Timey Wimey Stuff

Location: Somewhere near Rhand

Beth sat in the chair in the private quarters on the small sized transport. Besides a large kitchen, several living areas, and a large quarters section, the ship was eerily quiet. The ship was nearly fully automated and the only living souls on the ship was her and [member="Cleru"]. Most of the ship was full of their items – moving back to the palace in Sundari, at least until they could find out their next move. The impending collapse, or restructuring, or whatever from Chiss space meant Cleru was now free to pursue his own life.

At least she had time to think, talk, and figure out their next plan. With so many refugees fleeing into the Unknown Regions - and with the recent figure of 6 trillion, and the conference between the several important figures of the leaders of the refugees, including herself... Well, she had plans. Plans to help them, and maybe that meant moving elsewhere once more.

But Beth wanted to go home. At least for a little bit. She missed her family much, and wanted the time to spend with them once more. And perhaps, they could move elsewhere that wouldn’t be so far. They had the galaxy, kind of, at their fingertips. Beth sighed as she ran her fingers down her large belly. It seemed like yesterday she was in complete despair over her pregnancy. But now? She really wouldn’t have it any other way.

She pondered where Cleru was as she simply laid in the chair, relaxing in her dress. She perked a brow, an ear twitching slightly at some turbulence that bumped her in the chair. That was unusual. But who knew, the ship was in hyperspace.

Cleru stepped right up behind [member="Beth Cadera"] eventually, wrapping his arms around her and the chair, resting his chin casually atop her head. For the first time in a long time he had the power of choice. Well, one that wouldn't involve getting him or Beth marked for death. So he was smiling, letting out a yawn as he hugged the one person that truly mattered to him. "Little bit of turbulence huh? Shouldn't be anything." He idly commented, trying to brush off any danger. The last time they had a problem like this they had been sucked into a hell.

"How are you feeling?"

Beth nearly held her breath as the ship rocked and swayed. The last time such a thing happened they had ended up on that horror planet. With the worst things possible happening. She almost jumped as [member="Cleru"] wrapped his arms around her before she relaxed. She leaned in, smiling. She had come a long way from their first discussions about their situation. ANd while the galaxy was a mess, she at least could count on him with her.

"I hope not," she whispered as the ship rocked more. "I'm feeling... Pretty good," she said as she let her hands caress against his. "How are you, my love?" She asked in reply. Minor alerts had went off in the background, but mostly warnings about stabilization and air pressure and such.

"I'm doing okay. It's nice to be.. Free. Y'know? No more needing to live in one way because otherwise we get killed or hunted. It's.. Good." Cleru seemed far happier then he ever had been, and smiled faintly as he buried his face into [member="Beth Cadera"] 's shoulder, his arms tightening in the hug just a bit. Despite the worries before on the old crash, he couldn't help but smile and be happy. This was so much better. So much freer.

"How much longer till we arrive?"

Beth smiled as she let her hand gently rustling his hair. "I'm glad," she said quietly. "I'm happy for that. We can finally just focus on you, me, and these two," she cooed as she let her free hand gently rub on her enlarged belly. "We have a chance not many do," she said quietly. While returning to Mandalore wasn't her foremost desire, it was a perfect pit stop for their next adventure. Wherever that may be.

She was about to respond before something happened. Similar to last time, the ship began a massive tumble. Almost as if it was getting sucked into something. Beth's eyes widened as she gripped onto [member="Cleru"]'s arm before releasing. "Get buckled," she whispered. Already, the rocking, movement, had heightened her nausea immensely. The ship stuttered, warnings flaring everywhere.

In what seemed like only a second, the ship came plummeting towards a sudden ground. The sky above turned a clear-purple color, and the maps on the systems in front completely went haywire. It was as if they were suddenly... Elsewhere. The ground below was filled with forest and mountains. "Brace," she whispered as she closed her eyes.

It didn't make sense, especially that it'd happen again. But what else could she do by now? Tears sobbed down her cheeks as one hand reached out to Cleru's.
