There are no such things as monsters

The thick of the jungle was deep, at certain points it was hard to tell if it was daylight . Cerek darted in between the trees moving as fast as his legs would go through the bush and branches ignoring the sting of twigs whacking his face. The air was heavy and humid putting more pressure on Cereks lungs, even though he was used to strenuous long runs the environment was draining his strength quicker than he would have guessed. Besides the bobbing and weaving needed to dodge the larger branches Cerek also was forced to evade the blaster fire not too far behind him. As agile as he was it was becoming more and more cumbersome to avoid the assailants on his tail. A blaster shot went directly over his head causing Cerek to dive down a small hill and roll into a stream.

Quickly recovering and leaping up to grab a branch to swing to higher ground and keep running. A flock of birds startled by the blaster fire almost knocks Cerek off balance but he manages to put his arm up and swat them out of his way. In the distance Cerek can hear the angry growls of his pursuers stumbling clumsily through the treacherous Jungle of Aaris III. The sun was starting to set which put unsettling thoughts in Cerek's mind . He had heard the rumors of what happened to the imperial science team and the creatures inhabiting the ruins of the old cities. Unfortunately Cerek was a long distance from his ship and with no one to support him the situation was bleak. The only stroke of luck was coming across the ruins of the old Imperial facility that was still somewhat intact.

"Huh well at this rate I dont think I have a choice, I need a rest bad and I'm in a bad position to fight without the legacies on me damn."

Cerek close in on the facility fast acrobatically leaping over rubble and ruin to get to the entrance. He quickly takes cover hiding from the assailants behind a damaged metal door barely clinging to the frame. The thugs chasing him temporarily lose the trail but they dont leave the area, being fully aware the ruins are the only place Cerek can hide. They fan out and begin searching for Cerek sounding even more frustrated than in the jungle chase, they likely knew what horrors could be waiting in the dark. Cerek quietly makes his way deeper into the abandon facility gaining some distance but something catches his eye. On the ground are what appear to be fresh muddy boot prints leading to a room with a light inside... someone else was there.

"Freaking stupid ship piece of..." that went on for minutes. The hammerhead stopped working finally after having it half a year. Half a year since he knew he had the force. Since he joined the Sacred Lotus and went towards the light side..."Six month and now im stuck in this planet for who knows how long!" Hex managed to land the ship when its engine shutted down and the gravity pulled them in.

Andy got wore his helmet and took out his hilt with a regular blaster pistol "I should be getting into the club in a few hours and the hyperdrive fails and all my equipment is in here!" he handed the pistol to Hex "I´ll go out to find any repairment or something to get us out of here. Do the communication works?" "Yep. Its at least a thousand kilometers of radius" "Send a rescue signal. If something happens, contact me"

An hour later, Andy was on a branch, hearing music to use the force and scanning the area with the helmet. Some thugs were chasing a random guy, and it wasnt a fair fight. He followed the guy into an old facility and approach with his hands up "Hey there. Im not with them...well you can notice that just by looking at my outfit" dark blue shirt with a dark jeans and a helmet without the mirror on the helmet on "Name is Andy" said smiling. He was ready to react if the guy draw a gun.

Cerek paused a moment his adrenaline surging and still in survival mode, his eyes wide and feral and his muscles tense ready to strike. After a second of sizing up Andy he began to calm down, Cerek realized by the clothing he was not part of the group of thugs trying to take his head. Cerek glances over Andy's shoulder making sure the thugs cant spot them. Cerek makes one gesture to Andy to follow him into the facility by waving and another gesture placing his finger over his own mouth indicating he should be silent.
"shh"

Cerek utters in a low tone as he walks further inside away from the entrance.

"pleasure to meet you, even under these circumstances"

Cerek slumps against a wall to try and catch his breath and relax his aching burning muscles.

Alace T'Ran

One With The Force; The Force Is With Her
Alace looked down at a little girl fell into a hole in the jungle "My friend, I know you are scared but do not worry. For the force will come and assure your life." The girl was separated from her family and the only one who could help her was Alace "I will not let you be trapped in there." Alace reached his arms down to the little girl to pull her up. When she managed to get her up she knelt down to her and hugged her "Now... Can you take me to your parents, please?"

Alace took the little girl's hands nervously and started walking through the dark jungle. She felt a presence here. She felt something in the force but she didn't think it would lead to a little girl. She expected something bigger. Even now, she felt that same mysterious presence on this planet. It was hard to believe that the girl actually knew where she was going because frankly, this whole jungle seemed to look the same to Alace. She didn't have much of a choice though. She honestly did not memorize where she came from in the jungle. She lost track of where everything was ages.

"Here's a shortcut." The little girl said, pointing at something.

Alace didn't notice the building at first but to the left of her was a large Imperial facility. At first, she didn't see it but then she noticed that a man was chased in by unknown people. She was nervous to go into the facility but she slowly went into the facility with the little girl at her side. She stuck close to the girl because it seemed she knew where she was going. As she was walking through she noticed two other people. She nearly jumped when she saw them.

"Wh-Who are you?" She said, tightening her grip on the little girl's hand.

Cerek's eyes dart towards the feminine voice
"another one? And a child?"

Cerek stands up and faces the two new comers and Andy with a bewildered look, but unfortunately questions and answers would have to wait as he could hear the assailants closing in on the entrance to the facility. It was now completely dark which helped the four strangers remain hidden although a shadow creeped in Cereks mind concerning the jungle and horrid rumour.
"We need a place to hide for now, I suggest everyone move to a higher level in this place so we're not caught... we can talk then"

Cerek begins walking up a staircase half destroyed from overgrowth and damage from fierce combat. He holds on tight to the remaining railing as it shifts about seeming to be ready to fall off at any time.

[[member="Cerek Fyeluzhe"] Just so you know, Alace's voice is not feminine. A sample of her voice is in my character sheet. If you want a bigger explanation, in a nutshell, she is transgendered.]

Alace raised an eyebrow in confusion but then looked down at the child and told her "He might be right. Come along now."

Alace followed the mysterious man closely behind. She was confused as of what what happening but she tried not to question it. She looked around the facility and felt sad to see what state it was in. It was completely ruined. The facility was muddy, overgrown, and obviously had seen its face share of battles in its day. She was curious as to whatever happened to the facility but another part of her felt as if it would be scared to know.

Alright. A girl with a child in the middle of the jungle in the outer rim with apparently no weapon or armor. Someone who was being chased by some thugs, and telling them to hide instead of take them down. If he had his reasons it was better to not discuss more and follow him. This wasnt going to be interesting but more of dangerous and stupid... Then again, he needed repair tools, power, scrap metal or even fuel to repair his ship and get out of here. It was his best shot to enter that facility

The scanner of his helmet showed battle marks everywhere "My ship is broken. Whats everyone story in this case? As its better to know this instead of following a forgotten path blind" said in a not loud voice, being careful of not drawing unwanted attention "Oh and my name is Andy" the hilt of his lightsaber was in his right hand. The helmet worked well enough to know the way back to the surface at least

Finally and silently making their way into a safe secure room far from the thugs searching area Cerek feels comfortable enough to talk.

"Well I suppose I should tell you two what's going on here. My name is Cerek Fyeluzhe, I was hired by a Hutt named Turgoph to retrieve a supposed crate of some kind of crystals. The location was west of here in some city ruins. Well I arrived easy enough and much to my pleasure after some excavation I found the crate. The only problem is the bloody Hutt had no intention of actually paying me anything. As soon as I found it I saw a recon droid fly off east to the sky and a freighter made land fall nearby. Before I knew it I was under attack by Turgoph's thugs, I managed to take out eight of them... then something happened. I was grappling with one of the thugs close to a sewer drain..."

Cerek's gaze drops as his tone changes to something filled with a kind of dread reserved for talk of demons and sith

"Something threw the metal seal of the drain off like it was a feather and... and it grabbed the head of that gangster... by the force I've never even seen a Wookie with such strength. A giant scaled arm... it just crushed his skull and tore it off like..."

Cerek shudders

"Needless to say I immediately made a run for my ship, everything went downhill from there. I had left my weapons on my ship the White glare so I couldn't properly fight them all. I had also recalled the rumors of this world and how the Imperial science team was massacred by some ancient race of alien turned monstrous beings. The assassins pursued me through the jungle wanting to make sure I didn't make it out alive, I knew too well what was awoken in those ruins. Soon the creatures would be upon us so I chose to run rather than fight a foolish battle and well... here we are."

Cerek looks the two over closely feeling the force in them

"It's unfortunate you two Jedi had to get tangled up in this"

"Hello Andy..." Alace said in a monotone voice to the person who introduced himself "I'm Alace."

Alace continued walking through the facility. The place truly made her feel uneasy. She couldn't explain what it was but it always felt like there was something lurking behind every corner. Alace looked back down to the little girl. She didn't seem too scared. She said this was a shortcut after all. She must have been through here before. Even if the girl was fine, something about the place felt off. Once, she got into the safe secure room, she immediately let go of the little girl and sat against the wall.

Alace silently listened as Cerek told his weird story but something he mentioned made her want to ask Cerek a question "Wh-Why do you think I'm a jedi? I am no jedi, my friend."

The story of why that guy was here, it was kind of cool that a foe like that could exist, but more importantly..."So you have a functional ship...and they have one too?" with that he could escape this forgotten planet. Not that he didnt liked some nature, but this trip would cost him contacts with the Mercury Station. If he could communicate with Hex, the droid could aid him as an aditional eyes on the field. For now he would be using the helmet scan system

He didnt knew how that guy knew that he had the force but he couldnt be someone overpowered to do that "Im not jedi. Or at least for now. Until i manage to be strong as single. By now it drives my car called life in a good way" the helmet mirror changed to the regular black with a moving line, as that meant that Andy was hearing music. That also mean that he could use the force. A rock levitated and moved towards the child "Dont be scare. Lets play a game that is call "Catch the rock"" said with a raised arm

"Should i plan for an attack against them or take them all out? They are simply some random thugs" the wookie appear to be the only thing he was afraid off. One of the advantage was that between the music and close enviroment, nobody could read his mind

"Sometimes... you can tell by the way they carry themselves if the force is with them, and sometimes you cant I guess"

Cerek takes a look around the corner seeing no threat, he takes this opportunity to ask the other three travelers some questions

"So I've told you why I am here, maybe you want to tell me what brings you two to this hell hole... and a child as well? I can guarantee you landing here is going to be a lot more difficult than leaving"

Alace looked down at the ground as they spoke before speaking up to reply to Cerek's question "I felt a presence on the planet. I couldn't explain it but I believe the force is telling me that I was meant to be here. It led me to this little girl in the woods. I was trying to bring her back home when I ran into you two. I don't believe the girl brought me here though. There is something still here. I can still sense it's presence." Alace suddenly looked at Andy closely. There was something familiar about him but she couldn't put her finger on what it was "Andy. There is a familiar aura surrounding you in which I cannot comprehend. It almost reminds me of the aura that surrounds Monastery."

[member="Cerek Fyeluzhe"] [member="Andy Khor"]

"Ship stopped working and crashed down" said putting his helmet on to scan the area once more. He couldnt be too trustful, as there where a group of thugs following them. Nothing close on range "So you are basically a fist for hire and things go wrong because someone screw you up right?" said getting up, stretching his back. The trip here was too exhausting.

Alace spoke about knowing him, or at least she force sense him while he was in the planet "Well i pass by some weeks in there, so maybe we passed by without knowing. I havent go there since the end of my concert there. It was sublime for not saying anything less" He wasnt able to reach that kind of force concentration, as he had to use the helmet and hear music to use the force "So how is this going to be Cerek?"

[member='Alace T'Ran'] [member='Cerek Fyeluzhe']

"Fascinating"

Cerek mumbled cautiously proceeding to the roof.

"The problem isn't the thugs at this point it's those creatures. It wont be possible to make it anywhere far through this thick jungle with those things lurking in the shadows".

Cerek peeked through a few doors as they proceeded down the hallway looking for something in particular. The storm trooper corpses half eaten were strewn along the hallway broken and bloody. Every once in a while a rodent like creature would scamper across the dimly lit hall. The lights would flicker and sometimes fail from the strain of not having any maintenance and dying generators.

"My thinking is we can find the armory here and hold up for the night, unless you can get a ship here but I dont see how any ship could land through all these trees".

(OOC: Sorry for joining in late, ladies and gents!)

Well, Long John, ya done it again.

John Trenway crawled out of the wreckage of his skiff, at not a sooner moment. The flames were near touching him now, and had he dawdled for a few more seconds, he'd be little more than roasted pirate and circuitry. He sat there for a moment, trying to remember how he got in this mess.

Ah, I remember now.

Turgoph the Hutt. It was supposed to be an easy score. He heard from a little parrot that the slug would be receiving a large shipment of crystals today. So, what's a pirate to do when he hears there's gonna be some loot to be found?

Steal it, of course.

The skiff he was on was stolen from some very angry looking police officers, and Long John and the hired help he had with him whooped with excitement at what was supposed to be an easy picking. A few thugs, nothing him and the boys couldn't handle, and they'd be set for a long time- John, probably for life, considering his skinflint nature.

And now they were all dead. Oh, well. Not a soul would miss the scum he was traveling with. And it wasn't like he intended for them to survive the ordeal anyways, one way or another. He wasn't counting on the ruffians to shoot him out of the sky or to number in almost double his estimate, but hey, a pirate's life is half improvisation.

Grunting, Trenway got to his feet and examined his surroundings. It was getting dark. Very dark. To his left was unkempt jungle, thick and menacing. To his right was what appeared to be a desolate building stood, dark and ominous. His options were fantastic. Without further ado, the pirate made his way through the thick fauna, carving a path with his trusty cybernetic arm vibroblade attachment that he flicked out as casually as one flicks out a pocket knife.

---------------

The building was dark. Very dark. Dead soldiers and rodents littered the ground. It didn't faze the pirate none. He'd seen his share of cadavers in his travels and adventures. On the dust of the floor, he could see that someone-or something-had came in before him, and not too earlier. Was it the hired muscle owned by the Hutt? His metal leg made a bang against a random helmet, which happened to contain a rotted head, and Long John swore an oath under his breath. Whoever was in here would've heard that. The pirate got up against the corner of the hallway and readied his blaster. He didn't care if he was outnumbered; John Trenway would not be taken down without a fight by some scum-ridden, diseased Hutt's minions.

"I'll kill 20 of 'em ne'er-do-wells before they get the drop on me, or my name isn't Long John Trenway."

Feth it. Let's get this sorry ordeal over and done with.

"Come out, ya filthy mongrels, that a'way ol' Long John can put ya down like the diseased curs ya are! We'll see if yer Hutt master can recognize ya when I'm done chewin' and spittin' ya out!"
