Three questions about Laminanium

1.) Is it lightsaber/energy resistant? The Wookieepedia article is extremely vague, and the community probably knows more about Laminanium through what the site allows then Wookieepedia can tell me.

2.) How fast does it heal? Again, vagueness.

3.) How much Laminanium does a dev thread give you? If I were to, say, sell the Laminanium to someone since I really have no use for it... How much do I have to sell? (Self dev thread, 16 posts, 2,271 words, [X])

Ty in advance to anyone that answers anything. I only did the Laminanium objective because I thought it would be fun... Now I've got to decide what to do with my self-repairing metal. And i've seen people use it before in a variety of ways, so i'd like to know specifics before I do anything.

From the materials it is made out of (molytex and quantum fiber) I'd say it isn't saber resistant. And judging by the YVH 1 model, it takes quite some time for repairs to be done.

I'd go and get a YVH series made, then unleash them on the galaxy to purge it of the Jedi.

In regards to the how much, that typically varies by the work done. More work, can use the thread as justification for larger quantities.

it isn't lightsaber-resistant, per say. It just can reform from a cut.

So, let's say I send a YVH after Saran. She cuts into it (If she survives long enough to get that close, but for the sake of the argument, she will) and strikes the shoulder. The saber cuts in, but as she draws back, the metal begins to close back in on itself.

The stuff on the YVH can recover from a turbolaser equivalent in a day.
