Nar Shaddar, it's not the best place to meet but hey sometimes you need a little bar time. Tom was in the area doing some more business with The family and keeping in line with their new don's wishes. He still had a bit of time to kill so he decide to go to a bar.

This place wasn't the best bar around but it most certainly not the worst either. He'd been to the worst and this wasn't even close to this. So he sat with his drink trying to make sure his recent scarring didn't get worse as he had lost his eye to a Sith lord during the silvers take over of his world. But it was a reminder to try not to fall into the sith's ways. Funny how a sith taking his eye had taught him not to be too much sith.

So he sat with his drink just passing the time numbing the pain. He hoped he would be able to drink in some peace.

This was one world Ra should have been more familiar with. She had been here a few times now but had avoided really getting to know the planet well. Deciding that should change, she now walked through the busy streets.

Her stomach growled at her, reminding her that she needed to eat more often than before. Stopping to look around her, her eyes landed on a cantina. It certainly wasn't the best looking place but was better than the last one she had been to here.

With a confident walk, there shouldn't be many people that would approach her with an intent to rob. So Ra walked alone into the cantina to grab a bit of food and drink. Finding the tables taken, she walked over to the bar and took a seat there.

At least one person was already having a drink there and she ordered her own as she looked through the menu offered.

"I'll take the stew."

An accidental elbow out hit the person next to her and she turned to say sorry.

Mig really didn't like Nar Shaddar. Usually too seedy for his liking. Either way, Mig was hoping to find a job with good pay, and that he would agree with actually doing. The Mandalorian simply decided to slide into a bar, hoping someone would ask him to do a job for them. Mig walked to the bar, looking up at the barkeep. "Jawa Juice and some grilled Bantha please." The Mando'ad'jetii then looked to see a couple more people there. A woman apparently telling the person next to her sorry. The man pulled his helmet off, placing it next to him, and went ahead and placed some credits down for the meal and drink. He looked back over at the pair of folks there before speaking.

"So what brings you two to Nar Shaddar?"

Tom turned his head for a second as someone bumped him. He saw [member="Riamah"] with one eye and with the other he saw her force signature and anothers behind her. "It's fine Ra. Don't bother asking how I know you cause there are so many ways I could tell you. Most of them are due to your infamy and one is because you knew my dad." He then looked further with his normal eye seeing the other force sensitive was a mandalorian. "A mandalorian, an echani and a red head walk into a bar. I'm sure it hurt."

He answered the question the mandalorian asked. "That question is not one you want me to answer if you would like to make it off this planet alive especially who I was dealing with. Then again as a force sensitive mandalorian it would be normal for people wanting to end you especially considering their recent idea of kicking all Sith and Jedi from their space ended up with a rebellion on my world." He had another drink. "Also left me with this scar which I am trying to numb through drinks."

She politely adjusted her position at the bar to give the incoming Mandalorian room to sit and set his stuff down. Noticing he took his helmet off, Ra knew that went against tradition. Not commenting on it, this was a free world where somebody could do what they wanted and if broke that tradition, that was on him. Is there was one thing to be said about him, he was polite.

"Food and drink. What about you?"

Picking up the mentioned drink, Ra took a sip of it as she looked over at the person sitting next to her. Waiting on his answer, her attention was drawn back to the one she had accidentally elbowed.

"My infamy? I had no idea I was that well known."

That comment surprised her the most because she was the leader of a movement but kept herself in the shadows. Not one to come out of hiding, the others in her movement were the ones that saw the action. The further exchange between Tom and Mig caused her to lift a single brow.

"So you know me...who are you?"

It was addressed to both of them and not one or the other specifically.

Mig looked over at Riamah, smiling a bit. He could tell she was a bit surprised by his removal of his helmet. He then answered her question. "Same as you. That's why I took the helmet off. Also looking for some work."

The Enchani then noted some if his story. It was sad really; to hear what the man had to say about what happened on his world. Mig looked a bit uncomfortable hearing it, but didn't show it. The mandalorian then looked at him and spoke. "The new Manda'alor has changed things. Some may not have changed yet, but things have become different." Then Ra asked who Mig and the Echani were. The Mandalorian simply answered, "Mig Gred, mando'ad'jetii and Alor of Clan Gred."

He listened to them continue talking, he was asked who he was. "Funny for someone of your knowledge I would have expected you too keep up with any kind of spy masters around. Especially those who worked for the mandalorians less than a couple of years ago. Especially since you sold my dad songsteel but since you've asked kindly my name is Tom Taff." He ordered another drink. "Also your infamous to me because there ain't a lot that I don't know especially about those who had powerful mandalorian diplomats visit them."

Tom looked at the mandalorian with sadness on his face. "One day it will happen to you to. You will realise all the nice stories are just that stories and the only reason your allowed in their space with your abilities is because you are one of them. A powerful part but none the less one of them. As for my planet that happened days ago. But enough of my blubbering disillusions it's nice to meet you [member="Mig Gred"] "

Nodding when Mig said he was here for food, drink and work, Ra lifted an eyebrow when he said he was Alor of a clan. It wasn't one she was aware of, but that was fine. Her dealings with the Mandalorian Empire were quite limited and she did a mental shrug. What Tom said though just felt off.

"I am not one to get involved with politics personally. So there are others that deal with that. To think I could be called a diplomat of some sort is just rather funny. Yes, there was a meeting between myself and a Mandalorian. That doesn't make me one of their numbers though."

Taking a sip of her drink as she spoke calmly, she watched Tom out of the corner of her eye. His words implied she had worked for them, but that was never the case. Her world was on the fringe of their space, but they had yet to make a move there. That was fine with her. The longer Vjun stayed free from the influence of any government other than her own movement, it was better.

Letting out a small breath through her nose, she wasn't sure if she liked Tom or not. Time would tell.

"What kind of work do you have in mind?"

This was directed at Mig and Ra turned her face to look at him.

Mig just gave [member="Tom Taff"] an odd look. He definitely seemed like an interesting fellow, but he was hard to read. He had cleary been through hardship though. He honestly wasn't sure how to respond to what Tom said. Either way, he did his best to smile, and replied "Nice to meet you as well, and I hope the future is kinder to you."

Mig soon took a bit of his meal, looking at [member="Riamah"] curiously as she asked him what kind of work he was looking for. She was fairly well known, though he didn't really know any details about her. He thought about it for a moment, before finally speaking. "Escort, taking out criminals, training, freeing slaves.... Pretty much anything as long as it isn't something outside of my morals. Won't take a child target. Won't captures slaves for someone. Stuff like that... no way!"

He could feel them both giving him odd looks. This wasn't surprisingly new to him as anyone who listened to him for more than five minutes generally began giving him strange looks anyways. He sighed as he swallowed the last of his drink. He listened to the two of them continue their conversations finally deciding he had been mopey enough. "I could do some training or some escort work either or would be fine with me."

The woman was always up for training and she nodded at what Tom said.

"I've never dabbled in escort work really. Not outside of the business with my fleet at least.'

Shrugging her shoulders slightly, sometimes Ra wanted to return to those days. To a time when she kept her Force ability a secret and just had to worry about getting merchandise from location A to B.

"You and I will get along great, Mig. It seems our morals appear to be similar. So why not try to pick up some gig of escort? While doing that job, we can see if there are any other offers on the table. Can also train in something while travelling, I'm sure."

Mig looked over at Tom and smiled a bit. It was good to hear him not mope about. He then looked at Ra as she noted that she had never done escort work. He then smiled to hear that she figured they'd get along pretty well, noting that their morals seemed pretty close. She then suggested finding a gig, and possibly getting some more work and training at the same time. He thought for a moment, and nodded.

"Sounds like a good plan to me."
