THE WINTER & SPRING ACCORD
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Winter & Spring Accord takes its name from the particular season that each planet's capitol was currently in during the first talks of the Accord. The Geminidae world's capital, Altranais was in the middle of it's spring season while the Illyrian capital of Azurine was beginning it's Winter season. The talks began when a single member of the Geminaie people arrived in the illyrian palace as an official representative of her people. The young woman,

joined the King in a number of discussions, one that eventually led to the conversation of a trade alliance between the two worlds. It took nearly three months for the specifics of the trade agreement to be drafted by the Illyrian High Court. As the High Court was not entirely comfortable with the world, but was following the order of their King, they intentionally left the Accord rather simplistic in nature. Detailing a non-aggression pact that would not allow either government to sanction violent or negative acts against the other. The first draft was submitted to the Geminian Embassy and accepted by the Sovereign Feyd-Serit without need for a second draft.
Following the documents acknowledgement by the Geminiaie Sovereign, she was invited to a Royal Banquet on Illyria to celebrate the understanding between these two worlds and officially bring life to the Winter & Spring Accord and begin diplomatic ties between the world of Geminidae and Illyria.

Geminidae has agreed to open trade networks for two of it's precious ores, Carnium & Ardanium, while Illyria will open a network containing a number of her rare gems, silks, and saplings of a special tree native to Illyria, as well as aid in cultivating a grove of these trees on the planet of Geminidae.

- Reception: There were rumors of potential trade talks ensuing between the Illyrian Monarchy & the Sovereign of Geminidae. The Illyrian people have been, most especially in recent years, eager to end their galactic isolation and begin expanding the renown of their world. To enter into a standing treaty with a world as illustrious as Geminidae brings the people a good deal of closure and pride, knowing their world is entering the galactic scene once again. For the people of Geminidae the treaty is mostly accepted with open minds and positive reception, however there are yet those within the Geminidae population who remain firmly rooted in the habit of isolationism, those within that small sect are skeptical of the alliance and remain detached from the treaty.

- Overview: Palm was dispatched by the Sovereign of Geminidae to meet with Adron Malvern and bestow upon him the Sovereign's official recognition of his dominion over Illyria. The King of Illyria returned the recognition whole-heartedly and proposed a trade agreement between the two worlds. This laid the foundation between the Winter & spring Accord.
THE WINTER & SPRING ACCORD
- Article I: The first Article of the Winter & Spring Accord defines a Non-Aggression Pact between the Sovereign Planers of Illyria and Geminidae. Under this article no member of the Illyrian Government, Military, Aristocracy, or Citizenry shall knowingly do harm to any body, holding, citizen, or province under the direct or indirect jurisdiction of the Geminaie people. The article also details that the world of Geminidae will follow terms explicitly mirroring those detailed above. Any citizen or official of either planet that violates this law will fall under a joint-legal jurisdiction to determine lawful punishment to be enacted upon said individual.
- Article II: The Planet of Geminidae will allow Illyrian Companies, Organizations, and Trade Guilds lawful access to the Carnium & Ardanium trade based on the world of Geminidae, as well as access to the Geminian Marble market. In return for trade access to these minerals, the planet of Illyria will open trade access to her prized silks, gems, and Winter Oak Tree saplings.
