Time isn't as important as life is(Spencer/Ashin)

A long while ago he remembered he was running through the forests of Dathomir, not even bothering to take a look at what was behind him. It was the greatest feeling in the world in his opinion. Aston loved running, not running way from anything, just running in general, especially when it came to running through the forest. Nothing seemed as vicious as mother nature did. Although his time with the Jedi, had taught him a few things, as did a few others. Taught him the way of life, what was actually out there. However here lately he couldn't do that as much as he could. While he was planet side for a long amount of time, then when he started travelling he was hearing things and he felt like he had vanished for 10 years and returned suddenly. Now he had finally emerged again, trying to find his rightful place in the galaxy, a place where he felt he belonged. The journey to that place was the greatest thing of all, getting to that place and relishing in his absolution.

That had yet to come go, he was perfectly happy living life as it came for the time being.

Word had reached his ears of his sister and her partner Ashin. As he sat in his starfighter he chuckled lightly as the thought of the first time that he met Ashin. When the wedding took place, his father Kamon, oh dear that was a terrible day. Could have been managed a lot better by his father whom he saw at the current time was blinded by his own pride instead of being happy for his daughter and as it seemed further alienated the twins from Kamon, well on Aston's part he felt that was what it felt like. Aston was happy for Spencer for everything that she had going for her. And now he was on his way to Annaj, to speak with her, and with Ashin, and to see the niece they had taken in. While his visit was a little unexpected, he hadn't informed them of his impending visit. Then again, with his and Spencers mind, she probably knew even before Aston himself actually knew he was coming. The young man entered the atmosphere that was Annaj, the planet itself a complete stranger to him. It wasn't anything he couldn't handle though. Clearing his credentials and what not through Fringe space as he docked his fighter. Aston donned an almost type of rebel tactical gear. A blaster pistol on his left side and his lightsaber dangling on his right side from his belt. Aston was stopped suddenly as it seemed he was one of the lucky ones to get shaken down by the security of this spaceport. They searched him, and he stood off to the side as he waited for them to finish searching his vessel.

All the while he wondered what Spencer was doing as he leaned back against one of the many crates that was in the spaceport keeping a close eye on the 2 going through his fighter.

Spencer had felt him enter her region of space. She knew his intentions and quickly began the process of getting ready. She ran down the hallway of the home her and Ashin shared with [member="Ibaris Varanin-Jacobs"]. Today the child would meet Spencer's twin brother and her uncle. Trying to find something in the kid's wardrobe that would show that she was in good care and hopefully impress the man that was making his way towards them. Seemed nothing worked for her, so she looked towards Ibaris and smiled. “You get to pick out what you want to wear to meet Uncle Aston.” Leaving the kid to her own muse, Spencer went down toward her room to pick something out for herself. It had been awhile since she had been face to face with Aston.

As she ran her hands through different dresses and other clothing, she remembered how inseparable they were as younglings and children. What had changed? Frowning, she pin pointed the exact moment when they were taken away from each other. She had chose to follow Ashin instead of remaining a Jedi in the corrupt system. Sighing softly, she didn't fully blame that incident – truly in her mind it was her father's wedding. He had completely forgotten that he had a life before this Hanna and now he's off and disappeared. Which from rumors, Hanna had gone off found some sort of way to divorce Kamon or something, then she was seen spotted with another woman. Pressing her fingers against the bridge of her nose she inhaled deeply and calmed herself. May the Force bless [member="Hanna Vondiranach"] and that she never meets Spencer again for as long as she lived. Removing the woman from her thoughts she grabbed a soft fabric dress that hung off her slender body just right. Quickly getting ready she sent a message to Ashin, who was probably busy doing buisness as usual. It would be nice for the two to see each other in a different setting – either way Spencer was just happy to see Aston and for Ibaris to meet family.

Speaking of Ibaris, the kid's been a bit too quiet. This caused Spencer to put down the brush she had picked up and head down to the girl's room.

“Ibaris?”

Waiting. Waiting was hard, sometimes. Okay, most of the time.

Scratch that... all of the time. She had an impatient streak a mile long, but she honestly did try very hard to be patient, even if it meant sitting on her hands sometimes. However, this was one of those rare times that waiting was the easiest thing in the world. The hard part was trying not to giggle. Maybe this time, mommy would scream.

Eventually mommy would come to check on her, but that 'eventually' felt like an eternity as she hid in the closet, listening. She was getting despondent, just about to give up when she heard footsteps. Ibaris had to cram muffling hands over her mouth to stifle a giggle. So close! It almost got out!

“Ibaris?”

One... two... three...

...and the five-year-old, hazel-eyed girl came rampaging out of her bedroom closet in a wild, unstoppable frenzy, roaring as best as her young voice would allow, and charging head-first at mommy in her one-and-only, favourite terentatek costume.

"RAAAAAARRWRRRRRRGGGGH!!!"

Maybe it would scare this 'Uncle Aston' away.
