STRENGTHS

• Decimator: The TIE Ravager is equipped with three laser cannons as well as two ion cannons. This allows the starfighter to neutralize an enemy crafts shields, making it an easier target for the laser cannons.
• Astromech: The TIE Ravager comes standard with an astromech unit used to help direct the ship at the high velocities and maneuvers that the craft is capable of achieving. In worst case scenarios, it is capable of piloting the craft back to its home base if the pilot is incapacitated.

WEAKNESSES

• Splitter: The high energy requirement to fire the ion cannons forces the ship to divert power from the laser cannons, meaning there will be a brief pause in between firing the two different weapons when an enemy craft could escape.
• Shields: The TIE Ravager lacks any form of shielding, and the pilot must rely on their flying capabilities and the speed of the craft to keep them alive.

DESCRIPTION
The TIE Ravager is the second project developed by Shan Pellian for use by the greater Diarchy military. Taking inspiration from standard TIE fighter designs, Pellian decided that he wanted a more versatile craft, capable of neutralizing the Diarchy's enemy strike craft, often equipped with superior shielding. The addition of ion cannons into the design of the Ravager was the key component of that strategy. With this weapon, flights of TIE Ravagers could engage enemy in wave assaults, with some of the craft using ion cannons to weaken the enemy line, allowing the second wave to decimate their for with the laser cannons. With the endorsement of Shan Pellian, the Ravager is rapidly becoming a mainstay of the Diarchy task forces.
