Titanic: Shipyard Edition

Jade Cradle. That was the shipyard they were assigned to drag back into Mando space. Cassiopeia herself really didn't have a big idea on how exactly they were going to tow a shipyard back, but that is why Raiz, the engineer, had come along. He could be the brains for that. And she could just help him do administrative stuff. Fly the ship or whatever. They seemed to work well as a team, so she was hopeful it would be an easy mission. Hatch it to the cargo ship they had come in with and haul it back to Mando space.

The only catch was that there was no clear indication if the shipyard was in good shape, kinda good, or falling apart. Most Intel was confident it wasn't falling apart, but was probably dusty, with little to no power, and needed routine maintenance. It had been offline for several years and as such, there was no remote way to know the status of the Jade Cradle.

In either case, their ship came to a hyper-drive stop in the Er'Kit system. The shipyard operated above the planet Er'Kit - a planet that at one point in its history was known to be involved in the slave trade. Preliminary readings indicate that there is lifeforms on the shipyard, which means it is most likely occupied by outlaws, privateers, or potential slavers themselves. Her and Raiz wouldn't know for sure until they actually landed & got into the ship. Strangely, though, most of the shipyard was offline - the power did not seem to be on.

Cassiopeia wore a simple black dress with leggings, along with her MandalArms M1 Personal Absorption Shield to keep her safe from fire. She also had her verpine handgun and her throwing knives. She kept a backpack on that contained extra ammunition and a medkit. She'd wait for Raiz here.

Raiz

Self-Imposed Exiled
Dragging a shipyard from the middle of nowhere, to Mandalorian space, this was grunt work that the young Mandalorian would usually complain about, however as the Jade Cradle was a something that Yasha herself wanted, Raiz was much more than happy to jump in and help his Mand'alore however it is he could. As Cassiopeia made it into the vicinity of the shipyard he begins pressing a couple buttons upon his wrist device before landing his ship upon the shipyard. After hitting a button to activate his communication system, the dull beeping sound would echo throughout both his helmet and the lady's own communication systems. While he awaited her to pick up, the man exited his ship and began to walk around the immediate vicinity, and as she answered he immediately spoke.

"Cass, I am on the Jade Cradle now. Come land, we best do a thorough manual search." and before Cass could respond he states. "Glad you're the one who has my back here." before the communication is turned off.

The man didn't do this to be rude, though such a thought occured to him shortly after, but he was craving to listen to some music to lift the atmosphere of the seemingly dead environment he stood upon.

Cassiopeia simply waited for Raiz, getting a little perturbed he was no where to be seen. She wasn't exactly a fan of just idling about, waiting around for him to get around to complete their task. It was a few moments after the thought that a comm came through. He was already on the Jade Cradle? What the kark.

"Hey, what about the budd--" click. She sighed. Well, she had to admit, he did do what he wanted. Although, she didn't really have his back since she wasn't even on the shipyard yet.Getting onto the transport ship, she landed on what may have been a different section of the Jade Cradle. She wasn't even sure where he was. Hopefully, there wouldn't be anything to hostile on the ole' shipyard. They had their comms, of course, but what if they didn't connect? Or if something happened before they could reach other?

She sighed, shaking off the bad thoughts as she entered one of the many hallways of the shipyard. It was dark, quiet, but some backup generators were running. There was enough light to see walk, see movement, and so forth. She took a breath and began searching rooms, hoping for an uneventful mission.
