A Theama scout drone. Made entirely out of organic components and piloted either remotely or autonomously. Recharges by landing on plant matter and absorbing energy and nutrients.

Folded up for storage and recharging. Each unit is about the same size as a popsicle stick, and weighs just as much. Can be tossed into the air to give it a boost for flight.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Fully compatible with the Sylva Vitae biotech suite
  • Able to operate in any atmosphere thanks to its simple and efficient design
  • Quad ornithopter wings allow for unmatched maneuverability, although its speed is somewhat lessened as a result.
STRENGTHS
  • High maneuverability thanks to its wing design
  • Regenerative capabilities comparable to other Sylva Vitae biotech
  • Extremely small size makes it difficult to spot, shoot, or entrap. In a natural environment it's almost invisible when compared to other natural insect life.
WEAKNESSES
  • Small size reduces its flight range; without refueling it can't last for long flights
  • Entirely organic design isn't near as hardy as standard droid designs
  • Ornithopter wings aren't silent, and are not as powerful or as efficient as other methods of propulsion
DESCRIPTION
A simple update to the Lianna-class scout glider, the 'Theama' glider is made for increased versatility and maneuverability after its deployment. Boasting wings and a small organic 'battery', the 'Theama' can operate for a few hours at a time without needing to 'recharge'. Its wings fold up for increased compactness in storage, and to increase its covertness in operation. Able to recharge by adhering to a plant and siphoning nutrients or by simply attaching to Sylva Vitae biotech, it can take a small break and replenish itself.

A simple bit of biotech, the 'Theama' is meant for recon and not much else. Able to be slotted into Sylva Vitae armor, taking up an insignificant amount of space and weight, the 'Theama' is extremely versatile for quick local surveillance and having an 'eye in the sky'.
