Description:
Recognizing that the First Order’s Starfighter Corps would soon be engaging in more demanding naval operations – the Naval Intelligence Bureau suggested to the Supreme Commander the creation of a TIE Electronic Warfare type for the purposes of assisting Tie Starfighters with space superiority operations.
This gave birth to the TIE/FO-EW First Order Electronic Warfare Tie Fighter. The FO-EW is designed to dominate the immediate space around it with powerful jamming devices, which include:
- Tactical Sensor Jammer: Which is designed to spray its immediate area with directed sensor jamming waves severely hindering enemy sensors and targeting computers, as well as blocking all communications in the given area.
- Directional Jamming Beam: Which could focus a single concentrated jamming beam on an enemy starfighter effectively jamming beam was a projection weapon that disrupted the fire control systems of the "painted" craft. Once "painted", attacking craft could attack their target unhindered by defensive fire
