In many ways this will be the easiest thread to manage as far as story. For clarity’s sake I’ll refer to North, South, East, West edges on the map. The map will be taller north-south than it is wide east-west.
The Rogue Sith Fleet will start on the western edge of the map, protecting the Omega.
Galactic Alliance and other allies of theirs will enter in the south-east. One Sith and their allies (if any) will enter from the north-east.
The way it is therefore arranged will give both sides the option of attacking both the Rogue Sith and their enemies, though the Omega is closer.
The objectives will be as follows:
Thinking of adding some random events to spice things up, maybe a blast of the Omega weapon which has to be avoided, or obstacles like mines or something.
I do want this to be an impressive battle, so going to 20,000 metres per major faction taking part. I’ll match this amount with ½ to 2/3 of that total in Rogue Sith. Depending on how many people are involved.
I’ll set the usual movement rules: 21 – (speed) for new template or 11 – (speed) for those using the old template.
As I’m playing the NPC Rogue Sith they’re going to suffer heavy casualties. That’s all part of the fun.
To keep things moving and not get bogged down I’m going to have people group escorts (corvettes, frigates, light cruisers) together in single hexes. Same with attack craft (fighters, bombers, interceptors) from a single ship will be grouped in units by type. What bogs the thread down so much is people sending a single corvette here, a fighter squadron there etc.
How does that sound, any issues or questions?

- Win the battle by destroying more metres of ships than your enemies. This can be both Rogue Sith and enemy Major Factions.
- Break through the Rogue Sith and move ships off that map edge. These metres count double when judging winners.
- Destroy Immortals. It’s a tradition.
