The first mass produced fighter for the Battlefleet Vandemar was a version of the omni-present imperial TIE series. Developed at the Aresian Shipyards by the Forgelords of the Legions, they starfighter was to perform its duties as a standard fighter within the doctrine of the Battlefleet. The simple and proven design allowed for a swift production and to supply most ships with this fighter as screening force. The including of a hyperdrive was seen as necessary to properly be fielded with the Vandemarian fleet tactics.
The Mark II Minor is the smaller version of the interceptor, the Mark III Maior and is the work-horse of the Vandemarian starfighters, designed to hit hard and excel in dogfights, it is both suited to harass larger ships as well as take on other fighters. Its pilots are drawn from the Auxillary troops all over Vandemar and visit extensive flight schools both in atmosphere and space.
