once more, his saber deactivated and slung on his belt. Looking past his ship he saw the mouth of caves in the distance. Taking a backpack from the ship, he slung it on his back and began the long march towards the caves. The path was perilous with deep snow pockets that fell for twenty meters. Much was concealed in the white powder, and ultimately he had to rely on The Force to sense danger.
Alwem reached the cave mouth, which looked like the mouth of a Rancor, jagged rock stalactites formed on the cieling and rocky floor. The Young Jedi carried on, into the dark, where he reached a great system, with an opening above, white light pouring in. Aleem stood there a moment and then saw someone. A man with grey hair and in tan robes, he motioned and disappeared into a dark arch. Aleem followed.

Aleem followed the figure deep into labyrnith of cave systems till he came to room of rock that had half pillar and holocron shining upon it. The Light Sith approached and felt in the Force that it was locked. Placimg his hand upom it, he closed his eyes and reached out. The cube of blue began to glow and parts rearranged till now it was completely illuminated. Put of holocron a figure emerged in a cape and hood.
“Blood of my blood.”
The words echoed in the cavern.
Aleem watched as the figure grew to full size.
“You have found my holocron, and awoken me.”
Aleem removed his red hood.
“Ancestor.. Ulic.”
The Hologram Jedi smiled.
“So it is true. The Qel Droma line lives.”
Aleem nodded.
Ulic removed his hopd, her grey hair and white sideburns mode pronounced in blue light.
“I sensed Aleema was hiding something from me. I should have pressed her.. perhaps had I known my own child.. things would have been different.”
Aleema stood marveling how The Force and technology preserved his ancestor, allowing the dead to visit the living.
“Ancestor.. I have come a long way to commune with you, to learn from you.”
Ulic’s Holocron self crossed his arms.
“I am only a shadow, an echo of Ulic. I can impart only so much. If you seek a greater communion, you will need to open the Netherworld and let his Ghost cross the chasm.”
Aleem sighed.
“How can I achieve this?”
Ulic’s Hologram walked a little.
“There are different ways, some darker than others. What is important is you count the cost.”
Aleem nodded.
“Tell me everything.”
