- Description: Leos knows that in this galaxy he is not safe. People want to kill him at every turn just because he's a Sith. If he were to die without finishing his tasks, and seeing to it that his children could carry on the family mission, well, it wouldn't be good. On a visit to Mirial he approached several former soldiers with the prospect of serving as his guard. After lengthy conversations with each man and woman comprising the unit, they were recruited on to serve as his protectors. Their training was long and grueling. He hired former military advisers from various worlds to train them to be the best soldiers they could be. While doing so, he tasked some of his engineers to design them weapons and armor that would protect them on the battlefield. The Vermilion Armor was crafted from stolen Beskar, and complete with the equipment to enhance their communication skills, improving their effectiveness on the battlefield. Because of the nature of the armor, however, material was limited, and only enough suits to outfit the platoon were made, limiting the number of Guard members there can be. As they are only trained for infantry combat situation, they are not suitable for pilots or underwater adventures.
