APPEARANCE:
Tibera is quite an imposing figure. They stand well over six feet in height, with a broad frame covered completely by metal. Their all black Commando Armor gives them protection from head-to-toe. Emblazened on the chest of this armor in white is a series of numbers (071) as well as on each bicep. Beneath the eye slots one can see dull green eyes staring back at them. When outside the armor Tibera tends to wear loose fitting clothes, especially short sleeved shirts and vests. On rare occasions they can be found in formal suits, usually black with white or gray pin stripes.
BIOGRAPHY:
Tibera was a child of the outer rim, for all of the unfortunateness that entailed. Their mother was a manager at a gambling den, and Their father was charged with running the fight pits. Nearly from birth he trained young Tibera to join the fights as his personal ringer. The training hardened Tibera's body, but kept them from ever knowing a normal childhood.
From ages sixteen to nineteen they fought in the pits, taking on challengers from all across the outer rim. One night a former challenger sought revenge on Tibera for what he thought was a rigged bout. He and several other fighters jumped Tibera, and then set them on fire.
Unable to continue the fights, Tibera sought another vocation where her brawn could be put to use. They then used their winnings to buy an armored suit, and the required permits to become a mercenary. Within the first year of being a mercenary, their band ended up crossing paths with a gang of pirates. Heavy losses were taken on both sides, with Tibera having to fight off multiple pirates with an improvised club. Months after the brutal conflict, Tibera began to seek their fortune as a freelancer among the stars.
Seeking to distance themselves from the bounty placed on their head, the Mercenary fled to the Tion Cluster hoping for some kind of reprieve. While hiding out, she found an open call for mercenaries from an at the time small faction known as the Empire of the Lost. With the payout being in the thousands of Imperial credits, Tibera couldn't possibly refuse. The mission was a classified operation on Mon Calamari to retrieve special starship components. Being thoroughly unprepared for wet work, the Mercenary foolishly attempted to threaten a guard. Which would lead to the mission becoming compromised. While much of the record of the events has been scrubbed, the mission does coincide with the loss of a Mon Calamarian research installation via catastrophic malfunction in life support.
Surprisingly, the Empire of the Lost was still impressed by their combat performance on the mission. This lead to a meeting with Imperial command which would lead to regular employment for the Mercenary. They were even granted the official rank of corporal within the Imperial Army, which was supposedly an honor for mercenaries. Since then Tibera has taken on many missions for the Empire and their allies across the galaxy. Some rumors even indicate an involvement with a group known only as "The Unit"
