Description:
Titan Ghost Armor is very similar in design to its cousin, Titan Guard Armor.
The Armor was created for the near exclusive use of the Sons of Titan. Because Titan Guard Armor is rather bulky, showy, and not at all stealthy, an alternative was needed in order to facilitate the Sons of Titans more stealth orientated mission.
The Titan Ghost Armor as it is so creatively called was thus commissioned by Kiran Vess. Titan Industries, more specifically Alric, then set to work on the creation of a new form of armor that would allow his Sons to act in a more stealth orientated manner. The Titan Ghost Armor was eventually created out of his project.
As stated before it maintains several of the aesthetic design as the Titan Guard Armor with a few key differences. The Titan Ghost Armor does not have the Guard Armor's jumpback, nor does it have the bulky armorplast plates. Instead the Titan Ghost Armor is made up of several overlapping layers of Armorweave giving it strong protection against light blaster fire and small arms. These layers also hide the wearers heat signature. To complement this tiny bits of the neck and back are covered in Duraplast, though this is more a necessity of the stealth system.
Of course, like the Titan Guard Armor the Ghost Armor maintains the same skull visage. Unlike the Guard Armor however the image of the skull does not change, instead it remains static, holding as a single intimidating skull mask.
The purpose of the armor is of course the incorporated Stealth System. This system functions the same way as many older models of personal cloaking devices. It conceals oneself visually, creating a soft haze(Picture the Cloaking Devices from Halo that the Elites use. Still Visible but one has to really focus and know what they're looking for). Obviously this system is not full-proof and the Titan Ghost Armor can be spotted out both visually and through other means. However, on most basic missions the Titan Ghost Armor is more than sufficient for its purpose.
