DESCRIPTION
The Visitor is a quiet, comfortable Jedi enclave in miniature, suitable for a hermit who likes his alone time but can appreciate company in moderation.
  • Antique Jedi heritage tapestries line the walls of several rooms, including a small library.
  • The Visitor has a modest but diverse collection of obscure Jedi training and expeditionary gear, from Padawan's Traps and Dantooine Spheres to mental mazes and a moth-eaten Robe of Remembrance.
  • Quill has set aside one plain room, a disused cargo hold, for lightsaber practice against different kinds of training droids.
  • A Force detector and blood test equipment let Quill test others for Force potential.
Quill wasn't the ship's first owner. In fact, he found it drifting in deep space, caught in a strange Force effect that called him. He learned that the ship had belonged to a member of an ancient, obscure tradition called the Mist-Weavers, who were capable of spinning the fabric of reality itself into tangible threads. The ship's owner, a Zabrak woman named Sinchra Jole, had passed into the Force while trying to mist-weave a sort of stasis effect so she could endure until help arrived. The Visitor had been drifting for at least fifteen years, but only five years had passed inside. Quill felt the last fading touch of Jole's spirit as she drifted into the Cosmic Force. She asked that he use the ship the way she used to: as a wandering place of thought and spirituality, providing shelter for fellow travelers. Quill felt some reluctance about the 'fellow travelers' part, but accepted Jole's offer before she vanished into the Force.
