Via Dolorosa
Amans In Tenebris
Feet planted firmly on the grassy knoll, overlooking the crashing waves of purity, Darth Venefica stood poised to assist in the training of an Acolyte. The girl was not her Apprentice in the official capacity, just giving back to ones who sought knowledge from her. She may never accept a bid for an Apprentice, though she felt almost obliged to trickle down her knowledge. The One Sith were gone, and still she felt unrest in her soul. Watching the circling birds dart across the twilight sky conjured up memories of her youth, when she was reckless and childish; oh how the youth of ignorance gave birth to the age of maturity.
And the lone tear of loss cascaded down her cheek. Somewhere out there her only child, her beloved Daughter, was alone and without Mother. Since the conception of the girl, The Dagobah Sith had turned from monster to Mother in a breath's wisp. Her life was dedicated to her child, struggling to hold back her history from whispering into her Daughter's ears. Her Daughter loved her Mother, just as Mother loved her Daughter, but that schism forced between them turned her blood colder than it ever had when she first embraced the Dark Side. For the first time in her life, she felt powerless. And more angrier than ever.
Releasing her clasped hands, she spoke for the first time to a Sith in nearly ten years. "You're late."
