It is time. Or perhaps it is moreso a time long overdo. Mister Arbosa was sure to be awaiting word from me about the decision made by the Board of Directors in regards to his offer. I can only hope that the news will brighten up his day.

I turn on my holo-communicator and put on a polite smile as I address him in a recorded message; "Mister Arbosa. I would like to thank you for your efforts in helping the Covie here in Ilic while chaos had erupted. More people would gave died if not for your help. I have some news for you in regards to your business proposal. In light of your dedication to the Covie, the Board of Directors have accepted your offer. A contract is being drawn up and will be ready for authorization signatures shortly. I can either bring it to you, or you may of course visit us here.

I await your response, Mister Arbosa. And I hope that providence finds you well."

I turn off the holo-communicator and take a moment to realize implications of the deal. It may tip the scales of our alliances from one side to the other, and thereby making New Cov's political stance less neutral. But it is best not to turn down a friend.

Time even long overdue, seemed to have had drastic changes in terms of alliances and in thoughts among others. Arbosa has...had a change of not only allegiance, but about everything else. The message would arrive a bit later for him than expected but it would pass through the channels as expected, arriving towards him as he sat on top of a nearby neon sign, the planets smoke obscuring him as he felt a drastic amount of pain circulate around his body. It still hurts after all this time, but it felt even more so given how much time he was given versus how much he would have wanted to be given. Turning on the holo-communicator, he would relay a message through to be sent later.

"Miss Terallo, it is a pleasure to hear from you again. The efforts I done at Covie, any person would have done in my place. However, due to circumstances that have...unfortunately changed, I can no longer be a proper signer of the deals listed and specified among the Sith Order. The first set of two agreements would be nullified and void as of this particular moment."

"I can still however, put my own investments into the facilities as previously discussed. Same deal still applies there...and I can sign it that way. However signing on behalf of the Sith Order, is something I no longer can do. I await your message back if that is at least, still appliable for a deal to still be accepted. Though expect a turn around currently of one to two days for each message. I-"

A blaster bolt rang by as he had to close out the message. Within a few minutes, he would record again right afterwards as he moved a bit quickly down a set of steel staircases.

"Before I was rudely interrupted, I may have difficulties till I am out of known Sith Order territories. Be awaiting your message Miss Terallo."

The message would end as he would let it get sent off through a secure channel. Now he just needed off planet and decide his next course of action. Rubbing his arms for a moment, he still felt sore.

I replay the two messages sent by Mister Arbosa over and over again. I cannot even guess as to where he is or more specifically; which planet. But I can only hope that he will not be there for long.

My mind comes up with plenty of scenarios based on what I have heard and seen. His allegiances have shifted for some reason and now he is being hunted for it. The Board of Directors might not be too happy with the change that is to be made in the contract, but there is always plenty of room for last minute changes. And there is still a deal to be made.

Perhaps this change is all for the better? I do not know. But I cannot hide my worry for him.

I turn on my holo-communicator and record my reply for him. "Mister Arbosa, your offer still stands. I will have an adjusted contract drawn up to reflect the changes. And if you need any help to get out of the area, please allow me to assist you. A ship from New Cov bearing medical supplies should not draw attention. We are neutral, afterall. We can bring you to safety. Please accept my offer."

I turn off the holo-communicator after sending the message and let out a breath that I did not realize that I have been holding. And now I must wait for what could be a couple of days. I just hope that nothing terrible happens to him in the meantime.

It would take little over a day and with that day, came a lot of unnecessary violence. All around him was a room full of blaster scarring, along with various forms of damage around the room resembling lightsaber strikes, explosives and amongst the worst of it, bodies of various troops. Pulling a bit hard one of the bodies slumped onto the panel nearby, he would place a nearby blaster carbine off towards the side and started to mess with the controls. Noticing a holo-projection, he prepared a message with his memory still trying to hold up from one beforehand.

This was the first time since they last met, that even a small image of him presented itself. He was wearing robes, something less traditional than before with a very unusual mask placed onto his own face with a rag tag look of armor that was placed on his body. No bodies were in sight though it would contain the image of him working on something in the background, pulling a lever to release a set of docking clamps. Was his height slightly different?

"Miss Terallo, pardon the image you are seeing of me, this is not my usual...set of attire so to speak. I am glad the contra-"

A sound of banging be heard from afar as he turned his head for a moment, a reinforced durasteel door was crushed from afar and embedded into the doors frame. Keeping a small stare, he would speak a more quickly as he finally had to break down and do something he never liked doing, even in his voice it pained him to ask.

Ask for help.

"I need to speed this up, yes, I would like to take your offer on having a starship get me out of here. Polis Massa, asteroid medical facility will work the best. Be there in approximately three days time. I-" "I AM TIRED OF WAITING, OUT OF THE WAY!" "I will be there soon. I think future generations just got more angry somehow. Stay safe."

Turning off the holoprojection, he had it to be sent and turned with the blaster rifle, using the Force to shatter the nearby transparisteel glass towards the docking bay. Some days, life just refuses to let you do anything.

I have been on pins and needles as I waited for a reply to my message. What if it did not arrive at all? What then? Am I just to shrug it all off as a casualty of war? Certainly not!

I have informed my parents of what was happening, seeking their advice or rather their thoughts on my offer to the man. To my relief they held no objections to it. On the contrary they were supportive on a business standpoint. And that is far better than none at all.

The notification of an incoming message startles me. Immediately I open it once I am safely in my office only to see something that I was not expecting. A man in a robe and mask. Mister Arbosa is clearly in disguise! The urgency in his voice cannot be mistaken and the sounds of battle only add to it.

I approach my desk and sit down, bringing up my datapad so that I can get to work straight away. There is no need for me to reply. I had been given a place and a time frame. Now I just needed to acquire a transport to get me there. There are some that will not approve of my going, but their concerns mean little right now. If anything I will have more of a chance than some special ops team. However it is not as though I will be travelling alone. I will have security detail along with me. And medical personnel.

Three days. I will make it. And perhaps then I will learn what is going on out there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Polis Massa medical facility is a marvel in it's own right. I arrive in a freighter that had recently docked on a newly scheduled visit to the facility's director to pitch to him about the benefits of biomolecules.
I draw up my feathered fan, open it and use it to help calm myself. Such a risky plan is not something that I am used to. I wait inside of the freighter while a game of solitaire sits on the table in front of me. My security detail has been split into two groups; one of which remains on board with me while the rest await any sighting of Mister Arbosa as well as the facility's director and his team.
Once again it is only a matter of time.
For once, no one attempted to fight the Dark Lord...no, just the Lord of Rebirth now. It was rather comforting to know that the starfighters own coordinates, while aged drastically, was untraceable thanks to older software he still known to install. Being old fashioned, even over a thousand years old, has its perks. Wiping off his robes, he slowly sat up along the steel set of beams he rested upon in a nearby yet productive section of the station, above the prying eyes of others. This was not the first time he was sought after to be killed, nor would it be the last. Standing up slowly on a long stretch of metal, he would walk rather skillfully along it towards a set of makeshift rooftops.
These rooftops were made from sellers of different wares, more or less pop up markets for freighters coming in and out. Taking his time to be careful, he would secure the blaster carbine around his shoulder and start to descend, hearing the gentle clink of his lightsaber bounce off his waist. Landing onto the roof, he would slide down graciously and land on his feet, kneeling for a brief moment before standing back up with his thoughts racing.
Today was the day to see if a trap was made for him or if someone actually came to help him. Most people that ever helped him, either was to take advantage of the situation or willfully tried to find an angle to kill him later. He believed though she would indeed find a way to help him...it was strange though...he brushed his thoughts aside and stride carefully towards the hanger bays to see if anyone recently docked, checking each hanger in passing as he tried to blend into the different crowds.
It would take less than an hour and a half, but he would spot what he was looking for, a Newcov freighter that had recently docked. Walking a bit at a brisk pace, he would turn and check briefly into it as the security team, given their credit, would see him rather quickly. Making a rather fast walking motion, he approached the freighter while checking over his shoulder a bit constantly. Reficite was indeed smart to be paranoid, he had changed most of his appearance and mannerisms to fit into a crowd. Moving towards security, he did not know what to expect but spoke quickly.
"Rare to be grateful to see security...I assume you are here for me?"
Liin Terallo Liin Terallo
Someone is approaching. I am notified at the very moment that he is spotted. Even amongst a crowd of people coming and going, a person making a beeline towards anything always seems to stand out in a crowd.
I watch from the viewport in the cockpit as he makes his way towards my ship. He is still wearing the same disguise as before. That alone brings about a slew of questions that I have for him. But there will be plenty of time for that once we have reached safety.
"There he is. Let him inside." I instruct the security team through my commlink for I cannot expect him to linger outside for long. "The moment that he is on board, prepare for our departure. I have a pre-recorded apology for the medical director that should be sent before we enter hyperspace." I exit the cockpit in turn once my instructions are acknowledged and await Mister Arbosa in the cargohold where I expect that he will be escorted to.
I draw up my fan, open it and wait the few moments for him to come into view. For my first rescue operation this is running along quite smoothly. I can only hope that it will continue to be that way. Mister Arbosa and I will have plenty to discuss.
There was a bit of motion and commotion so to speak, it became clear they were to allow him on board the starship. It came with a bit of relief, making a quick stroll up towards the ramp with security in tow. Moving a bit quickly, the ramp would most likely close behind them as he glanced for a brief moment before looking back forward to see a lady...a lady he was indeed very glad to see but also slightly concerned.
"Miss Terallo?"
It was a voice of concern, moving a bit quickly towards her before stopping, looking at her as if processing some form of information. His masked head would turn to the left a little, then to the right as it trying to formulate some form of response.
"Miss Terallo...while I am deeply...in gratitude for coming to get me, it is incredibly dangerous for you to have come here given the danger...I possibly can pose."
The words seem to crack a little, he was indeed worried for her safety! It seemed rather strange indeed from the masked individual. Pulling down his hood, it would reveal more or less a full on helmet. Regaining his composure, he placed both hands in front of himself and raised his helmet up.
"We should leave...I know you have many...many questions. But the sooner we are out of Sith Order space, the sooner we can breath a bit easier."
Liin Terallo Liin Terallo
There he is! I find myself holding my breath as he approaches and yet I fan myself to hide it. The very idea of partaking in a rescue operation is all so very exciting! If it were not for my fan than I am sure that my heart would be racing!
He stops in front of me and seems to study me. Perhaps there is something about me that looks different through the mask? But no, that is not it. I realize this the moment that he starts speaking and expresses his concern for my coming. "What danger can you pose to me, Mister Arbosa? I have other customers within this region of space. My coming here would not be regarded as being unusual." Plus I have my security detail here. If this is all some ruse to get me away from New Cov, it would be silly for I am only one member of the Board of Directors.
He lifts his helmet and I acknowledge his request with a dip of my chin. "Yes, Mister Arbosa, I have plenty of questions. The most important is; are you all right? We shall depart immediately. You'll have to forgive me for the lack of luxuries, but there is a lounge where upon we can sit and chat."
I turn to one of the guards. "Tell the Captain that we can head home now." I can only assume that the pre-flight checks are already being handled. As he leaves, I turn my attention back to Mister Arbosa and gesture for him to follow me. "The lounge is this way. There are medkits available should you need it. And refreshments as well." It does not take us long to get there. The lounge holds a half dozen plush chairs, a couple of tables and a small kitchenette. "I cannot even fathom what it is that you have gone through. But you are safe. We will be back in neutral space soon enough."
"I meant dangers that can come...nevermind."
He quickly went quiet on that regard, yes he is a danger to some others but his phrasing of words came out completely wrong. Though hearing a bit of mutual concern, he gave a small twitch to his left hand, a little bit of a sign. Giving a bit of a small nod, he raised his right hand to start undoing portions of his helmet. It seemed so strange that he never minded removing it lately...perhaps there was a reason now for that.
"I am...fine in some regard. Do not apologize, simply picking me up is the greatest luxury I got in the past few weeks."
He would listen as they were going to be departing, he was glad to be gone from this particular asteroid soon and this region of space. Upon hearing her along with the motion, he made a few steps to follow her without question. Each step though of his felt slightly heavy to him. All the adrenaline for the past few weeks started to go away, even with restful sleep he found in between, it was difficult to keep that same energy going. Listening to her still, a final clasp with a small hiss would come from his helmet.
"Believe me Miss Terallo...I do not think you could. Forgive me though...for I need to see...who...no...what, I am now."
Slowly he grasped onto the back of the helmet, pulling back and then upwards as it was slowly removed as he approached a small mirror near the kitchenette. Looking at it for a moment, he finally came face to face with what he had become at long last. Turning his head side to side slowly, his own hands trailed and touched his ears. They felt odd to him, his own face seemed sullen and sunken in, fingers going over his own bald head. Each time he moved a finger, he started to memorize everything going on and even the distinct color of his own eyes, a color of pale blue iris.
Standing completely up, he slowly started to realize for the first time, how badly he may have screwed everything up. This was the first time in a long time, he was this...deformed in any fashion. He looked as if he came from an Anzat horror flick about something far worse than brain sucking vampires. With his eyes trailing to his gloves, he started to remove them and even notice how his own fingers looks...skinny and frail. How they did not break upon going through such violence was beyond him.
Very slowly, he finally turned towards Miss Terallo as he finally let her see what...had occurred. He was not only completely different from this encounters, but he seemed to have changed in the most drastic sense. He did not look...remotely like himself from before. Everything seemed out of place, all except his own voice, mannerisms and what made Reficite...Reficite. Placing the hands together slowly of his own, he looked at her without any form of malice, but of resigned acceptance. Not happy, nor angry...just contempt.
"My actions...have caused greater consequences than I first thought. I am sorry for this appearance...this was rather rushed. I know you have your questions, I will answer them truthfully without misguidance. I highly doubt at this point...deception is required from one in exile."
Liin Terallo Liin Terallo
I take a seat, tucking my ankles underneath me after crossing them. I close my fan and hold it upon my lap as Mister Arbosa gets acquainted with the ship. Given what I cannot imagine that he has been through, there is little doubt in my mind that he needs to ground himself for a moment. So respectfully I give him the time to do so.
He removes his helmet and what I see is not what I expect. My eyes widen ever so slightly. In recent months there had been a kidnapping attempt by those that could change their appearance. However his words had suggested that maybe this could have been a surgical procedure to better hide himself. He surely does not appear to be the same man, but his voice and a feeling deep down in my gut suggests otherwise. Not to mention his mannerisms.
"How is this possible? What has happened that has caused you to choose this disguise? Is it just to escape?" At least he does not appear to be hurt. And I think that we both could use a drink. I rise to my feet. "Shall I warm us up some tea?"
Already I can feel the gentle rumble of the ship as it lifts from the dock. There is a slight shift as it turns to exit the station and coast gently through the asteroid field.
Tag: Lord Reficite Lord Reficite
"Tea...Tea be a nice thing right about now, yes."
Reficite would finally take a nearby seat, being very slow to sit as he seemed unused to the body still in some regard. Every movement so far was deliberate without fail, this was mainly due to how new the body still was to him. Sitting wrong may result in falling out of the chair or breaking a bone by pure accident. Pondering over how to answer her first question, he just went with the most answer he could give...the truth. Feeling the starship rise a little, he knew they were on their way as he spoke slowly with a bit of resignation in his voice.
"It is possible...because I died." He let it sink in for a few moments, waiting for either to shock to wear or to break the silence. "I was killed in the Sith Citadel and when I awoke from being reincarnated where I kept a spare body...they broken through what be considered my vessel, kindof like a Bacta Tank. I barely escaped on just the notion of taking what Life Force I could from my attackers. Clearly from just seeing my...new body, it did not finish all the way and is a bit unfinished."
"My identity was not truly said when we first met. Yes, my name is Neva Arbosa, it was my name as a...soldier." The word seemed carefully chosen, as if a bit ashamed. "My name that others know me by is Darth Reficite...though at this point, Lord Reficite be closer towards the current mold. It means Rebirth also...meaning to be born again."
Leaning back in the soft chair, he relaxed greatly but his eyes seemed a tad heavy...even if sunken in. He had his body be completely relaxed, he did not want to seem even slightly threatening to her. Some of this he knew may make her wary...but he wanted her to know just from expression, he meant no harm.
Liin Terallo Liin Terallo
"You....died?" My own words are spoken slowly as I worked to wrap my head around it. I have heard of some people using clones to cheat death, yet never had I imagined that I would ever see such a thing in practice.
I begin making our teas as he explained further. So my ring is correct. He is a practioner of the Force. Which side of the coin he now falls under, I am uncertain. If only I could see the colors. It would help me greatly.
There is a lot to take in with still much more answers to be given. With the teas now ready I carry them both with me, handing Mister Arbosa his before retaking my seat with my own in hand.
"And what am I to call you? Why would your own turn against you and kill you? I cannot pretend to know of the inner politics of the Sith government. And for the moment it looks like I will not have to worry about them." Nor would I have to worry about the Galactic Alliance either, for it looks as though our neutrality will remain. And that is a great thing for business.
I sip my tea as I prepare myself for a bit of a story. For the most part I am certain that we are in the clear and shall not be followed back to New Cov. That is as far as I can tell, anyways.
Tag: Lord Reficite Lord Reficite
"Yes...how I died is more or less up in the air. Really did not see it coming...only just the noise. Being reborn is a rather...messy process, I won't get into the full details but the Force is vastly different from most medical procedures, it still has a period of waiting...and they broke it early which is why I look...well, like this."
Placing his hands together, he slowly saw the cue of tea as he gave a gentle nod and took it. Holding it with both of his hands, he loved how warm it felt. Beat the cold air and steel he had to be around for the past week. Slowly tipping it up, he would sip upon it but also listened to her intently, not missing a single word of hers. Slowly lowering it, he sighed and answered.
"Arbosa, even the first name Neva is still fine. I honestly hate titles unless I had to reinforce them for a reason. As for why...there was a campaign near the outer rim that went wrong...the Emperor was displeased and here I am. Planetary atmosphere was ruined regardless...still is, hard to fix something they all goofed up on. Trust me, the politics of the Sith Government are trying to be unified but also attempting to remove their own problems. They are split yet reformed."
Taking another sip, he let the hot air clear into his nostrils and relax him greatly. It was strange, he never felt this...calm in a long time. Answering some more, he kept going while also leaning a bit more forward.
"I highly doubt we will be followed, even as of this point. Yes they would prefer me in the ground but they have other issues to attend to. Sith Worlds will once again be colonized...and they will want to start when they can. My only worry is some of the newer finances I tied up...probably lost around sixty percent of my fortune though it is not the first time...won't be the last I assume. Got enough in mines around the galaxy to pay off everything outstanding in contracts, the one I am to sign and have a bit left over to own a small manor with land...wait for the mines to keep producing more is all."
"Is there any other questions you have for me? Be the time to do it, open book and all that."
Liin Terallo Liin Terallo
Titles. Mister Arbosa is not fond of them, yet I had been taught to always use them. It is a sign of respect. However, if an individual wishes to be called something else, then I am obligated to oblige.
I take a sip of my tea as I listen to his explanation of the politics among the Sith government. I am glad to not find myself involved amongst it. Yes, I have made some contracts with Sith, yet they seem to not have any part to play within the Sith Empire as a whole. The closest that I have had to that is Mister Arbosa. Although that is no longer the case.
"Do not worry so about your finances at this moment. You are welcomed to stay in Ilic until you have everything sorted out." I have another sip of my tea then rest the cup on my lap, cradled within my hands. "You spoke earlier of it being dangerous for me to come here. And yet you do not believe that we will be followed at all. So what about my coming here is dangerous?" We had not come under attack at all. As far as I can tell, no one will be the wiser about this rescue operation. Yet if it truly is dangerous for me to travel here, then there is surely much more information that I have yet been held privy to.
"I highly appreciate the gesture, I most likely will take up on it for a few days...no longer than a week to sort out my next move."
Giving a long sigh, he took another sip of the tea. It was really good, something he honestly missed from his younger days. Tea was such a rare commodity...now it seems everyone makes it but rarely if ever, close to being like home. Though when he heard the other half, he spoke honestly as he had a few reasons.
"A few reasons...the largest being I still have no idea why you were attacked since we last discussed. Anyone got wind and they wanted you as a target, been a two for one special so to speak on target acquisition or destruction. Another just be simply how chaotic the government had become...could have easily blown up the entire asteroid of Polis Massa to prove a point versus just finding me. Judging how we are not getting shot, that did not happen. In finale of reasons, if they even suspect me being near this starship, it be either destroyed or impounded...occupants tortured. The absolute worst...trust me, no one wants that either."
His voice went a bit lower at the end, sipping the tea again as he was rather calm about this. It would been a lie to say he would been a bit worried for Terallo but it been worse if someone attempted to exploit it. Deep down, he was a bit soft at heart...though he tried not to show it often. Looking to the side for a moment, he placed it on the saucer as he watched the stars for a brief moment.
"It is no secret what we were as Sith meant to the Galaxy. Always gathering for more power, always wanting more territory...it is a vicious cycle but it never truly ends. We were meant to be small, hidden from the Galaxy, to allow ourselves to...grow in our own manner. Nowadays, anyone with a lightsaber and a menacing amount of power, can put the Galaxy under their thumb. With the joining of forces between Darth Carnifex and the Emperor...the galaxy will see another war...when is the largest problem though for them...or if they even survive to see it without more infighting."
Liin Terallo Liin Terallo
I listen quitely. I find myself missing his former appearance, however. But I fully understand that that body is gone. It is a strange thing for one to transfer themselves from one body to the next. Yet it is not unheard of. Only quite rare. At least that is as far as I know.
The suggestion of this ship being impounded by the Sith and the lot of us being tortured was not something that I would welcome. Outside of the attempted kidnapping, I had never been held against my will. And fortunately those that would target me are few in number and probably merely opportunists. I am not of any importance outside of New Cov. The Galaxy does not see or recognize those that are not practioners of the Force, it seems. I shall consider that a blessing.
And as for the chance of a coming war, one does not need to be a fortune teller to see that coming. "There are always wars of some sort going on with the Sith in the front lines. That will never end until something more powerful than them comes along and puts the nail in their coffin, so to speak. Fortunately for the Covie, we will remain out of everyone's crosshairs."
I might sound naive, but I know it in my heart to be true.
The words of Liin rang far further in truth than he cared to admit. After the set of words "Something More Powerful Than Them", it almost looked like the words impacted him far more greater than it should have. Looking down into his tea cup, he felt his mind wander for a brief period of time. If life was just a few hundred years sooner...and himself much more younger, in mind and in physical strength, he could have done all he wanted, to end this conflict soon as it started. Reficite hates to admit it...but he grew to liking this more than being what he used to be.
"You are right...it is always one person...just one, can change the course of history far more than others. Sometimes the Jedi vanquishes the Sith...the Sith takes over the Jedi...and sometimes, the Jedi has to become what it fears to defeat the darkness."
That last part had a twinge of pain strike him. Very slowly, he lifted his head up with his eyes carefully looking at her. While most would have sensed anger, a stare of hatred...it was of a soft kind, no malice...yes he was resembling at times a monster now but he had some sort of soft side, at least here. The distinct whine entered his ears as he hoped it was the hypedrive activating and getting them away from this awful sector of space.
Liin Terallo Liin Terallo
"History has a habit of repeating itself. More often than not it is often the cycle of Jedi, Sith, Empires and Republics." I had studied the subjects during my tutoring lessons while I was growing up. If one wishes to survive in politics, then one must know of the failures of the past in the hopes that one does not repeat their mistakes.
I finish my tea as another thought occurs to me. I notice Mister Arbosa looking at me in a strange way. It is almost as though he has been hinting at something upon which he wishes for me to discover for myself. Or at the very least to bring voice to the thoughts. "Were you once a Jedi, Mister Arbosa? Did you somehow lose your way during a mission that you had been charged with?" I must admit that I know little about his story. Yet I am prepared for it at any rate.
A slight jolt of the ship is felt. I can only safely assume that we have entered hyperspace. Travelling through space is not something that I am used to. So all of the sounds and movements are not yet second nature to me. And given that no alarms have gone off, there is no reason for me to fear the worst.
Tag: Lord Reficite Lord Reficite
The soft rumble of hyperspace filled his ears, he listened to it passively as it put his mind at ease...though the question that was presented towards him, seem to struck a small cord with the former Sith Lord. The eyes looked for a moment serious but then....went very relaxed, as if tired and defeated. Had it become that obvious now? Did he give it away without really knowing it? Taking a long sip of his tea, draining the last bit of contents, he placed it back onto the saucer and placed it on a nearby table.
"I was a special forces operative in the Old Republic whom happened to have force sensitivity in what is now called the New Sith Wars. I worked with a Jedi Master by the name of Wilot, he trained me enough to pass off as a Padawan in training even though I was in my early twenties. This was 1400 BBY...the Galaxy was a severe mess economically...the Republic was in severe danger from any form of Sith Faction gaining to much power. "
"Master Wilot wanted to infiltrate a particular Sith Faction which was named the Sith Tribunal. It was a collection of different ideologies that more or less co-exist in small family like sects. We went in posing as such to gather intelligence...instead, we happened upon an idea, an idea to end the conflict with this group. A chance at...peace. We were to open negotiations between the Republic and the Sith Tribunal to at least buy time...instead, one of the four groups, lead by a Darth Kai at a meeting, walked up and ended my masters life before my eyes. Then sent his hounds after me...and so forth, lead to another war if you can call it that, more so a conflict."
"I won't lie...I had to adapt and the Jedi Order did not see me as their usual case and refused to train me. I had to learn from what I had with almost no support while fighting with Republic Forces. In the end, the conflict lasted about a year and it ended because of me for the Jedi refused to act or assist in the matter. I took advantage for half a year once I realized the Jedi would do nothing, making alliances and solidifying power by training in what was considered taboo in the Force...I turned some of their own Sith against them, creating the seedlings to their own Civil War. I had help yes but it was long term planning and a lot of deals to be made...even sacrifices of those I rather not seen die."
"When the final battle was to occur, every sect of theirs fought in a large open battle. All I did was wait for Darth Kai to reappear and kill him though...it was not that simple. He was the better duelist, I was still very much unused to how conflict was to work, even after training myself hard as I could every day. In the end, he mortally wounded me, stabbed my right over my heart. Then in what I can only describe as the Force acting on its own...when he tried to drain my life, I instead took his by mere instinct. More so...I took over his body when mine had failed. We switched bodies and I alone, killed him off with his own body."
"I was still with the Republic at the time...but with my body laying on the ground and most of the Sith Tribunal in pieces around me with very few members standing. I knew I could not just simply...return home. I had the body of a Sith Lord and was no longer the same person...nor was my thoughts the same afterwards."
At that moment, he leaned forward and spoke a bit more seriously, as if some conviction was in his voice on what he was to say next.
"I realized at that moment...the Jedi were incompetent to the Galaxy at large, they allowed all this death and suffering to continue without fail. All it took was one person who decided all the power he needed, was to use that same power. I decided on that day...that if I had to wield this power to protect the Galaxy from further harm, I will do so. I decided that day to end all conflict...I ensured no survivors were left to threaten the Republic and vanished before the Republic could find out the extent of the damage, themselves believing the Sith self destructed and left the moon. I was written off as a causality of war...my name is still on the wall of Dorumaas war memorial, the memorial of all those lost in the conflict. They classified me as the final causality without realizing that I still lived on...just in a different body."
Finally, Reficite went completely quiet. If she even looked up the names on the Holonet in that particular section, the name Neva Arbosa would be indeed the final etched name on an electronic wall of text, projected on a large building in the Dorumma moon. Tapping his fingers together, he spoke one last time and then went quiet again.
"History though indeed repeated itself...and in the end, I became the villain of another story and with it, nearly brought another warlord to life later in life but...that story is probably best for another time. I already I think caused enough trouble for one day."
