STRENGTHS
- Quality Has A Quantity All Its Own: Mainly prioritizing squadron size and maneuverability in its design the TIE Outlander is suitable to be one of the mainline fighters of the New Imperial Order fleet, following a cheap and standardizing manufacturing process and an inbuilt droid brain piloting system the Outlander is a swift and viable mainline fighter.
WEAKNESSES
- Minimal Independence: Harkening back to post Galactic Empire designs of more independent TIE Fighter variants the TIE/OTx still prizes raw assets over powering its onboard hyperdrive, allowing it some degree of independence from providing carriers as its meant to be utilized in projecting power in outer worlds however this is shortsighted in making it less effective outside of larger squadrons or supporting carriers.
After the fall of Palpatine's Galactic Empire, the remnants utilized and developed in some form an Outland TIE Fighter to patrol more isolated worlds under the fading control of the Imperial Warlords. In a similar set of circumstances, the New Imperial Order revamped and redeveloped the fighter with a suite of technology from their corporate ally in the Technoid Manufactorum in order to provide a mobile and effective means of projecting power across their territory as they tame the unclaimed worlds in neutral space.
