Those Who Dwell Beyond The Veil

Kathol Rift
From the cockpit viewport, Rasu was entranced by the beauty that littered the section of space. The space matter that floated through the weightless environment, light catching it from a distant star washing cool colours of blue, green and purple across the controls and interior of the piloting space. This was the Kathol Rift, something that she had been warned about by many spacers upon travelling here with her students, however she could hardly believe that a phenomenon of such brilliance could hold any danger, or is that what it wanted you to think?

Tightening her hands on the controls slightly, Rasu continued to keep her gaze directed forward, using the Force to keep her senses sharp, wary of whatever awaited them deeper into the nebula. They were risking a lot to come here, the lives of her Padawans, hopefully still seated calmly in the passenger section of the praxeum space craft. However the rewards would far outweigh the risks...hopefully. Not much was known of the Aing-Tii, the only source of information she could gain from them in the Jedi Archives was that they lived somewhere within the Kathol Rift. The Headmistress had been interested in the species and their culture ever since her Padawan days, when she had read about Master Skywalker's journey to their homeworld, coming back with a rather unique new insight into the Force and another impressive technique added to his wide palette of Force abilities; Flow walking.

At the time, an ability enabling the user to traverse both time and space seemed almost impossible, but now thinking back to the things the Shi'ido had seen during her seventy years of life, Rasu now knew nothing was entirely inconceivable. The Aing-Tii could provide the Jedi with new knowledge, even new technology that could benefit both the Republic and the galaxy for years to come. Rasu couldn't heap but admit that one of the main reasons driving her to do this was to learn the Flow walking technique but who wouldn't upon hearing the effect? She knew that her Padawans would feel the same way. The only thing stopping them from reaching Aing-Tii was the rift.

Already she could begin to feel the affects, the hallucinations beginning to alter her mind and senses. The Force seemed to have no effect, having a more powerful response upon Force-sensitives than those not attuned. With her vision becoming cloudy, she reached out to the ship intercom, warning the three Padawans who were accompanying her. "The rift is affecting our mind. Remember it is all just an illusion." she said, hoping her few words were enough to calm them, if only for a short while. Halting the ships movements, she set it to rest in the middle of the rift, entering a meditation that would hopefully expel the energies that were playing with her mind. It would not be long before they were off again, Rasu already sensing the power of the Aing-Tii, unless it was only another illusion brought upon by the Rift.

Arythe had felt the subtle change in the gravatic pull around him, the space in the rift was pulled tight by the multiple gravity wells in the nearby area. Arythe ran a diagnostics on all his medical equipment and went through the inventory of medicinal supplies he had ordered for the journey into the rift. He had ordered enough of everything to be able to preform any five surguries on any member of the crew, and enough bacta for a six month rehab. Once you were in the Rift, there generally wasnt much you could do if you forgot something. He went through the cab passing out stim packs to any nauseated by the slight change in gravity, or to reduce the negative results the rift might be taking on the crew. As he made it to the bridge he gazed out the foreward view and was awed for a moment. Usually, in space, there really isnt much to look at. When your midjump everything is bright white. And between stars you generally dont have much passing by the windows. The rift was one rare exception. Ahead was a large and particularly beautiful patch of warped space, waves of light converging and bending around the weft of space fabric. Arythe found it all quite poetic.
"Master Gan. I hope the field effects of the rift aren't causing you any distress? If so, I may have a thing or two that might help us all cope." Arythe slid into the seat next to Master Gan, gesturing with a stim pack at the scenery in front of them.

There were many things about the mission that had immediately captured Asaak's attention and imagination. She had had very little time to prepare, most of which was filled with checking and double-checking the list of things she would need. She packed a few bacta patches and painkillers of her own though from what she knew of Arythe she would not need to worry so much about that, instead focusing on bringing gear for whatever weather they might encounter and rations to carry her through a trip of significant duration. But when she had felt confident enough to leave her packing as it lay, she had ventured - of course - to the Library on Tython, accessing all she could from what Master Gan had told her and the other Padawans of their mission. She felt it best to be prepared with some forward knowledge, and what she read astounded her.

Little was known of the technique of flow-walking - so little that Asaak had never read of it anywhere else and would likely never have heard of it were it not for Rasu's own personal interest. Yes, there were many things about the mission that had captured Asaak's attention - flow-walking, the chance to widen her knowledge of the living Force, an opportunity to officially meet and work alongside Rasu's other Padawans, and possibly returning with equipment and knowledge that would aid the Republic in their struggle for peace - but what took her breath away was the idea of moving backwards in time. Despite her penchant for learning and using the force, swordplay, and the art of negotiation there was a part of Asaak that liked nothing more than to disappear in the Archives and absorb. Reading and learning was the closest thing to the Force there was in her eyes, a connection to all the things in the world that ever were. To be able to move through time, to see the events and places that she read about with her own eyes and experience them with all her senses - it was enough to set her mind to reeling! Not to mention it's practical application...imagine the things that a Jedi capable of flow-walking could learn, could bring back to his or her Order and use for the greater good of the Galaxy!

Her reeling mind was interrupted by the sudden influx of the Rift's pull. Her mind's first instinct was to panic, to struggle against the hallucinations in an attempt to break free. However all she had been learning taught her that panic would be of no help and would only lead to possibly fatal mistakes for herself and her companions. Her eyes were open as she tried to use the Force to calm herself, drawing it as best she could to dispel the hallucinations but nothing changed. The purple of her Fosh companion's skin seemed to lift from his body and float about him like some mist. She turned her head to Apakkha and saw his eyes and nose suck in to his fur, creating the illusion of a faceless Padawan. Master Gan's voice came over the comm at just the right time, a gentle reminder to Asaak that all she saw was not real, that the Padawans around her were just as before. She closed her eyes, tucking her legs underneath her and concentrating on her breath. In...out...in...out...with the rhythm she attempted to find peace as there the Force did not work as she was familiar with. It was there, it was strong, but it could not help in any way she knew out there in the Rift.

She heard Arythe talking with Master Gan and therefore kept her attention in the passenger section on her fellow Padawan. She opened her eyes once she was sure she had centered herself enough, looking to the Balinak. It was a species she was not familiar with, but she had noticed while they had all been packing that the other Padawan did not seem to speak Basic. She was at a slight loss for how to communicate as she only spoke Basic & Togruti, but she waved slightly to catch Apakkha's attention, tilting her head and giving him an inquisitive look, hoping it at least somewhat communicated that she was asking if he felt alright. Although the hallucination that he did not have eyes was still a bit unnerving.

Exiting her meditation, she looked up to find one of her Padawan's, Arythe, gazing at her. She was relieved to see that the Rift had yet to affect the Fosh, still being unaware of how her over two student's were faring. Her meditation had helped slightly, allowing her to at least place some trust in her eyes and ears again, having no longer been manipulated by the strong hallucinations created by the Rift. Climbing back into her seat, she forced a smile onto her face, if only to ease the Fosh, showing that she was feeling better than before. Starting up the engines again, she adjusted herself in the pilot's chair, trying to remain as relaxed as one could be in a situation like this. If her Padawan's were to remain calm, she would also have to maintain her own facade, knowing full well that her emotions were spinning wildly out of control within her.

"Thank you Arythe, but I'm fine for now. Let's just focus on getting to the Aing-Tii." she said, bringing her hands to rest back on the steering controls. Reaching out with the Force, she searched again for that strong aura that had called to her before her meditation, knowing that as of yet that it was their only lead as to the location of the Aing-Tii monks. Worry began to grip her, which she quickly suppressed, when her search came back with nothing, the powerful Force aura having vanished during her short meditation. However she would not give up, piloting the praxeum ship forward. There was no way out, they were lost. The bright colours of the Kathol Rift made it difficult for spacers to plot coordinates and thus making the nebula a rather impossible area to navigate. However Rasu was not one to give up, she was not going to let her students perish like this, she would search every star in the nebula if she had too. If only the hallucinations weren't slowing her down.

An idea suddenly popped into her head, one that should have been quite obvious for a Jedi of her position, however her mind wasn't working at its best today. "Arythe, reach out in the Force, see if you can sense any large, powerful Force auras in the Rift." Tightening her grip over the controls, Rasu kept her gaze focused out the viewport, placing her trust in the Fosh seated beside her. This would work, it had to work. They had no other options at this point.

Arythe stowed the rest of the stim packs into a bin at the base of his seat, freeing his hands. As she mentioned the Aing-tii, Arythe could feel the angst and worry washing from master Gan. It worried him that the highest ranking jedi on this mission was nervous, but he had immense faith in her abilities to field these types of things. As he secured his harness he also began to worry, actual piloting was where things got bumpy. While your in jump, unless you run smack into something extremely massive, you dont feel a single bump due to foreward energy shields atomizing all of the debris that mght find its way into the path of your ship. And there are no jarring turns due to the inertial dampeners that prevent tht sort of thing. But now that they were out of hyperspace, some one would have to pilot the craft at breakneck speeds and make snap decisions that the dampeners just werent designed to handle. With all those things in mind Arythe strapped the five point harness around himself and prayed for smooth sailing.
When the crew of padawans and other personel had set out at the beginning of the jump Arythe had been nervous, anxious to see what it was master Gan had in store for the team she had personally selected. But as the mission progressed and they drew near to the rift Aryth had grown increasingly sick and was confined to his birth for a span of days. In fosh sosciety, the title of Fa'alang meant the person was a master of his mind and body and Aryth was a perfect example of why. A the Fosh evolved from avian life forms on a massive planet, with hundreds of geo-magnetic poles, adapting an ability to navigate over vast distances via gravitation and magnatism. The fosh developed this ability until they were consciously mapping out terrain before they even arrived.
As the team neared the rift it was this ability that had nearly incapacitated Arythe. He spent the next few days. When he immerged from his cramped but tidy berth he was in complete control of his faculties. His inate geo-magnetic mapping ability now fully ingrossed with mapping as best he could the slowly approching Kathol Rift. By the time he had sat down in the navagaters seat by the Master, he was barely aware of the rift, and only experienced small discomfort when large gravity wells immerged to play havoc with his sixth sense.
When master Gan asked him to feel into the force and try to locate any presences out in the rift he hesitated for a fraction of a second, then closed his eyes. One by one he shut out his senses, and the force replaced them with the clarity only the force can offer. Aryth tapped a few commands into the interface and a small 3D grid of space with a blinking blue triangle to mark the position of the praxeum appeared. When that was accomplished Arythe lowered everything else that identified who he was into the cool, strong current of the force. He felt as if his essence was being tugged at, as if something were rushing past himdragging at his cloths and flesh, realiaed it was the force and allowed it to take him where it willed him. Arythe could feel his body begining to twitch with concentration and the fethers of his crest changed colors rapidly with his awareness in such a removed state. Finally something in him poped and he was torn free of whatever held him in place and was pulled quickly from where he was, his conciousnes being drawn at unbelievable speed through the blackness of space. All about him he could sense the force, almost pulsing with a faint light. It flowed around several gravity wells and beautiful scenery and began to pick up speed as it moved to a point on the distance. After a few moments aryth could sense a gigantic whirlpool of force energy around a small area in the rift and noted its location. As he turned to leave he was enexhorably drawn onwards in the tidal strength of the force, unable to return to a state of awareness. Not one given to panic, Aryth though for a moment and realized the force was not pulling him along, he was rushing through it, like water through a pipe. Arythe began to close of the conduit that conected him to the force, shutting out the force as he had his other senses, and slowly one by one his other senses returned, last of all his vision. Slowly he raised one shaking hand and tapped a course into the projection and illuminated the area he believed the force had led him to. "Master, their are powerful gravity wells here, here and here. This path should avoid them, and this area" he moved a finger in a small circle depicting the whirpoll the force had followed. " there is something very powerfull inside a strong force current. We should be extremely careful." Arythe realized then he was gasping for breath. And shaking. And his vision was growing dark around the edges...

Before the other Padawan had a chance to respond, Asaak felt a sudden, fluid rush of feeling from the front of the ship. She had a hard time finding the word for what it was, but settled on "realization". She was not yet completely skilled at reading the impulses she got through the Force but she knew enough to realize that she should at least check to make sure everything was okay. Giving Apakkha a small smile as if to show she'd be right back, she lifted herself off the bench and made her way up to the cockpit.

She slipped through the doorway, glancing between the pilot's chair and the seat next to it occupied by her fellow Padawan. "Master Gan, Arythe, is everything alright? I thought I felt --" She cut herself short when she saw the Fosh's demeanor. She had never in the admittedly short time she'd spent on the ship with him, seen his feathers shift color like that. She might have considered it normal for his species had it not been mixed with shaking and a terrible gasping for breath. The Rift was still affecting her and most of the ship seemed to be dancing beneath its power, a strange warp to every surface causing her vision to bend and sway. She blinked furiously to clear it, still opening herself to the Force by instinct to center her. But where it hadn't been working at all before she was now flooded with the Force, so much she nearly bowled over from it's immensity. It was too much, raw and powerful through her system, flowing through her too quickly for her to grasp and work with. She immediately shut herself off from it, looking back to the Fosh. She wondered if he hadn't seen the same thing and been open to it for longer than she had.

Looking around she searched for something that might help him, her eyes landing on a stimpack he must have brought up front with him. Kneeling down beside his chair her fingers wrapped around the pack, biting at her lip lightly with a sharp canine. She knew she needed to help him, but she wasn't sure this was the right way. She was not a healer and did not have the skill set he possessed to choose the right way to help. She turned her head to look up at him, hoping that his state was mostly outward and he could still hear her. "Arythe, are you alright? Do you need this stimpack?" If he said the word she'd administer it immediately, but the last thing she wanted was to worsen him further by jumping in without checking.

Im going to assume that no one else is going to post this turn and go ahead.)))

Arythe took the stimpack and injected it directly into the main artery in his neck. Immediately the blackness left him and a sudden alertness flooded his senses. Arythe was aware of the gaze of the other padawan and struggled to contain the rapidly shifting colors of his plummage. Aryth managed to settle on a green like forest trees and called it good. "Master Gan... I hope i was of some use... im not sure exectly what just happened."

Without a word, Rasu immediately piloted the ship towards the estimated location, appearing in the nav computer by Arythe's hand. The Padawan's suggestion confirmed her own estimation, that the Force was indeed calling them to the Aing-Tii, the Force had not abandoned them. Plotting in the coordinates, Rasu pushed the gear stick up, watching as the stars and gas clouds stretched into colourful streaks of light. Entering hyperspace, Rasu timed the jump to the nearest millisecond, knowing that it wouldn't take long until they had reached the destination.

A bead of sweat plummeted down along her face as she furrowed her brow in concentration. The lives of every being aboard now rested within her hands. Jumping from hyper to real space was dangerous in its own right, but here in the rift, the risk factor would be a lot higher. Taking a glimpse down at the control panels in front of her, she again estimated in her head when to jump back into real space, although even with the advanced equipment of their craft, it still wouldn't be exact. Rasu decided that if she was to have the the maximum amount of success, her trust and faith would be with the force not the technology of the ship. She opened herself to the flowing stream of the energy field, interlinking herself with the twists and turns that it took, before finally sensing a ripple in the Force. Pulling hard on the gear stick, she watched as the stars again stretched back into small pinpoints of light, with a massive, grey planet appearing in the distance.

Aing-Tii.

The Shi'ido's body seemed to tremble with both excitement and relief, although she was aware that it was only the tired state f her body causing the muscle spasms underneath her skin. They had made, and all thanks to Arythe. The Jedi Master smiled in utter relief, allowing her shoulders to slump and she felt herself sink into the pilots chair. Forcing herself to swivel to face the Fosh Padawan, she placed her hand on his shoulder, a massive grin now beaming from her face.

"Well done Arythe. Your sensory abilities have increased tenfold since your training began." she said, praising her student for the job well done. "You may have just saved everyone aboard, I hope you know that." Turning to face her other student present, [member="Asaak Tey"], she gestured for the Togruta to help her to her feet. "Asaak, could you help me out of this chair? My body has been left quite weak from our journey here, and I think once they start moving again, I'll be well enough to land the ship."

She was relieved when her fellow Padawan appeared to regain control, slowly allowing her connection to the Force to reopen as things seemed to settle slightly when the ship jumped out of hyperspace. She took her gaze from [member="Aryth"], not wanting to make him uncomfortable as his plumage settled to one color.

Aing-Tii rose before them and she found herself wondering how many others had had the chance to lay their eyes on the planet, let alone attempted to touch down on it and speak with it's inhabitants. That itch for exploration was scratching at the back of her head fiercely, the prospect of what they all might get the chance to learn tying her stomach in excited knots. But she was getting ahead of herself - they had yet to even land on the planet, and she was sure that wouldn't be the easiest of tasks if the earlier parts of the trip were any indication.

Rasu's voice took her out of her questions, a smile gracing her lips when she heard the praise that the Master gave Aryth. Although she had not been in the cockpit to see whatever feats [member="Rasu Gan"] was speaking of, it was enough to know that Aryth had potentially saved their lives. She gave the Fosh a nod of thanks as well, turning when Rasu asked for assistance. She nodded once more, reaching out and looping her arm beneath the Shi'ido's to support her as she found her feet, taking her arm back when the Master seemed steady. "Master, will we need the gas masks when we land?" she asked. She had seen them in several places on the ship and wondering if Aing-Tii's atmosphere would be breathable. It didn't seem far-fetched to believe it wouldn't, so far out here where everything felt strange. But perhaps they were merely precaution.

"I would say it'd be wise if we took some down with us. Better safe then sorry." she said, replying to the Togruta's question. Placing her hand upon the wall next her, she released her weight onto that hand, steadying herself against the steel surface. She could feel the mental effects of the rift slowly leave her body and mind, a great weight seeming to have been released from her aura. Her mind slowly regained its sharpness, just as her limbs began to strengthen with the flow of blood energising her tired muscles. Finishing the job with the Force, she rejuvenated her tired limbs, and confidently strode back to her chair, swinging it around to face the console as she piloted the craft closer to the surface. At the same time she reached out in the Force towards the planet, spreading her awareness out across the entire world. Her mind would act as a beacon, large pulses of light signalling their arrival, hoping to attract the Aing-Tii's attention so that they may give them clearance to land.

As the ship inched closer and closer to the surface, Rasu was forced to halt their progress, still awaiting a reply from the world's inhabitants. She continued to stretch out, brushing her awareness over every living thing on the planet, even though none possessed the intelligence to hold any sentience. Rasu began to fear whether the Gulag plague had reached this far out in the galaxy, perhaps even wiping out the Aing-Tii species. Abandoning etiquette, Rasu continued their approach towards the surface, finally landing upon the barren ground. Completing the final cooling procedures, Rasu took a moment to scan the area, finding nothing but rocks scattered across the gray-brown soil.

With a heavy heart, Rasu swiveled in her chair as she stood up. "Let's grab those breath masks and start an initial search of the planet. No one split up, we'll stick together. This is still foreign territory and may hold traces of the plague still." she said, looking at both Asaak and Aryth. She knew she could count on them and had trust that whatever was out there, they could handle together. Leaving the cabin, she grabbed one of the masks as she made her way to the boarding ramp, punching a button causing it to extend. Warm, stale air brushed her lips and nose as the mask compressed onto her face. Descending the ramp, she heard a crunch as her boot rested upon the sandy surface. Her heart was beating a million miles per hour as she looked out across the vast plain, nothing but sand and rocks could be seen for miles. Is this all that is left of the Aing-Tii? she thought, her body seeming to shake with every heart beat.

"... All just an illusion ... ", she heard the Masters voice. All just an illusion, she repeated over and over in her mind as if chanting a mantra. Coci is on the verge of panic, her hands gripping the arm rest of the seat she is strapped into .. her knuckles white and her body wet with sweat. She hates flying at the best of time, the best place for her in these situations is in the pilot seat and in control of the ship. The lack of control now coupled with the effects of the Kathol Rift, effected her mind and she struggled to maintain her focus, something she prides herself on .. had simply vanished.

Her breath now laboured and her chest heaved the sounds of breath issuing from her mouth in shuddered whispers. She rested her head against the back part of the seat and closed her eyes to gather herself and try to pull in her mind to clarity. But to no avail. She did not enter the conversation around her, quite simply she could not as the rising vile in her stomach began to burn her throat and she now had to fight to keep the contents of her stomach from aborting her body.

In the back of her mind, she heard the engines of the ship, roar as the thrusters went into reverse to indicated they are about to land. With a shaking body and mind she willed the ship onward to the surface and as the landing struts touched the firm ground her body let out a sigh of relief. For the moment she remained seated to steady herself and regain composure. Trembling hands reached up to undo the harness that held her to the seat, and with weak legs she stood and gathered her equipment and back pack. It was only now that she looked to the others on this mission and noted they had gathered breathing masks and so did she.

Reaching the lowered ramp, and with mask firmly in place she joined Master Gan on the sandy surface of the planet. A desolate place of unending sand stretched out before them, she moved to be beside the Jedi Master but did not say a word.

Asaak nodded when she received her instructions from Rasu, falling in with Aryth. She knew it would be important to stick close to those she knew and trusted and that he was her responsibility to watch their backs as much – if not more – than her own.

As the mask clamped to the lower half of her face, a second of staleness before the breather caught up with itself, she exited the ship slightly behind her Master. She let the Force flow through and outside of her, a much quieter connection now that they’d traversed the thickest of the Rift. It was strange to think that a plague that had she had never personally seen, and that had died out a century before her existence was even a thought, could threaten her now.

She imagined the Force as a wave, slipping through cracks and crevices and pooling around boulders covering the surface, feeling for any response but receiving nothing but the simplest signs of life in return. Things grew and went about their lives here, but she could feel nothing that she would expect from force users like the Aing-Tii were rumored to be. But…

Quietly, she closed the distance between herself and Rasu, giving Coci a nod. She hesitated to break what felt like total silence, the seeming abandonment of the planet making her feel like her voice would be far too loud. She tested out a small hum, just to see how easy it would be to speak through the mask, before murmuring to her Master, loud enough for the others to hear as well. Her voice was metallic through the mask’s processors but did not shatter the silence as she feared. “Master…is it possible that the Aing-Tii would be hiding themselves? Could they hide so large a group in the Force?” Her powers were growing every day, but were nowhere near as strong as her Master’s. It was more than likely the Shi’ido could feel something the Togruta could not, but she was comfortable voicing her musings around Rasu.

In the dim grey light Arythe could really focus the excellent eyes he possessed. Sometime before his spicies had evolved a high functionung brain they had developed literaly perfect eyesight, and to augment hunting from extreme hights they had developed six sets of clear eyelids that functioned as magnifying lenses and thermal detection systems.. It was this set of lenses, the thermal non-magnifying lenses that he flicked over his eyes.
With a casual glance around , slowly taking in the scenery of sand, dirt, gravel , and small to large boulders off in the distance he subconsciously made a list of possible attack and retreat routes through them. His thermal vision offered only the deep blues and blacks of exteme cold. With only the foot prints of his fellow padawans and master Gan being a very light green fast fading to blue he felt logically that they were alone, and safe. But the force, his closest ally whispered into his ear. It was nothing tangible, no bright alarms wringing in his head. Only a soft 'Beware, not all is as it may seem', and after a moment it passed. Before he had left the craft he had placed his Avian rebreather over the nostrils in his beak, alowing him to breath normaly and without imparing his ability to speak. He assessed his equipment, not wanting toforget anything in a rush to join his team. His saber hung at his waist. It was a secial design he had made. He called it a saliste, the handle was thin only about an inch around, and slightly curved to fit the hand better. Its blade was a soft purple in the light and a violent purple black when there wasnt mach light. What made his blade different though was the thickness, the energy blade was only marginaly thicker than a wookies hair, and about a meter long. In a regular saber, a blade that thin could never stand up in combat. The higher energy of an oppossing saber would overwhelm and pass throgh the blade. Arythe had built this saber himself and had designed a series of differential energy repeaters and an entirely knew emmiter system to fit the design. All in all, it was a blade that could hack through steel and do battle like any other lightsaber, but it also had the finesse to carve the wings off a fly, one at a time with the flic of a wrist.
Arythe had worn only a small vest and leggings, and a tacticle belt with three small pouches on his left hip and a large pouch on his right. Each contained sample taking equipment and medical supplies. Recording equipment and communication devices were in the large pouch. On his left forearm he carried a master pad, that would record and transmit all vital statistics of the team to him for analysis, and since this planet may have been exposed to and untreated for the plague, medical data was a priority. If anyone showed symptoms of the slightest degree, as medical officer for this expidition, Aythe would be forced to quaranteen the person and evacuate the team from the planet.
Arythe doubted things would get that severe, and doubted that the plague was present on the planet at all, but he was unwilling to risk his friends lives on his possitive thinking. Walking to the middle of the group he held out the transmision devices, they would transmit the vital data and opperate as a com system if they had to seperate. " if you would all please take one. I will tether them to my device." Arythe held them out and tapped a few commands into his master pad. "The device is a patch designed to adhere to the skin on your neck, and you may feel a slight pinch, very slight." Arythe explained to the group what they were for and how to adhere them and waited for someone to grab one...
