Description:
The facility was designed by the engineers of Taobh Dorcha Industries under the request of Darth Venefica. Besides Taobh Dorcha Industries, several small and meaningless companies lent resources to the construction of the facility as well. The main purpose of this facility is to create bio-weapons, viruses, deadly toxins/bacteria, and to study the genes of species and midichlorians.
The labs conduct tests on different species to determine what effects each pathogen has on them. The results are recorded and stored safely away for future use.
To ensure the safety of the workers, the labs employ ten (10) MD Series Medical Specialist Droids and seven (7) FX Series Medical Assistant Droids lend support to the scientists/bio-engineers. Each scientist/bio-engineer is required to wear their Thinsuits when working in the labs and are responsible for destroying them after their shift.
The lab's security force consists of fifty (50) Dagobah Knights who patrol both the outside and the inside of the facility, with orders to kill anything / anyone on sight that is not authorized to be here. Inside the facility, they are joined by fifteen (15) GV/3 Series Guardian Droids and five (5) 501-Z Police Droids.
The entire structure spans five (5) square blocks with a two landing pads, one located on the roof and one on the south side of the facility. There are seven (7) entrances/exits into the building but can only be accessed by employee retinal scans. The facility also houses twenty-five (25) employees who live on the site full-time. Also, there is a military barracks in the forest that houses the troops assigned there.
History:
The Covenant of the Black Rose, a secret society in the One Sith, began moving forward with their plans to bring a different aspect of horror to the galaxy. Several projects were agreed upon, and one such project was this facility.
The facility was erected in three (months). Labourers, not slaves, worked continuously around the clock in 12 hour shifts, to complete the science facility.
With the facility completed, it was time to bring in the employees that would live and work here full-time. Due to the nature of what would be taking place here, Darth Venefica had personally oversaw the hiring of the scientists/engineers, most whom were outlawed or banished from their own homeworlds for their unusual moral ethics. She didn't want people with a conscience but people who possessed questionable reputations. People who saw science as the creator and everything else as it's subjects.
