STRENGTHS
Hose It Down: Designed for rapid successive shots. When set to full auto, the Veshet can empty its magazine in just under five seconds.
Something Up Your Sleeve: Due to the compact, foldable wrist mounted design, the Veshet can easily be concealed in the user’s sleeve, set to rapidly deploy with a sharp flick of the wrist. The addition of a reflec coating and universal jammer in the wrist harness of the device allows it to fool most sensors.
WEAKNESSES
Swarm Tactics: As mentioned, the Veshet is built for speed, not power. The individual stopping power of each shot is relatively weak compared to your average blaster.
Better Check Those Body Checks: While nifty, the reflec coating and universal jammer will only help avoid cursory sensors and low level / hands off inspections. A high grade military sensor suite or competent body search will ruin this particular trick.
DESCRIPTION
The Veshet was primarily designed for those skulduggery types, taking into account their need for both stealth and versatility. Allowing them to throw a bit of general mayhem into the works when backed into the corner.
With that in mind, the weapons themselves are made a reinforced form of duraplast for both the simple rugged durability and sound dampening effects it affords. During the testing phase, the barrels were quickly swapped out for machine forged dallorian alloy counterparts, however. This was to help them withstand the high temperatures generated by the weapon’s own full auto function and avoid any warping. Each weapon is further coated with reflec polymer to minimize their sensor profile. A small universal jammer has also been installed in the wrist mount device to further help keep it under the radar while folded.
To deploy the weapon, the user merely needs to flick their wrist outwards sharply to disengage the lock. The patented mechanism will then unfold and deliver the blaster into their awaiting hand in short order. When spent, or no longer necessary, it can be retracted by simply engaging the weapon’s safety.
