Private Tipping the Scale, Order & Chaos

Imbraani - Night Hours

There was a clear lack of connection between the people of Qiilura and the growing Silver Jedi Concord. Due to having previous tensions with the Republic and the Jedi before the Four-Hundred Year Darkness, and then the Republics fall due to the One Sith, the planet has been mostly left alone thus far. Allowed to grow of its own design in the past couple years. Staying away from the wars of the Sith, Jedi, and Imperials. Yet, they knew war was coming. Tensions were high due to the growing of the influences around them. Jedi, Imperial Knights, and even Sith were seen more often upon the planet than ever. All due to the three nations a mere couple hyperspace jumps away.

It was with this tension, that one particular Sith sought to gather a number of the Gurlanin under their respective armies, and militarist agendas. With their talents of shapeshifting, as well as combat prowess, bounty hunters, mercenaries or devotees of one side or the other were in high demand.

A Jedi walked through the streets. The Cathar woman seemed to fit in a little better among the feline like species of the Gurlanin. An almost outcast species that were not human. While the saber on her belt was clear, she seemed to work on her own. Not wanting any particular eyes to fall upon her. However, she drew in close to a building. Looking to either side before entering. Closing the door behind her before locking it. Drawing the weapon to set it on the table.

"So is this why you brought me here?"
"Its easier for you to blend in than me."

She spoke to Vora Kaar. The black robed Sith Lord sat in a chair. Some pazzak cards in their hands. A moment was taken to mull over before laying the cards down. Only to have a sharp click of the tongue. The Lord lost by one point. Thinking it would be good to stand on the cards he had at 19. Either way, The lord looked up from the cards before asking further.

"What did you learn?"
"There are more Imperial Knights and Jedi around than the past few years. Everyone is preparing to take sides and tension is building, but no one is quite sure where it will fall."
"Anything else?"
"I think they are right with more Jedi being here. Its almost like there is a tipping point between Chaos and Order here."

Standing up, the Sith lord picked up all the cards and placed them into a carrying case via the force. A mere second it took for it to be completed. Turning over to the other side of the chair to pull the upper cloak of their robe around their shoulders and pulling up the cowl.

"Then tonight will be the night we will give it a push."
"In which direction?"
"Yes."

The Cathar went wide eyed. Unsure of what the Lord meant, and scared of which side would be worse.

The developing situation on Quilura had come under the notice of the Silver Jedi Concord, and due to it's location between Silver Space and that of the New Imperial Order, intelligence had been passed to Grandmaster Elise regarding several exchanges between Jedi and Imperial personnel, as well as a notable Sith presence within the Capital. As of yet, there had been no violence nor loss of life, however tensions were high with the local populace in response to the growing number of Force Users standing on various and opposing sides of affiliation.

In a bid to ascertain the truth, to truly understand the likelihood of violence and possibly a political incident between them and the New Imperial Order, Jedi Knight Caedyn Arenais and his Padawan Kyra Perl Kyra Perl had been sent to meet a representative of the Quilurian Government, hoping to assist in bringing the situation to a peaceful conclusion.

Having landed within the Spaceport of the Capital City Imbraani, Caedyn and his Padawan both disembarked from the Transport while the Ambassador Class Modified CR90 Corvette remained overhead in orbit of the great glowing orb. Those aboard the Corvette were a skeleton crew of what could've been. The assignment the ship was assigned to, was a precautionary one and the expectation of entering into naval combat was low. The Jedi had not come to incite aggression but to seek to absolve it.

Standing at the end of the landing ramp, Caedyn looked out across the landing deck in search for their welcoming party, a lone Gurlanin, the aforementioned representative of government there on Quilura. They were a canine people, similar to the feline-like Cathar in a sense, although differing in appearance and species traits. This one walked to meet the pair of Jedi half way and bid them welcome, to which Caedyn Arenais responded to with a bow, and soon introduced himself and his Padawan.

"Welcome, Jedi. My name is Akosi Vanid, and I'll be leading you through the City Center. I have a relatively private place reserved for our meeting, yet thought it would be good for you both to witness the state of the people on our way".

"Greetings, I am Caedyn Arenais, Jedi Knight, and this is my Padawan Kyra Perl" Caedyn responded, soon adding in compliance "We appreciate you meeting us, and will be happy to do so" he smiled, looking to his Padawan and offering a second lighter nod in suggestive acknowledgement. While they were hoping for a peaceful assignment, Caedyn was confident in his student's ability and awareness of the environment around them.

Kyra swished in her cloak, her slender frame hidden amongst the billows of fabric. She stopped short, eyes a little wild and heat hitting her cheeks as Caedyn drew attention to her.

Ahem. Right.

She straightened, her good arm folding respectfully at her back as she gave a slight bow. She watched her toes dipped behind her cloak at the movement, her gaze slowly drawn back up to the two as the boring introductions moved on.

"Why are we seeing the people? Are they doing a festival?" Truly, Kyra didn't see another reason to walk through a city's streets. Her childhood had been riddled with easy purchases and supplies delivered for her. Exploring a new place only happened for fun and adventure. The jump of assumption was sensible, but shallow.

She didn't notice.

She strained up on her toes to look over the heads of others, curious to which way the fun was. And here she thought this was going to be a boring diplomatic incident.
