Timeline?

I am wondering if the timeline is only 844 aby? Or is it changeable? Because I have a character derived from the clone wars and if it isn't I will change his bio.

The year is 844 ABY, it won't be changed before the next event. You should change your bio instead. We have many characters who are from earlier times, but none from before the Clone Wars though.

The timeline is indeed set in 844ABY. We have had a few others write charactors from the Clone Wars and most, if not all, rewrote parts of their bios to fit the new timeline.

Then again, being frozen in carbonite for nearly a millenia is also a very popular choice.

In any case it's about fun, do what feels right for you but keep the settings to 844ABY and beyond.

The setting is indeed 844ABY . . . . but RP'ers are allowed to RP in the past. I've seen quite a few people RP in the past, but nothing as extreme as 800 years ago. You would be better off RPing in the present.

Adding to that, RPing in the Clone Wars era is practically not allowed because it would feature canon characters.
