THE HINDER MARKET

Nemo's eyes fell open to the raw smell of sulfur and Bantha dung. This was like Nal Hutta all over again. She gathered herself for a moment, hands searching for her blaster and datapad; it never paid to fall asleep on the job. And some job this was.

A fine mist hung over the Hookah bar, the Aqualish attendant slinking from booth to booth to the wail of a valachord; for what was practically a farmer's market, this was one hell of a cushy spot. She'd kept her contact waiting with this one, she knew. But it was no easy task gathering the intel they needed to pull this off. She'd also kept him light on the details- secrecy was paramount in a matter like this. The archaelogical find of the year. The mystery of two thousand years. Right here on Recopia.

It'd taken a couple weeks, skulking the rambling streets of Hinder Island; moving from stall to stall, she'd traded a haul of Kyber Crystals, payoff of her last job, for naught but secrets. The value of each had proven questionable. One rumour bled into the next, stories shifting like the acid seas around them, until truth and legend were inseperable. But that was how she liked this business; if nothing else, a healthy dose of mystery certainly kept things interesting.

"Uh... Noah Corek?" The Ithorian gave her a bewildered look and hurried off. It didn't help that she didn't exactly know what he looked like. Sounded like he might be Rodian, but that hadn't worked so far. No doubt she'd explain quite why she'd summoned him Coreward, to the Recopia System, in just a moment. But first, he had to show.

There was one grand mystery in store for him, and a hell of a Hookah joint to boot.
