| Established circa 860 ABY as a direct subsidiary of Von Sorenn Industries - the founding of Titania Automatic was done in a bid to further consolidate the holdings of the already fractured and defunct Trade Federation of Trendivar, which had only been possible once the planet Trendivar fell under the influence of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Due to the shuddering of multiple facilities and holdings of the defunct corporation that was absorbed into the greater Von Sorenn Industries - Titanica Automatic was careful in terms of expansion, rather, their directorate focused on a smaller scope that would ensure the greatest production capabilities with the least cost in terms of expenses. Further ingratiating themselves with the Confederacy of Independent Systems - the corporation followed suit with a number of policies and mandates that their parental corporation had established - specifically, the exclusive hiring of citizens of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The corporation was also well known for utilizing its funds and capabilities to assist in the rebuilding of worlds - such as following catastrophic events on Geonosis, Ryloth, and Rodia. Focusing on the development of droids of all classes, from complex Class I Educational Droids to simple Class V Labor Droids. |
| HISTORICAL AND GENERAL INFORMATION |
| Established during the height of the Confederacy First Mandate - the results of which had a larger impact upon the corporate sector of the Confederacy than first expected despite the fact - which was thought made clear - that corporate entities would not be affected by the mandate when it had been established. As Von Sorenn Industries stepped into the void left behind by many of these corporations that made the decision to flee from the Southern System - and in turn leaving many citizens of the Confederacy of Independent Systems without gainful employment - the decision to further segment and otherwise ensure that individual corporations focused on specific areas of concern saw the founding and rise of a number of Subsidiary corporations. Among those subsidiaries that were given rise in that tumultuous time was what would ultimately become known as the Titanica Automatica - a corporation whose sole purpose was on the research, development, and production of Droids of all manners - with their first line being the hulking U-XIII Veritas Series Battle Droids - which themselves were designed and modeled after the older SD Battle Droid production line. With the Galaxy still fraught with turmoil and danger, and the announcement of the Confederacy once more stepping forth upon the Galactic Stage, it has come to the engineers and scientists of Titanica Automatica to provide the battle droids - and their production facilities having already seen the dull humming roar of production. |
