Varokscar was born on the planet of Felucia, one of the very planets her kind found peace. Her mother died during childbirth, her Father shortly after. She was raised by the others that had fled to Felucia along with her parents. Life wasn't easy, but it wasn't difficult either, especially on Felucia where the planet has a reputation of notoriously harboring fugitives and others fleeing one form of authority or another.
Over time, she began to settle in as the years began to pass her by, but she was always inquisitive, speaking of topics most didn't have answers too. Most of what she inquired surrounded the nature of the Force, how to use it, what was it, how come they were different; most began to ignore the questions of the young Mortuss. So, frustration settled in, all the awhile her inquisitive mind kept churning.
Years later, a Jedi, who had place upon himself the title of exile, arrived on Felucia. According to the Jedi, who managed to earn the right to live within the small village of the Mortuss, had lost faith in the Jedi and the Republic. He could no longer be a part of something he felt was just wrong. He could sense the darkness in the Mortuss, but they were untrained and posed no threat to him and he to them.
Young Varokscar took to him quickly, and he grew fond of her as well. She would ask questions, and he would answer them truthfully. One day the Jedi decided to train her in the ways of the Force and found to his amazement how quickly she was learning. She became, unofficially, his Padawan and two worked on her abilities, even teaching her how to use a lightsaber. But the more she grew in the Force, so did her connection to the Dark Side, something he knew would be possible given her kind was inherently born with both the Force and the Dark Side.
Years later, the Jedi, her mentor, passed away. His species longevity was far shorter than those of hers, and she felt the sting of grieving. A few days after she buried him, she decided to leave Felucia. She gathered some supplies, including her mentor's lightsaber, and booked passage of the planet. She had no clear direction, but the pull to see what the galaxy had to offer was just too tempting.
She changed her name, adding the title Lady to it, for it was the nickname her former mentor called her, his little Lady.
