- Why Can't I Shake Them?!: Designed as Interceptors of the Modern Era, the Hunter Killers are designed to switch for Higher Maneuverability or Higher Speed when required in combat with the expressed dire to kill other Interceptors with their own.
- Not a Capital Fighter: There is no heavy munitions on board, just energy weaponry. This makes it difficult for the interceptors to do any form of combat against starships larger than small crafts.
- Ejector Seat, Still Missing: As if a poor joke, none of the TIE/HK still have ejector seats, meaning if one was to be destroyed...best hope you can pop the canopy in a hurry.
- Paper Thin Hull: One could simply shoot at it with a blaster and if the shield system is not activated, damage could easily be dealt. This was the sacrifice given when getting more speed, if shields are to go down, better keep moving!
TIE/HK Interceptor was considered one of the most deadly to come out of the Have Gun Will Travel factories, along with various other models during its time in the Elysium Empire. When a request came through for new orders through Angel Arms, it was no secret that Angelus wanted to have a run and remaster various models of his predecessor, one being the Hunter Killer model of the Twin Ion Engines. Gathering more forms of parts, along with tinkering with new formulas, the Metal Lord had succeeded in creating something truly different, having improved upon fuel consumption, various engine improvements as well as maneuverability upgrades through various company contacts. With even new weapon models, unhindered by contractual obligations, the TIE/HK II Interceptor was soon go be unveiled to the masses...more importantly, to be sold to the Ascendant Order.
