Mygeeto - Garrison Tower
[member="Kade Kelborn"] | [member="Laguz Vald"]

The blade stabbed forward, protruding from his knuckle and sinking deep into the Mandalorian's neck.

The man clasped as his throat as Kiran stepped back, letting him fall with a loud thump of armor and a slight gurgle as his faculties were lost on him. Within seconds the guard lay dead on the floor, his body twitching. The Mercenary observed the man for a second, then slowly turned towards his companions. He shrugged, then stepped over the corpse and moved on. Those with him quickly fell into step, each one lugging their weapon as they made their way across the bridge.

Mygeeto was a worthless world, well, mostly.

It was populated with bankers and miners, that was really it. Centuries ago the Muun's had begun the exploitation of this world for it's vast gem deposits, a practice that was maintained to this day.

The cities of Mygeeto were a self contained set of pillar like towers that reached into the sky, each one interconnected via a system of bridges. They were all put together somehow, a fact that made them rather difficult to assault, or defend depending on what exactly you were doing. Luckily for Kiran and his gang of licensed murderers, they had little of no intention in fighting a stand out war. The last time true battle had come to Mygeeto was during the Clone Wars, when droid and Clone Armies had battled it out across the massive canyon like expanses and from tower to tower.

Saeva wouldn't be doing that today.

They had their eyes on one tower and one tower alone, the one containing a garrison of Mandalorian Soldiers. He didn't know their names, he didn't know their ranks, nor did he care. All he cared about was taking the tower, ransacking it for all it held, and then showing this new Empire just what it meant to be Mandalorian. Kiran smirked as he wandered across the final bridge, looking up at the tower just ahead of him.

Mygeeto was ugly, let's all just face it. It's a cold, dark, and generally depressing planet to be on. So that was why everything was about to change due to the magical power of gentrification, take all that old stuff, get rid of it, and then make something new and exciting on top of it. A real step forward for the people of the Mandalorian Empire to show that their Mand'alor cared. A real spitting image of [member="Isley Verd"] giving a thumbs up with one hand and a hang loose with the other, he was just that cool of a guy.

So when the intruders shanked poor old Sticky Joe who was only two weeks out from his retirement he would be avenged. Not by bullets or bounties, but by the sound of music.

The sound of some random rock band would start to play over the old emergency systems of the city surrounding the large towers of Mygeeto and it would appear that old Sticky Joe was the last man to leave the neighborhood and the particular tower that the band of raiders had their eyes on. Because everything was abandoned and empty when the music danced through the war torn streets and towers. And you know as they say.

Tick Tick... Boom

Violent explosions rocked the tower, the empty towns, and shook the earth beneath the mercenaries feet that should be running in the opposite direction due to the very large amount of explosions headed towards him and his home boys. But at least they'd have a good sight of the tower they so desperately wanted to destroy along with others crumble down into the ground creating wave of dust mixed with a hint of asbestos. Asbestos was a real queen.

Booted feet came to a crunching halt. A thick cloud of asbestos rolled over the cadre in the wake of the spires sudden and unexpected implosion. Fortunately, Kade wore a helmet that prevented the nasty, unhealthy particles from contaminating his lungs. Unfortunately, it also coated his armor in a thick layer of powder.

Kelborn surveyed the destruction.

"Typical."

The unit kept walking forward into the smog of pulverized permacrete, asbestos and drywall. Accurate intel reports were too much to ask for in this galaxy.

Eventually, they came to a stop in the center of the wreckage. Kade knelt, examining the ground.

"[member="Kiran Vess"], it is here."

Out with the old, in with the new, as the saying commonly went. Or in this case, out with the war-torn and in with something that could actually stand up to the duress of combat if and when times called. And for some reason it had been decided that she was a suitable person to oversee the destruction of what was essentially a small town that had already been leveled by controlled explosions. More like than not it had been a job no one else had jumped at, and so it had fallen to her. And, as always, something was out of place, heralding something else on the horizon. Something more dangerous than simple demolition. At least she had brought her armor along.

The lifeform scanners that were active in order to keep the impromptu demolition zone as safe as possible had picked up the signatures of three unknown individuals in the blast zone after the detonation. On top of that, one of their own had been killed in the seconds before the bombs went off. Something was wrong. Standing from her chair, she opened a channel on the comms to the others of the Mandalorian Empire that were reasonably nearby and able to convene on the surface. "Three bogeys on the surface on Mygeeto. I'm operating on a hunch right now, but I haven't been wrong before. I'd like more eyes down here, if you're so inclined."

But she wouldn't wait for their arrival. No, she donned her armor, fully arming herself for yet another war zone. The others could arrive when they wished. She was going to handle this now, her own way. "I've taken the liberty of marking their location. Who do you think this is?" As always, her AI was there to provide conversation when no one else was. "I've got a few ideas. But we'll just have to see when we get there." "Walking into things blind yet again. Wonderful." "Hey, it's worked out well enough so far." "I don't think encountering the Yuuzhan Vong responsible for your loss of limbs and nearly your life is considered 'working out.'" "No one's died." "Yet."

By this time she had reached the streets, following both the guidance of the AI and her own sixth senses in order to locate these trespassers. It would end in a fight, but then, everything always did. The only real variable was who it was against and what they brought into things. From then on it was simply time to have fun in one of the few ways she knew how. Once the three came into sight her pace slowed, and she halted within conversational distance, breaking the silence after a few moments, "Can I help you aruetiise find something?"

You Gone Done it Now Boys.

Click of his neck, he’d got the call. Had been expecting it you might say, preparing ahead of time, after one of their own did exactly the same, and again at the battle of the republic another mandalorian had claimed the title. Time to kill his first Dar’Manda? Possibly, they’d need to confirm, for now it might just be warriors looking for a fight. Kas shoved his red armored helmet on, making small prick on his hand to ready himself, drawing first blood. Gloves were fitted and he was ready.

Watching the structure come down with less care than you might expect, his work often saw worse. For now they were just warriors meeting warriors, afforded the personal respect of such from the Varad watching. If Mandalorians were involved attacking Mandalorian soil, things would not be respectful. The armor he wore was mix of wild tribal markings and Varad symbol clearly on the front. Scars from the bounty hunters work worn across the durasteel.

Stealth field on, he readied his scope. He didn’t make himself known, though anyone with the force would likely feel his presence. Did he see [member="Kade Kelborn"] in mandalorian armor, did he see his clan markings on [member="Kiran Vess"] or [member="Kade Kelborn"] if not? Keeping to himself in a building some distance away. Kas was ruthless, picked because he was, he’d give a Dar’Manda no quarter, or respect attacking Mandalorian targets. Or he’d meet them face to face if they were warriors seeking battle instead, by the small armory crate next to him, his choice of weapons would reflect which they had chosen to come as.

Any eyes watching [member="Kiran Vess"] and [member="Kade Kelborn"] approach would probably see more than three people. Saeva worked in small groups, but never that small.

Also, none of those would be Laguz. Xe was not a frontliner, and xe was even less suited to close-quarters of any kind. The kind of work xe did was best conducted at a range of 200 to 500 meters, with a high-powered rifle and extensive camouflage.

The mercenary had quietly set up a ways off from xir charges, molded to xir surroundings like the good shapeshifter xe was. The only significant other who’d endured with xem through thick and thin, Tessie, lay in the firm grasp of his flesh. Already, xe could feel her excitement – no, yearning – to split some Mando open.

Soon, my dear.

With some beskar bullets on hand, Laguz was ready to start shooting at the first sign of trouble.

Aleksander Miles walked along behind Kiera Ticon grumbling darkly as he moved he hated working as back up but he supposed he had to get used to it he wasn't as strong as most force users yet. He gently ran his hands over the various pistols strapped across his form making sure they were all snuggly fit into their holsters as he moved. They slowed him down a bit but he had started working on a certain force power that helped counteract that Force Body was one of the powers primarily used by his Father. He drew the pair of Good Smiritans holding the two pistols up as he grinned darkly behind the helmet of his armor.

There was the sound of a creaking hatch as Sera pulled open the hatch that [member="Kade Kelborn"] had found just moments ago, the rusted metal shrieking as it was broken apart. Kiran cringed slightly, turning towards the woman that had spoke to him. He could hear Kade and Sera move behind him, the latter half holding the trap door open as the Zeltros grinned towards the Mandalorian woman [member="Keira Ticon"].

"Us?" He said with a smile, pheromones beginning to flood the air around him. They were not nefarious in nature, not evil, simply calming.

"No no." The Mercenary gestured. "We just got lost is all. Really it was the damnedest thing. We were walking along this bridge here, then all of a sudden there was a torrent of explosions, the buildings started coming down all around us and this massive cloud of debris just rose up in the air."

Kiran gestured to all around them, the thick haze of dust still obscuring vision beyond even a few feet. "Hard to believe we made it out alive, but then again, some of us are just lucky, ya know?"

The mercenary shook his head as though he simply couldn't believe that life had lead him this way. It was hard to tell if the man was incompetent, joking, or simply insane, yet the way he moved and spoke made it seem as though he were completely genuine in the words he said. Behind him Kade and Sera had both moved through the trap door to the underground, the two Mandalorians having left the heavy steel plate up in the air as Kiran made his overtures of greeting.

"If you don't mind, we'll just be going now." Kiran gave the woman a happy wave, then hopped through the trap door and into the tunnels below.

There should have only been the one life sign in the previously floating city that Mygeeto was famous for, its towers reaching into the air with a frozen Permafrost ground below. There were no tunnels, no escape routes, nothing for miles but ice and rock that was left be for hundreds of years. This was until the day of today, in which a section of the city was to be destroyed as it had been growing too old to upkeep and as such had been evacuated, the miles of bridges and buildings having fallen to the ground... and yet those life signs survived it seemed, scanning an all clear on the sensors and prompting an immediate response.

There were two groups Solan could see on the readout he had infront of him as his soldiers flew down to the recently fallen towers and the world of ice and stone. They had fallen hundreds of meters and yet every being was still reading an all clear... except for the Mandalorian that had stayed to oversee the final preparations and then call for evac which was why Solan had been coming in the first place, when his vitals had fallen flat, something had gone wrong for sure, then shortly after the entire sector was dropped down the ground as expected.

This was what made him suit up with his Shadow Legionnaires, the elite force that he had overseen the training and active combat time and time again in every engagement they had been in. While not as famed or excelled as the legendary five o-first of the Sith's days, or even their blackblades... or whatever it was Zambrano called them. But they were still far more combat ready than most and this is why Solan favored them to any force the Mandalorians had on hand... that and their loyalty to him. The appearance of the unknown individuals so soon after the events of Mimban and the Station terror attack by the Dar'Manda Saverok had left the Empire with one clear enemy, and another who could turn either way depending on the actions of a few... he hoped these were not those few.

None the less he hung on as three Umbra Class Dropships moved through the air and towards the remains of the sector, tracing the lifesigns and letting Ticon deal with the larger group while his dropships moved into towards the location of a single signature, he could not tell of they were armed, nor see with whose side they were on, but considering the location being a semi still standing tower, and the fact that this being was still alive... it was no common civilian and there was no way that it was standing on that tower for no reason.

"Switch to heat..."

His voice rung out to the pilots as they nodded back to him, doing so being that trying to find the lifeform would be impossible by eyes alone. Even with that said though he surrendered his own eyes to the force as they closed, looking for disturbances in its flow and more importantly the strand that connected all lifeforms to the force. He would not look for the being itself but how it affected the force and that was how he would find a being even if it were force dead, because while not all beings were sensitive to the force... all were still alive, and that meant the force reacted to their presence.

"Put me over the speakers, run flood lights, have all dropships ready to fire on the tower if the lifeform is a hostile..." He waited for the comm to be handed to him before speaking, his voice amplified over the craft's speakers and waiting for the lifeform to present itself or be shot on. "You are in a restricted area, and are not Mandalorian Empire personnel. We will find you, and fire on you unless you come out with your hands raised and all if any weapons are surrendered. If you do not, you will be shot at and killed without hesitation. You have ten seconds to comply." He turned off the comm and looked at the man. "Fire in five seconds, focus on anything that moves or any eat signatures above the planet's natural temperature... inform the other dropships to do so to."

Scruffy Lookin’ Nerfherder
The asbestos covered Mandalorian gave a noncommittal grunt. Any distinguishing markings on Kade's armor were completely covered in the thick layer of dust.

[member="Kiran Vess"] was mercenary through and through, but not of the Mando'ade. He talked where a vod would act, stalling long enough for Kade to hop down through the trap door just ahead of the Saevan. Kade's feet hit the ground below and he kept walking into the interior.

The armored woman who had confronted them sounded like [member="Keira Ticon"], though with muffled voice and unfamiliar armor Kelborn could not be certain.

Many threats and shouts came from above ground. Kade paid them no heed. Wasted air.
