- The Voidstar is outfitted with all the features and facilities one would expect of a vessel of its size and purpose, among them:
- Encrypted Communications Suite - HoloNet+ (DarkNet, MedNet, KPLink, etc.) & Long-Range Subspace Transceiver.
- Antisepsis Fields and Related Technologies.
- Full Mind-Machine Interface Integration.
- Hypermatter Annihilator (Coaxium).
- Bastion Protocol: By diverting power from its weapons and any nonessential system, the Voidstar is able to strengthen its shields and activate a power-hungry Anticoncussion Field, the combination of allows it to tank enemy fire like a ship five times its size... for a while, anyway.
- SLAM Drive: By rerouting power from its manoeuvring thrusters and any nonessential systems, the Voidstar is able to accelerate to immense speeds, allowing it to outrun all but the fastest of interceptors.
- Outfitted with the most sophisticated Electronic Countermeasures Suite ever produced by Arctrus Astronautical, the Voidstar is able to fool virtually anything but dedicated anti-stealth sensors into reading wrong or no information. So sophisticated is this suite, tests have shown it to be able to scrape the hull of one of the Erakhian Defence Fleet's Battleships without being detected - even when detected, it makes sensor readings unreliable and targetting locks all but impossible. Supplementing these capabilities are a long range of dubious, if not downright illegal, aftermarket additions, including a Transponder Code spoofer capable of generating false transponder codes and a hull with chameleon-like properties that, when activated, can make the ship nearly invisible - the hull was even studded with numerous holoprojectors, for when one really needs to look like something else - say, a medical corvette, or perhaps an asteroid.
- The Voidstar is outfitted with a high-end Security Suite, designed to be controlled by the shipboard AI. Included among the internal defences are coma gas projectors, automasers, energy & laser gates, paralysis beam projectors, and even disruptor security beams! Preventing unathorised access is a number of security protocols and systems, notably genetic code scanners and echo pulse-protected computers.
- In order to ensure the comfort of a wide range of potential passengers, the Voidstar is outfitted with a Habitat-grade Erakhian Ecological Synthesiser, a complex device which includes top-of-the-line life support separately adjustable for different rooms and atmospheric mixtures, as well as a particularly flexible artificial gravity system - these can be used to as part of the ship's defences, e.g., by turning the atmosphere in boarded sections poisonous, nullifying gravity (even on a planet's surface!), or increasing the gravity to up to four times standard.
- Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainer (HIMS).
- Passing Shadow: Featuring the single most advanced stealth system ever produced by Arctrus Astronautical, the Voidstar is all but impervious to anything but dedicated anti-stealth sensors when the ECM and hull camouflage is active - adding another layer of secrecy, the stealth systems are designed to be invisible to external scans even when inactive, lending the craft an air of respectability.
- Greased Lightning: A fast vessel even at the worst of times, the Voidstar is able to reroute its vast array of manoeuvring thrusters and any spare power to its engines, allowing it to outrun all but the fastest of interceptors, albeit with limited manoeuvrability.
- Safe and Sound: Hardy to begin with, especially when it comes to its self-regenerating Laminamium hull plating, the Voidstar is able to reroute power from its weapons to its shields, greatly increasing its survivability at the cost of all offensive functions. Internally, the vessel is just as secure, its passengers protected by numerous traps, defences, and even hidden Commando Droids.
- Mind in the Machine: The Voidstar is a complex vessel, too complex for most organic minds to pilot - fortunately, it features the specialised housing required to host a proper Artificial Intelligence, one capable of managing every facet of the ship's operations with inhuman precision.
- Flyswatter: While certainly very capable for a yacht, the Voidstar is hardly a military vessel, its weapons designed to ward off starfighters and confound pursuit - it is capable enough when striking from stealth, but lacks the firepower to truly take advantage of its near-invisibility.
- Hungry Beast: The Voidstar's advanced systems necessitate a truly outrageous power output, with even its Coaxium Annihilator struggling to deliver - it is possible to activate both the SLAM Drive and Bastion Protocol at once, but this is risky at best over anything but short periods, with extended use potentially even resulting in a forced reboot... or worse, if the reactor failsafe is manually circumvented.
- Dubious Legality: Designed to adhere to its owner's wishes, not "legal technicalities", the Voidstar possesses an amount and diversity of illegal enhancements that would make even the craziest smuggler blush. From its unregistered stealth systems, to its vicious internal security, to a beyond illegal Transponder Code spoofer, it would be best to avoid too thorough an inspection.
- Marvel of Engineering: The Voidstar is a carefully configured marvel of engineering, unlikely to break down except with external intervention... which unfortunately means that when something does go wrong, it will very likely require expensive and time-consuming repairs at a top-of-the-line repair facility, perhaps even a shipyard!
Building upon centuries of experience, including contracts from wealthy clients and intelligence agencies, the Voidstar is perhaps the finest vessel ever to leave Arctrus' shipyards. Every centimetre of the vessel is optimised for maximised comfort and performance, the designs evaluated and improved by no less than seven Artificial Intelligence, with Erkhin Trivohld himself personally designing the Transponder Code spoofer.
Carefully designed for only the most wealthy of plutocrats, the Voidstar's interior resembles a suite in the 500 Republica more than the average personal transport, with only the finest of materials used in its construction, from genetically engineered woods to exclusive leathers subtly altered to increase comfort while retaining the air of wealth.
Truly, the Voidstar is a wonder of the stars, its systems orders of magnitudes more advanced than those of the mass-produced yachts of the moderately wealthy, even competing with military vessels in many categories, if not in armaments.
Deck Plan (Top to Bottom):
- Deck I: The Voidstar's uppermost deck is dedicated solely to the Master Suite, including a massive bedroom and adjacent refresher, a large office featuring a DNA-encrypted personal access point to the shipboard AI and an encrypted communications suite, and a number of configurable personal chambers, able to be equipped as everything from meditation chambers to saunas.
- Deck II: Dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the passengers, the second deck sports several lounges and everything from a top-of-the-line holocinema to a massive configurable chamber capable of serving as anything from a swimming pool to an anti-gravity dojo. A prominent position is held by a large self-adjusting dining/meeting room - to aid in communication and secrecy alike, the chamber is outfitted with encrypted holoprojectors capable of facilitating remote attendance without giving away the ship's location.
- Deck III: Fully dedicated to no less than eight luxury cabins, each closer to a hotel suite than a conventional cabin, the third deck is meant to house guests in splendorous and spacious surroundings - but can be configured to house many more in less ostentatious quarters.
- Deck IV: Split between the crew quarters - which might feature four configurable cabins and the rooms needed for organics to comfortably coexist, or droid charging stations and repair facilities, or a mixture of the two - and the service quarters, i.e., a fully stocked medbay staffed by the finest medical droids money can buy and a large kitchen. Usually managed by unusually advanced chef droids, superior even to the 434-FPC Personal Chef Droid, the kitchen is able to match or exceed the quality of most gourmet restaurants.
- Deck V: Serving as a storeroom and airspeeder garage, the fifth and lowest deck hides a dubious surprise - a quartet of Universal Energy Cages in a sensor-proof compartment - or anything else the owner would need to keep hidden from the authorities and guests alike.
- Subdecks: Never meant for organic habitation, the Voidstar contains several droid-manned subdecks, which house most of the ship's systems, including the main reactor, hyperdrive, and AI Core. It is, of course, heavily defended and incredibly cramped.
