- When thermal regulation fabric is exposed to the cold, the fibers of the material expand, creating thousands of microscopic pockets that trap heat generated by the wearer. When exposed to heat, the fibers of the material shrinks, allowing more airflow through the material.

Temperature regulation fabric was designed with the simple purpose of regulating body temperatures. Whether it's extreme cold or blistering heat. When exposed to cold air, the fabric expands creating thousands of microscopic air pockets that collect heat generated by the wearer. The reverse is true when exposed to heat, the fabric shrinks allowing for more airflow and heat to escape. The fabrics ability to expand and contract definitely across its surface allows it to regulate temperatures accordingly.
