Oka always wanted to advance in the Jedi ranks but it not only took power, but it took honor. Too much power can go to your head, unless you treat power as your friend. As a rogue, Oka didn't really care for a master. But you change, and he wanted a teacher so he could advance in the force and as a Jedi rogue. He headed towards Coruscant first to search for a master.
