When Pashne went for supper in the convent's dining hall, one of her senior Sisters of the Scar, a woman named Lanor, sat with her. "Pashne," she began softly. "Good evening." The redhead shifted somewhat uneasily in her seat. "You've hear that the Rectress returned from Hapes yesterday, yes?" Lanor paused to give Pashne the space to answer. If Pashne did in such a way that indicated that she was not aware of the news, or what had transpired to disturb the Rectress so, the older Sister would explain:

"She led an attaché of Sisters to accompany the Queen and her handmaidens to a royal wedding. It erupted into violence. A group of insurrectionists bombed the capital and the bride-to-be was murdered as everyone watched on."

Being witness to a show like that would shake many Naboo, but when they were as staunchly dedicated to peace and pacifism as a Daughter of the Scar?

When she began to speak again, her porcelain brow pleated. "No one's seen Neke since and she won't permit anyone to enter her quarters. We're quite worried. Some of us...well, we thought you might be able to get through to her. And get her to eat, after you have, o-of course." Lanor offered a small but sincere smile. "You're yet young but you're one of the best of us.

"What say you?"

Pashne nods with a reasuring smile. “I’m sure I can get her to come out. Or at least eat.” She begins eating her food, thinking about how she’ll get Shineke Dravenné Shineke Dravenné out of her office. She couldn’t imagine what it would’ve been like, heading to a peaceful wedding to only then be bombed. Her eyebrows furrow as she thinks about it, concern and worry seeping into her features.

Once she’s done with her food she leaves the table, lightly patting Lanor’s shoulder reassuringly before leaving to get Neke a plate. Today there’s a rather large selection of breads, Pashne makes sure to get some for Neke.

She makes her way to Neke’s office, walking down the large hallways with nearly silent footsteps. Once she’s gotten to neke’s office door she knocks softly against the door. “Neke, it’s Pashne. I’ve brought you some food. Braised shaak roast and five-blossom bread. I know how much you like bread,” she pauses, listening for any reply. When she doesn’t get one she continues. “We both know isolating yourself after what’s happened won’t make dealing with it easier. Besides, you wouldn’t want the cook to think you don’t like her cooking”
