Thom was born on Nal Hutta, a slave raised for the simple purpose of fighting in the Hutts gladiatorial arenas, for sport and the entertainment of others. By the age of seven he had learned to wield a dozen blades, and by the age of ten, the blood of his first foe, his own brother, stained his hands. For the next ten years he fought in arenas across Hutt space, earning a name for himself among the crime lords and their ilk, until he encountered a member of Clan Bralor. During one of his regular fights, Thom was observed by the current Alor of Clan Bralor, and he was impressed by the combat prowess displayed by the young gladiator. The next day, as the transport carrying Thom left the world he had just fought on, it was attacked and boarded by Clan Bralor. Many of the fighters, including Thom, were set free and offered a place among Clan Bralor. All of them accepted.
Thom took to the Mandalorian culture quickly, proving himself in the eyes of Clan Bralor, and earning the close friendship of many. However, the attack against the Hutts could not go unanswered, and three years later, Clan Bralor came under assault by a mercenary company paid for by the Hutt Clans. Many members of Clan Bralor were killed in the subsequent attack, the Alor himself mortally wounded in combat against the leader of the company. The survivors gathered together in the aftermath of the assault. Of the hundreds of members of Clan Bralor present in that location, only a few dozen remained. Thom, having been adopted into the Clan a few weeks prior, stepped forward as the leader of the broken survivors, and prepared their response.
Over the next few weeks, every Hutt lord that was associated with the attack on Clan Bralor was assassinated, covertly or openly, sometimes by Thom on his own. Only then did Clan Bralor extend an offer of peace, an offer initial rejected as the Hutts called for retaliation. The death of the three leaders calling for that action quickly secured a peace deal between the two groups. As most Hutts involved were from minor lineages, the major Hutt families remained out of the affair, thanks in part to a hefty sum paid by Clan Bralor for the troubles caused. With their position secured, Thom has departed Clan Bralor, setting out to try and find a new place for himself in the galaxy.
Strengths- Butcher: Thom is an expert and lethal hand to hand and melee combat expert, having spent his entire life training with various forms of bladed weaponry, as well as knowing several different forms of close quarters combat.
- Sniper: Years spent as a bounty hunter have earned Thom recognition stained in the blood of dozens. He is an excellent sharpshooter and snapshot, and is well versed in the use of many different firearms, from ballistic weaponry to plasma based.
- Pilot: Thom has no experience in the area of piloting a vessel, having never had the chance growing up, and little interest later in his life to learn. He relies on others to get him around the galaxy.
- Cyclops: When he was younger, Thom lost his left eye in combat against a Trandoshian that was going after the same bounty as he was. He refused all offers to replace the eye, and instead relies on his training and instincts to get by, though he has a blind spot on that side of him.
