The Catacombs - Under the Palace - Chasin City - Commenor

[member="Darth Prazutis"]

It was nearly dawn. Kay had troubles sleeping every now and then. The increase in Sith coming to visit her to strike an alliance gave her a hint of suspicion. Something was in the works. Tendrils of Darkness could be felt coming from great distances, winding their way to her small corner of the Galaxy. Even though they try to portray their friendliness to her, there were some that were a threat. She had to be ready if they chose to attack her and remove her from power.

So it was here in the catacombs that she continued her training alone. Droids and dummies were at her disposal. Sometimes she used her lightsaber, sometimes she just used a metal rod. Other times she used a blaster or the Force itself. Either way, she could do what she wanted.

In the Valley of the Storm, she had begun to learn to control the lightning in the sky, and to even draw it from herself and send it forth from her fingers. And that was what she was doing today, putting in some time to practice before her schedule was to be overrun with meetings.

Her eyes narrowed as she watched the protocol droid try to hide behind a pillar. The droid was slow, and one of these days she had planned to move up to an HK droid or something else of the sort, even one of the prisoners. But today it was the protocol droid. It's voice, it's fear of having it's program wiped was annoying enough to draw her anger. She thought back on what also made her angry, frustrated and even fearful. Like a surge, she felt the heat rising from her core and moving through her body to explode out of her outstretched hand. Blue lightning forked out from her fingertips, slamming into the droid and immediately overloading it's circuits. The droid cried out before dropping to the ground, smoke rising from it's crumpled form.

Kay wiped her brow and grabbed her water bladder, taking a much needed sip and a few minutes' break. It was then that she realized that she wasn't alone.

Royal Palace, Commenor
The Catacombs...

Everything proceeded as he had foreseen.

All events from the kidnapping of [member="Lady Kay"] to finally breaking her, to her training all of it unfolded exactly as he designed it to. The new individual he built up was strong, cunning, and ruthless. She adhered to his teachings well and eagerly learned what knowledge he chose to gift her with.

No more was Kay-Larr the weak being who stood before him, she was something more.

The Queen of Commenor his Apprentice was what drew him to her domain. The Dark Lord strode through the halls of the palace catacombs clad in his most ghastly black and gold robes, a hood pulled over his head. Even in her rise to power it was made clear who her master truly was, the conditioning drilled into building her up was iron clad. But despite how far she climbed Kay-Larr still had further to go, a lot further. The darkness emanated from him like a choking fog.

When he approached her in the catacombs the King decided to not make his presence known, rather observe his apprentice amidst her training. A grin formed on his face at the sight of cackling blue lightning erupting from her fingertips, a technique she picked up quite well. Only when the droid fell destroyed did he emerge from the shadows "You have done well my apprentice." Prazutis said clapping lightly as he approached her. "But you still have much to learn about the dark side of the force."

Kay clenched her jaw as soon as she heard his voice. [member="Darth Prazutis"] had come. She wasn't contacted beforehand and no one upstairs had even told her that he had even arrived. And now he was here for Force knows what. As long as she hadn't been spied on as of late, then all would be well.

She put down her water bladder and then approached him, dropping to one knee as she bowed her head. "Yes Master. What a...pleasant surprise to have you drop by." Kay set aside her emotions, leaving them to be as if they never were, concealing her growing hatred for him. She despised the fact she was kept at a disadvantage. Her old self didn't have a journal or anything to help her outside of a handful of holo-mails, so regaining some knowledge that was lost was almost impossible.

But there was another way...

Kay waited until she was told to rise before she would move. The Force Lightning she learned from someone else. She was picking up on new skills from some of the other Sith that have asked for an alliance. It was a good trade off. Knowledge was key.

"Rise my apprentice, and let your training commence." Prazutis said to [member="Lady Kay"] as he gestured behind him.

A guard escorted a man clad in the garb of a prisoner of Commenor out to them, his hands were cuffed behind his back and he was gagged by a thick cloth tied around his face. Immediately the man was forced down to his knees his head hanging low, he seemed out of it.

Every Sith Lord needed to impart knowledge on his apprentices carefully, with precision. Today he would teach the former healing master how to put those techniques to good use through the dark side of the force, to take life. The power of drain life or dark transfer as it was commonly known was a complex ability. To drain the life force of an individual until there was nothing left, for ones own use. It could be used to heal wounds or transfer said life force to another individual. The ability inherently had its drawbacks as one needed to be careful not to be drawn in by the influx of absorbing life, such power was exceedingly addictive if one didn't monitor it.

The Dark Lord was an master of drain life in all its forms, his training perfected it including drain vitality, until he finally mastered its evolved version: Death Field. Kay-Larr was a long ways away from wielding its evolved form, but today she would learn its basic form. "In your past life you wielded healing abilities. Through the dark side such abilities are also possible and important both in ensuring your continued survival and the death of your opponent." Prazutis said approaching the man holding his hand out.

"Through the dark side by relying on your anger, your hated you can command the dark side to feel the life force in others, hear their very heart beat. Through your concentration you can tear the life, and even the stamina from your very opponents body to heal your own wounds." A thick black smog erupted from his hand rapidly surging towards the now wide eyed prisoner. The black smog completely enveloped the man who disappeared from view. In this instance Prazutis not only desired to rob him of a small portion, he wanted to take it all. "When wielding this application you will feel and control the speed the life is drained, and the amount in which is drained. When your proficiency grows your power over it will grow." The Dark Lord said as the fog soon dissipated and the man dropped down. The prisoners body looked as if it had aged a hundred years its pallid flesh spread tightly across bone.

"But be warned. The ability to drain life is inherently addictive, you must resist its sweet lure lest it lead you to destruction as it has many a Sith Lord." Once more the King gestured and once more another prisoner was brought forth, forced down as the other body was dragged away.

Kay got to her feet when she was told and watched as a prisoner was brought forth. Was he one of the ones slated to be executed? She certainly hoped so. Her prisoners were used as workers in the mines. So killing them outright or making them not productive wasn't going to help Commenor's interest.

Yet she tucked those thoughts away while [member="Darth Prazutis"] showed her a new technique, a new way to heal herself. In a way it reminded her of how she was caught by him in the first place. Although that was more of a netting.

She observed his demonstration, her mind filled with questions when it was over. "Is this how some in the past had achieved immortality? And does it only work on those with no ability to control the Force? And finally, Master, is there a way to block it?" Another prisoner was dragged in. No doubt it was going to be her turn next. The only addiction that she had wanted to have, was for her tea.
